Currently TTC number 2 and struggling after getting pregnant fairly easily with number 1 (on cycle 3)!
Thought I'd start a thread so we can all support each other. Anyone else on their TTC journey for number 2? I am currently on cycle 7 and have ruled myself out already as negative pregnancy test at 10DPO. Each month I convince myself that I am pregnant! Experienced a chemical at cycle 3 😩

Hellooo everyone, just hopping in having read the last few pages. About to start ttc #2. I'm 36 (and would be 37 at birth if I conceive quickly). It took a year and two brutal miscarriages to conceive DS (who's now 16 months), and I'm honestly terrified of going through it all again, but I'm equally terrified of waiting too long and it not happening?!? Not easy is it...

To make matters even more fun I've got a new job starting in December, I only just found out (it was an internal opportunity I felt I really 'should' go for), it's great but a huge, scary step up and the idea of doing it whilst pregnant is so hideous to me ( I was soooo sick in pregnancy), but again the consequences of putting off ttc are just not worth the risk. I love my son so so much but I can't wait for the whole ttc, pregnancy phase of life to be over!!

I am really sorry to hear about the chemicals, I truly understand how you are feeling! How did you manage to get referred? I have had two but they don’t seem concerned!

Hey everyone how are all doing?
Lovely to see there's been a positive since I was here last month.

Took some time off from the internet.
I even decided not to use my tracking app and opks this month. I just didn't want anything to do with it. So aside from what cycle day I am... I don't have a clue on anything else.

I’ve just started the 2 week wait. I find this all so overwhelming, like I can’t think of anything else without TTC in the background

@NattyPeer Hi! I've had three miscarriages in total so that's why I believe, I went to my gp and she was happy to refer me. It's a 3 month wait at the moment I believe xx

Don't think I've ovulated at all and currently cd34.

Has anyone got any tips to keep your mind busy in the TWW? Don't want to drive myself mad again this month xx

@loveyababesx leaving the house - walk, coffee date, browsing the shops, etc. has been working really well for me, or reading fantasy books.
Alsonjust reminding myself that time will pass anyways so next week I will either be pregnant or will be a new opportunity…

Does anyone else ovulate on a different day of your cycle each month? We are up to month 5 of trying for number 2 and I seem to be in a pattern of ovulating on cycle day 14 one month then cycle day 17 the following and repeat! I don’t suppose it matters but just curious if anyone else is the same and also if anyone knows why this may be! I always feel like I learn loads from this thread so interested to hear what others think ☺️ good luck to everyone for this month xx

Yeah I was taking ovulation tests for a few cycles before we were TTC. I was normally getting a positive test around day 14, but then ovulated day 19 of the cycle we actually conceived!

Yes, I seem to ovulate on different days for the past 4 cycles before then it was pretty much the same! I have no idea why 🤔 I hope more baby dust will be spread this month! I will be in the two week wait tomorrow so I am a bit behind everyone. Where is everyone in their cycle?

I’m so sorry to hear this! I am glad you were referred. It’s all very hard isn’t it and no one understands unless they have been through it!

Yup, different every month!

This prompted me to check my cycle day and I'm cd26 today.
App says period due tomorrow but my last few cycles have been a bit longer.
No symptoms of pregnancy or period that I've noticed so I might test Saturday if no period, only because I have a wedding Saturday night and would like to know before I get plastered 😂

Hi guys, 9DPO today and BFN have no symptoms at all so I feel like I'm out this month.

@SkaterChick I admire that you've only just realised your CD26! I count the days and hours in the 2WW.

I just haven't bothered with anything this month. It was effecting my mental health too much

@SkaterChick I totally get it. I'm defo having a break this month and I'm going to try enjoy my Xmas without thinking about it!

I want to relax and enjoy it.
Plus there's so much to do without worrying about checking the time to pee on another stick and panicking about squeezing all the sex in 😂

So my period is due tomorrow and yesterday/today I've had some clear sticky discharge, like ewcm but a bit thinner. I don't usually get this before a period
Due on tomorrow so debating testing in the morning
