Currently TTC number 2 and struggling after getting pregnant fairly easily with number 1 (on cycle 3)!
Thought I'd start a thread so we can all support each other. Anyone else on their TTC journey for number 2? I am currently on cycle 7 and have ruled myself out already as negative pregnancy test at 10DPO. Each month I convince myself that I am pregnant! Experienced a chemical at cycle 3 😩

@LemonBitter we have been trying since November! I’m not getting my hopes up!

@RaindropsOnRoses22 hey! Welcome! Cramps could be a good sign though? I overthink everything!!! It really is hard when it’s all you want and everyone round you is pregnant! You are happy for them but also want the same!

@NattyPeer Wow! Huge congratulations on your BFP! Over the moon for you!

Cramps could be a sign, but I'm charting BBT too, and it's dropped steadily over the last couple of days so I'm just waiting for AF to turn up really.

It does feel like the second you start trying, every single person you know is suddenly pregnant and caught first time, or completely by accident

@RaindropsOnRoses22 thank you! Tbh I don’t believe it! I have 0 symptoms so I am a bit shocked to be honest.

I thought my BBT dropped a bit the other day but it was still right above the cover line! Is yours above the cover line?

I was like that with my first, didn't believe it until I saw the word 'pregnant' on the digital.

It's only a little above the cover line so pretty certain I'm out. Just wish AF would arrive now so I can move on to the next cycle!

Ladies, my test is a tad bit lighter than it was yesterday! Trying to remain positive and see what tomorrow brings!

I did test yesterday and was still positive but I have spotting today. I am feeling ok now though and will be on to another month before we know it! So will be joining you again albeit with my cycle will out of whack!

how’s everyone?

On day two of cycle 8 now… AF arrived yesterday but I knew it was happening as my resting heart rate has been falling/didn’t increase after ovulation.

I know 8 cycles isn’t long, but it feels like forever and really feels like it’s never going to happen for us. So all in all feeling cranky and negative.

They do come round quickly at least @NattyPeer 🙂 hope your cycle gets back into sync soon!!

I feel you @Pandamonium04 I'm feeling like it will never happen as well and had a few people ask when we are having another one this week as well 😩

@Pandamonium04 and @LemonBitter when you are going through each cycle, 8 cycles certainly does feel long doesn’t it! We have to try to be positive and think we have another chance fairly soon 🤗

@NattyPeer @LemonBitter i know :( it’s just so hard to stay positive. We have actually started the fertility testing process to see if everything’s fine… tbh I don’t know if this is adding more stress.

doesn’t help either that our toddler is very into babies… and asks to peer at all the babies who come to pick their siblings at nursery…

Hi everyone, just catching up on the messages I missed while we were away. Sounds like we are all heading into another cycle together then.

@NattyPeer really sorry to read your news, so hard to have the excitement build only to be disappointed. Hope you are doing ok.

@LemonBitter seems like maybe you actually ovulated earlier than when you started testing with OPKs then? As the luteal phase tends to stay the same length every cycle (only follicular phase is affected by stress and illness typically). What CD do you start testing? I usually go from about 11 and ovulate around 18/19.

CD6 for me today though and I’ve lost count of whether this is cycle 7 or 8 now.
