Currently TTC number 2 and struggling after getting pregnant fairly easily with number 1 (on cycle 3)!
Thought I'd start a thread so we can all support each other. Anyone else on their TTC journey for number 2? I am currently on cycle 7 and have ruled myself out already as negative pregnancy test at 10DPO. Each month I convince myself that I am pregnant! Experienced a chemical at cycle 3 😩

I will test tomorrow but I know it will be negative because 0 symptoms!!! Just annoying! @LemonBitter

It's annoying and so frustrating... I feel like because I have a 5 year old as well EVERYONE seems to think I'm pregnant / asks if I'm pregnant / asks if we are having another. I just want to say I'm bloody trying to but instead just bat it off and make excuses 😐

Have you told anyone you're trying?

@LemonBitter yesss I completely get that! I make excuses too! I have only told one person! It’s so annoying when people keep asking 😩my temperature keeps going down so I know I’m out of the race already!

Morning ladies, back after the weekend. I feel like up to 9dpo is so boring and not a lot happens so I didn't have much to contribute. Anyway I tested 5am this morning with an easy@home and it was stark white negative which has really disheartened me because I have been having symptoms that I've felt when I was pregnant with DS (albeit much later on, I don't recall any symptoms during the TWW but I wasn't really tracking that time either).

How is everyone else feeling?

Hey @HRHXO - sorry to hear it's a negative 😩 you're still in technically but I know that white stick staring back at you is beyond shit.

I've only got CB digitals at home and it's too early for them so gonna try and hold off a bit. I'm not sure I even ovulated this cycle so know what it will say anyway 😒

@HRHXO heyyy! I took a test and stark white, I don’t feel any different so I think I’m out to be honest! With DD I was extremely tired and hungry! If you have symptoms that’s a good sign! The easy@home ones would be extremely unlikely to pick a positive up at this stage hun so don’t lose hope! I have hope for you!

@NattyPeer thanks lovely, I needed to hear that. I keep thinking do another test do another test but I'm going to wait until tomorrow when I'm 10dpo now. Trying to stay positive!

Sorry @NattyPeer, it's so disappointing isn't it. I'm going to buy some cheapies so I might test later or tomorrow. I'd be 9DPO if I did ovulate on CD14 🥴

@LemonBitter very disappointing! Do you have any symptoms?

@NattyPeer none so I'm ready for that BFN to appear 😂

@LemonBitter no, other half is taking the tests away 🤣 I just get so upset so it’s not worth it!

I've just fully lost the plot and started shining my phone torch under the easy@home strip test I did earlier and convinced myself there is a shadow 🙃 I feel fully blind now after staring into the light for so long. The test is quite clearly stark negative. I can't be the only one who does this right??

@HRHXO yep, think we have all done the shine the torch 🤣 I convince myself every month I see a line!

@NattyPeer at least it's not just me! 10dpo today and tested with fmu but completely negative so that's disappointing. Why did I think I would get pregnant first try fir baby no2 when baby no1 took 10 months?!

@NattyPeer 11 dpo today but temperatures are dropping so will come on my period tomorrow.
Thankfully our holiday has put it all to the back of my mind so the disappointment is eased this month.

Sorry to hear about the bfns to those that have tested!

How is everyone doing? I'm holding off testing as I'm just so sick of wee stick stress 😩 zero symptoms though and not even sure I ovulated.

Hoping my cycle gets back on track next month so we can try and time things right.

Hi everyone! Can I join too. Also TTC #2 and on cycle 7... period's due next Tuesday and I'm sure it's coming. Took 4 cycles to conceive our first and that felt ages... My husband and I are both 33. Honestly thought it would've happened by now. Ugh.

We got lucky with our first but it just doesn't seem to be happening this time round 😩 my period isn't due for 3 days and I'm usually like clockwork but I started bleeding today so looks like I'm out again 😭

Hey @Pandamonium04 nice to have you here! I was pretty similar with the first one as it took us 3 cycles to conceive! I naively thought it would be similar but I am older now! I’m almost 34 and OH is 35! Do you feel like everyone is pregnant also?

@LemonBitter how long did it take to conceive with your first? We are on the same number of cycles aren’t we? 8? Or have I made that up! Oh no 😢 must be because you were ill! I had one month like that was very weird!

@LemonBitter oh nooo - I think that’s going to be me this cycle. I’m only due my period on Tuesday but woke up really crampy today… I am usually like clockwork too, but since we’ve started trying, some months it just comes early. I tell myself ok not too bad news at least ovulation will similarly come earlier and we can try earlier!

@NattyPeer omg yes. Literally everyone is. From our antenatal group of ten, seven have either had their second now or are expecting. I have a feeling the other two might be one and done so it’s just us? Doesn’t help that google tells me the statistic for secondary infertility is 10% so I’m like ok are we the 10%. I’ve also just got a new manager at work and she’s pregnant as well, so… yeah seems like literally everyone is 😮‍💨

@Pandamonium04 that's a great point!!! Really hoping my cycle goes back to normal, this was a weird month.

Yeah I think we are about the same @NattyPeer, been trying since January 😢 with my first we were super lucky and conceived first cycle. How about you? I expected it to take longer this time round as I'm older and fatter but was kind of hoping it would have by now 😭 xx

TTC #2, on our second cycle and currently 6dpo, although I'm a bit crampy right now so think AF is on her wah. Struggling mentally this month as a friend has just told me she's pregnant and is announcing it to our friends on a girls trip this weekend and knowing my luck, AF will arrive this weekend too.

Guys, I caved and did do another test. It sounds weird but I saw 11:11 (angel numbers) that last couple of days. I thought I know I am not pregnant as got negatives previously but wanted to get it out of my head so did some tests! I’m not getting my hopes up yet as I have been here before but safe to say there have been tears!!!! It wasn’t my first morning urine but this afternoon as I just did it spur of the moment (asked partner to get the hidden tests out).

I am feeling anxious posting this and guilty!
