Currently TTC number 2 and struggling after getting pregnant fairly easily with number 1 (on cycle 3)!
Thought I'd start a thread so we can all support each other. Anyone else on their TTC journey for number 2? I am currently on cycle 7 and have ruled myself out already as negative pregnancy test at 10DPO. Each month I convince myself that I am pregnant! Experienced a chemical at cycle 3 😩

I think one more for good measure, why not!

@NattyPeer I'm really sorry you've been through them too, did you have any tests done? I did go to the GP as that would be my third miscarriage in total and I think they're looking to run some basic tests and an ultrasound but the wait is months and months! Not sure I can wait that long so the only way forward I think is trying again 🙏🏼

I've only just stopped bleeding with the chemical, so ovulation is predicted to be around 16th Sept 🤞🏼 but I'll be tracking just to see if my cycle has stayed the same or it may go awol after the chemical.

do you also find that the opk remains positive for a long time ?
its been super strong positive on easy @ home for 32 hours now…

Mine was positive for 2 days this month, then apparently I ovulated a day after the end of the peak.

Interesting! How do you know you ovulated? I read that it doesn’t matter what the “peak” is, rather the first positive OPK!

Yeah it's definitely felt more relaxed. My mental health hasn't been great due to various other factor's though.
But my partner and I are trying to have less screen time and connect a bit more, we had some issues last couple months where he started new meds and was struggling to finish but we don't seem to have had any issues with it this month (it just takes a bit longer than it did before) so I'm hoping thats a sign were both doing a little better.

Glad the summer is over and we can get back to our regular routine or groups and things as well cause I really struggle to get out and do a lot over the holidays

I am measuring BBT too which rises after ovulation, so natural cycles can use both info to pin it down more accurately

Are you CD 23 like me? How many dpo are you now?
I saw some new babies today and it's given me a raging urge to rest but unsure on my dpo. I have some IC so might try in the morning. I just dunno if I can deal with the disappointment this month.

I had really bad cramps Thursday that confused me but then I had upset belly so I suspect it's that.
This evening I've got intermittent pain on right but closer to the middle that ovulation/ovary pain if that makes sense? And lower back ache on the left. But that could be from spending the day in a camping chair 😅
Seeing those fresh bloody babes has just made me want to to happen now. So much.

I am CD23 and 8DPO!

Ah mate, I know that feeling, I had a 3 month old on my lap the other week and even the smell gets me sad now! He was bloody gorgeous though so I let him off 🤪

Well done for holding off testing, you've done better than me! I have tested today and it's negative (I think) but still a week until period.

I've been getting cramps every day, I am next level shattered and waves of nausea BUT if there's one thing I've learnt from doing this for 6 months is, I can convince myself there could be a baby in there and AF will come. So I'm just vibing at the moment. We BD literally only on ovulation day as well!

@SkaterChick oh and the acne is ACNE'ing. Horrendous face at the moment!!

Mine is awful right now. Since stopping bf it's come back in cystic acne form. I'm pretty upset about it cause the treatment for it was ROUGH.

I can convince myself that any little feeling is pregnancy related and set myself up.for.the disappointment.

If you're 8dpo I'm likely the same then. Ovia says AF due weds putting me at a 26 day cycle but as they've started varying in length I'm prob not actually due that early... I guess it's based on my average? Idk.

I'll try and hold off testing till next week if I can...

So... husband has got himself into a right tiz and has now decided that he doesn't want another child yet. I don't even know how to feel 🤪

I wonder if it’s just because he is feeling stressed with everything? Like @SkaterChick said best to sit down with him to see what’s happening.

How are all the pregnant ladies doing, how far are you all now?

I'm stressing tbh, I'm 12DPO and took 2 more tests this morning that are super faint. I had a positive digital yetserday but I would have thought they'd be darker by now? Everyone here seems to have v dark tests by 12dpo

Top pink test is 10dpo, bottom blue cap is 12dpo this morning. I'm properly freaking out today and can't focus on anything. I also did a cheap pregmate that had a line but so faint too.

I have so far.
I think my pmdd started kicking in today, I'm exhausted and woke up feeling like I'd had no sleep. My acne is awful. In headachy and grumpy.
I got to hold a beautiful 4 day old babe today and cried. And just talking about my littles birth and things set me off too.

And to top it off I think I have a UTI 😅

How sensitive are those tests? They don’t look like tests I have seen before! also do you know when you definitely ovulated? Everyone’s lines can be different!!! Will you test again today?

I live in Switzerland (I moved here 10 years ago!), so I can't say for sure how "good" these tests are, there are really not many options in the pharmacies. It says they are 10 mui.

I did take another one this morning, if there is a difference it's minimal, but I also took a CB digital which said positive 1-2

I called my doctor and they won't do a blood test now, they said they don't care how dark the line is, but I have an appointment in 3.5 weeks.

Hi everyone, is it ok if I join? I'm TTC baby #2. Have been trying for 9 months, did a test today and was stark white.
Have DS who was conceived without trying so I'm finding this really difficult. It feels very lonely x

A lot of people use the first response or early clear blue which are more sensitive! A line is a line so hopefully everything will be ok ☺️ I am sure it will be!

@NattyPeer thank you! It's nice to have people to talk to and who are going through similar situations. I know it's within the year timeframe but it's still hard!

I had my son naturally. Although I was induced at 38 weeks because I bled through my entire pregnancy.

I started off taking the pregnacare vitamins but then moved to proceive. It's so expensive! I also bought the omega 3 tablets to take this month too but it's not made a difference. I don't want to think of the money I've spent on vitamins/OPK's and pregnancy tests.
Are you taking any vitamins? I'm running out of mine now and seriously thinking about giving them a miss for a while.

I’m taking Pregnacare. Do you find proceive better as I wasn’t sure which was better to be honest! I knowww, I have honestly spent soooo much month! I have stocked up on pregnancy tests so hopefully won’t have to buy any more for a while!

vitamins are very expensive! It just seems like such a long time doesn’t it when you are in the thick of it!
