Currently TTC number 2 and struggling after getting pregnant fairly easily with number 1 (on cycle 3)!
Thought I'd start a thread so we can all support each other. Anyone else on their TTC journey for number 2? I am currently on cycle 7 and have ruled myself out already as negative pregnancy test at 10DPO. Each month I convince myself that I am pregnant! Experienced a chemical at cycle 3 😩

@NattyPeer thats good news about your scan, I hope everything stays positive for you over the next few weeks. Will you have another scan or wait?

Im now 22 weeks, just like @hopefullyTTC2x im occasionally returning hoping to see positive news from everyone here.

Ttcin2021 · 21/12/2024 20:15

Well… update from me. Had an early scan at 6+5 and can definitelY say I’d recommend coq10 as there are currently two heartbeats…. Twins! One is measuring 5 days behind and just says “subtle heartbeat” rather than “heartbeat present” on report so I don’t know if that twin will hang on but they have their own yolk sacs so I guess could have fertilised later and be behind…. Trying to stay positive. Crazy that I think I released two eggs!

SkaterChick · 22/12/2024 10:30

@NattyPeer that's wonderful news about your scan, hopefully that's helped Tou feel less anxious? 💜

@Ttcin2021 I started a conception multivitamin with this at the start of the month. Not holding much hope for this month due to life and things but fingers crossed for Jan 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Ttcin2021 · 22/12/2024 10:32

@SkaterChick oh that’s great, which one? I took the zita west coq10 and DHA. I obviously can’t ever prove it was that but it was our 7 month of trying after a mmc and was the only thing that had changed!

@SkaterChick i have my next scan on Thursday so let’s see what that brings!

I found the proceive conception to be the one that’s help me along with extra vitamin d and omega 3!

Hey ladies sorry I've been off grid a little again. The germs just have not stopped at our house we've all been so sick.
We dtd Thursday (cd 18) and I just this morning got my opk peak(cd21). But we're not going to get anymore in cause I got hit by the nasty chesty cough thing DS brought home on Friday and then yesterday I was bit with what I think was food poisoning (no one else has been sick and I went out for dinner Thursday) and this morning hubby is full of the chesty cough thing.
Oh well such is life.
All bringing up lots of memories though as I got my peak with DS on boxing day and due to us having COVID and things he was conceived 25th or 26th!

I took the proceive conception which has C0Q10 in it! I tried a mix of vitamins before with C0Q10 on its own but didn’t seem to do the trick but could just be luck!!!

Aw that’s great news @NattyPeer how far on are you? Hopefully this one sticks, it’s sounding really positive x

AF is due today for me, nowhere to be seen and testing negative on strip tests so not sure whether I should break out the clear blue and see if it picks up anything. Weirdly my Flo app says it might still be too early to test (I have shorter cycles) so I’m really not sure what’s going on. I usually spot for a couple of days before AF and none of that but there’s not even a hint of a line on the tests so I think I might just be late.

Thank you!!! How are you doing? did AF show?

I am now 7 w + 5 days today! xx

Unfortunately I’ve had a CP. Got some really nice BFPs then started spotting on Friday, got worse yesterday morning and turned in to full AF in the afternoon so at least it’s been quick in that regards.

Will obviously see how long the bleeding lasts but if it’s around the same as normal AF then I’m likely to ovulate on New Year’s Day. We are just going to start TTC straight away, doesn’t appear to be a reason that we need to wait after a CP so fingers crossed.

Oh nooo! That is so upsetting, I am so sorry! I found mine was around the same length as normal AF length wise just heavier!!! Xxx

That’s really good to know but sorry you had to go through it ☹️ I’m feeling much better about the whole thing now, I’m just glad the bleeding came on thick and fast if that makes sense?

Something strange I’ve noticed is that I’ve been suffering from a bad eczema flare up since my daughter was born. Since my CP started, the eczema has almost all cleared up so I wonder if I had a hormonal imbalance that’s now correcting itself. Will be interesting to see how things go.

Hey ladies.

Bit of a ramble below but if anyone has any advice that would be much appreciated.

9 months in to ttc no 2. Had two previous pregnancies - a MC and my DD. I became pregnant on 1st and 2nd cycles. My DD was born prem at 29 weeks. I’ve had on/off abdo pain for years which has been investigated. Ovulation is so painful and sex can be really uncomfortable. Recently I’ve had worse left side pain and some bleeding. Found I’ve got a swollen kidney so waiting for more tests.

What are the odds of this being related? I’m 35 and don’t want to leave things too long but also no idea what to do, who to see or what I should be having checked. I’ve had ultrasounds and found no cysts etc.

Hi lovely I don't really have much advice but you could see if go will give you a fertility referral? Cause they say to have fertility checks after ttc for 6m at 35+

How was everyone's Xmas?
Hubby, DS and myself all had flu so we've seen no friends or family. Still not 100% either

Told myself I wasn't going to symptom spot this month but here we are 😂

CD 29, 7DPO (ovulation cd 23, lh peak cd22), only dtd cd 18.

Yesterday had a sharp twinge of pain lasting about 30 secs or so on the right side, enough to make me go oohh what is that and then it was gone.
Later yesterday a deeper stabby pain on the left side that lasted a min or 2.
Today I caught site of myself getting out the shower and thought huh my nipples look different, on closer inspection they looked a bit dark/purpley. Prob just cause I had an absolute steaming hot shower to try and steam my sinuses a bit but I thought you lot would understand my utter madness at half my brain being illogically wild and trying to convince me it could be pregnancy 😂😂😂

Think AF is due 5-7 days time based on ovulation date.

Blue2020 · 30/12/2024 22:57

@SkaterChick myself, DH and DS have all been ill too. Bad cold and cough. DS gave it to me on Xmas Eve and DH caught it on Xmas day. So we’ve all been unwell. Just near the end of the cold but the cough is still quite bad for me.

Edited

My cough just doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
The drs even gave me an inhaler to try and help.
When I lie down all I can hear is a wheezy rattle when I breath out and it's making it so hard to sleep!
Thankfully ds cough is getting better as at first it was constant through the night which would trip the monitor and wake me up!

Hope you all feel better soon xx

Blue2020 · 31/12/2024 04:42

@SkaterChick oh no, I hope your cough goes soon. I have heard a few people struggle to get rid of their coughs and they stayed around for a while.

Mine is being challenging. I am currently sat up in bed right now because if I lie down I’m just coughing so badly and it doesn’t stop until I sit back up. Even propped up doesn’t work.

I spent a couple of nights basically upright, I grabbed every extra pillow I could and just attempted to get comfortable ... I got some sleep but wasn't great 😅

How's everyone doing?
13dpo, cd 35. No signs of AF.
I guess my cycles are no longer a regularly 28 days bang on which is frustrating.
I hate this unknown just waiting for my period to decide to show up so we can move on.

Thank you. I think once I’ve got kidney results I’ll go back and ask more tests/a referral. I think I might have endometriosis and it’s been mentioned a few times over the years but symptoms have never been severe enough to persevere and I had my little girl too.
I feel ovulation so not sure if there’s much point but I’m starting to track ovulation today.

It is so frustrating. My cycles are usually 27 days but last month mine was 33 days. It’s so hard not to get carried away and symptom spot. Have you tested?

It's so frustrating when they were regular for the longest of time then have just started going all over the place the last few months.
I was 2 weeks late in October and it's just continued since then.
I tested yest and this morning. Definitely negative.
