Currently TTC number 2 and struggling after getting pregnant fairly easily with number 1 (on cycle 3)!
Thought I'd start a thread so we can all support each other. Anyone else on their TTC journey for number 2? I am currently on cycle 7 and have ruled myself out already as negative pregnancy test at 10DPO. Each month I convince myself that I am pregnant! Experienced a chemical at cycle 3 😩

@NattyPeer just a blood test

loveyababesx · 23/09/2024 08:10

@NattyPeer it's still early! You still have time ❤️

I came on today 2 days early which I'm happy about as I can reset xx

Boymum1995 · 23/09/2024 09:52

Hi ladies, checking back in to see how everyone is. Just had two back to back chemicals and currently in the TWW again! Feeling absolutely 0 symptoms and not hopeful.

Booked to have a private ultrasound the other week and everything looked ok. Also been referred to the recurrent miscarriage unit so waiting for an appointment for that.

MyGardenDaisies · 23/09/2024 10:41

@Boymum1995 sorry to hear that. How do you know you had a chemical? Through blood tests or early private ultrasound at 6/7 weeks?

I am on cycle day 6, but tend to ovulate day 17, so still have time till this month’s fertile window.
I’ve started a pre conception multivitamin Pregnacare do, but have read it makes some people’s cycles longer. Will see how it affects mine.

Boymum1995 · 23/09/2024 10:45

@MyGardenDaisies I had tested positive around 11-14dpo and then I had got my period a few days late and the the tests turned negative 😫😔

Which is happened twice now

RoseA89 · 23/09/2024 17:42

@NattyPeer it's so hard. I'm now thinking if I got pregnant when we started trying, the baby would have been born by now. It's tough. It's good you've got some bloods booked though and it's positive that the ultrasound was clear. Fingers crossed it will happen soon 🤞🏼 let this be our month! 🍀

FirmOtter · 23/09/2024 17:47

We have a 5 year old already but been TTC no. 2 for around 18 months- just had all our tests done and waiting on results x

MyGardenDaisies · 24/09/2024 20:57

Starting this cycle’s ovulation digital testing tomorrow. Here we go again! ☺️ I’m trying to feel positive and excited

Boymum1995 · 25/09/2024 10:40

Hi loves. Anyone else in the TWW

Boymum1995 · 25/09/2024 10:44

Sorry posted too soon! Currently 8dpo and have no symptoms, so definitely not hopeful this cycle.
Been a crap couple of months with two chemicals and loosing hope slowly, wondering if I may never get there d

Pandamonium04 · 26/09/2024 16:31

hi everyone I hope this is ok to ask. Really stressing myself out and husband won’t be home for a few hours. So I am 16dpo and have a very faint line on a cheap strip, 2-3 on clear blue, and zero line on ovulation test (I did this because with my first pregnancy I had a blazing positive on the ovulation test)

any thoughts 😩😩

do you have any pics of the tests? You don’t need to do an ovulation test

Honestly think that's way too faint a line for 16dpo, feeling rather unhopeful now.

MyGardenDaisies · 26/09/2024 17:05

@Pandamonium04 trust CB 2-3 weeks . Congratulations!

Here we are:

That’s a fine line for 16dpo! I was so concerned mine were so faint, but here’s the progression til 19dpo. I also only got the 2-3 on clear blue this week (although it had been a week since I took it again so it could have come sooner)

Ahhh that looks amazing. How many DPO is this bottom test?

Also 16dpo! Taken a few hours after my first test. Honestly find it all so weird and confusing… I guess the darkness of the line depends on so many things like how diluted your wee is (?) trying not to overthink things now. How many weeks are you x

Yeah it really is and hard not to overthink. I’m really trying not to test at all anymore and wait for my scan in 2 weeks. I’m between 5 and 5.5 weeks depending on whether I take day of last period or ovulation date.

NattyPeer · 16/09/2024 09:57

How are all the pregnant ladies doing, how far are you all now?

I hope you are ok. How is it all going?

I saw this post and then got distracted with something and meant to come back.

I am now 10+1. All my symptoms disappeared at 8+4 so I lasted until two days ago then had to book a scan to know if it was still progressing. It is good news so far, saw the heartbeat. Two weeks now until the dating scan.

Diamond89 · 27/09/2024 20:55

Hi ladies,

Joining the chat if that’s ok!

Currently in the TWW on cycle 7.
DD is 3 (2nd cycle) and I had a MC before DD (1st cycle).

Trying not to be really negative but beginning to worry that it’s just not going to happen. X

MrsB902 · 27/09/2024 21:34

@Pandamonium04 congratulations!

We are currently on cycle 4 of TTC #2 and I’m 7dpo. My stomach muscles have felt a bit tender today as if I’ve done a million sit ups (I definitely haven’t) so I’m trying not to get my hopes up that this could be implantation cramping!

Wishing lots of luck and baby luck to everyone who is waiting to wee on a stick!

VioIetMoon · 30/09/2024 11:41

@RoseA89 the loneliness is hardest thing In this world. I felt extremely isolated ttc my first. He took 18 years, he's an ivf baby so not holding out much hope of a natural pregnancy this time, although we did have a natural pregnancy 2 years ago but ended in mc so im praying its possible again. Pregnancy seems to come so easily to everyone around me. Most seem to get pregnant without even trying or first or second month for all their babies so I don't have anyone in my life who can relate to trying to get pregnant for months ... and beyond. How are you coping? 9 months isn't too long in reality ( I know it feels like an eternity ) so try not to worry too much
Easier said than done I know
