7dpo and keeping busy!

Just posting because I can't think of anything else! It's only cycle 1 TTC#2 and I'm already obsessed 🙄

I'm 7/8dpo and AF is due in the next couple of days. Promised myself I would wait until 12dpo to test (by that point I'd be around 4 days late so hopefully more likely to have a positive result!)

How is everyone else keeping distracted / busy?

I’m also roughly 7dpo I think - not been testing. Work is super busy at the moment (I’m a teacher) so just throwing myself into that but I know in the next couple of days I’ll be itching to test! I’m TTC #2 too. How old is your dc?

@soymilknosugar ah that must be helpful having work to keep you busy! I work from home most of the week and it's quiet this week so finding it hard to take my mind off it. My first is 3y3m, if I conceive this cycle #2 due date would be around his 4th birthday (it's what I'm going to rely on to make me feel better if it doesn't happen this time, because nobody wants to share their birthday with their siblings!). How old is yours?

@koalabearboombox haha very true! Did you track etc this month? I was on the depo for ages and came off in Dec so only had my first proper period last month. Possibly a bit optimistic to think I might have a regular cycle now lol but thinking positively! My daughter is 19 months.

@soymilknosugar I've been tracking period / cycle dates for a while just to see where my body is at. Only started doing OPKs this month and caught my peak straight away! If we conceive it will be a one hit wonder IYSWIM 😂

Hi, I am around 7dpo today, cycle 2 TTC #1. Also keeping busy with work and then have lots planned for my days off. AF due next Wednesday, planning to test on Sunday at around 10dpo. Last cycle I had faint positives on 2 brands at 10dpo and then fainter the next day, followed by AF when it was due. This time if I get faint positives, I’ll do an early digital to confirm. Anyone else testing on Sunday?

Hi everyone I’m 6 or 8 DPO. Two apps say two different things 😂
could anyone please look at my BBT charts and say what day they think it was or whether I’ve ovulated at all? My temp doesn’t go up massively after O annoyingly.

I’m 7dpo trying for baby no.2. This is our fifth month and I’m getting a bit disheartened to be honest - it happened very quickly with my first. I promised myself I wouldn’t symptom spot this month as I think our chances are low but today I have had a lot of cramping and when I wiped after going to the loo there were a couple of tiny flecks of pink. I’m also super emotional and getting teary at the drop of a hat. Of course this could all be AF coming!!
AF is due Sunday so I’ll be testing then if she doesn’t appear before then

@LuckyFlash sounds like good signs- surely would be too early for AF bleeding? Fingers crossed it’s implantation. I can understand the feeling disheartened, I’m on my third month/second cycle (long cycles) and would really struggle if I had to keep doing this for too long

I think I will test at the weekend too. Had headaches and felt a bit nauseous the last couple of days but could be the heat or a bug!

@LuckyFlash sorry you're feeling so disheartened 💐 it can be a rough ride and so emotional with all the ups and downs. How long did it take to conceive your first? It took us three cycles for DS, but I had set my expectations to take a year. I'm finding I have so much less patience this time!

@soymilknosugar exciting! Countdown to the weekend is on. How long are your cycles normally? Mine are 24 days, usually clockwork. Got to day 25 and was excited to have no AF, then she arrived with a vengeance at 9pm.

@koalabearboombox oh no! Was this yesterday?! I have only had one period since coming off the depo so tbh I have no idea! if I’m not pregnant I really hope af arrives so then I can roughly work out cycles etc! I’m CD24 today and think I may have ovulated 8 or so days ago as I had a tiny bit of spotting.

Is it ok to join? I'm 9dpo today (I think). I've been testing since 8dpo as I got a positive test last time on 8dpo but negative tests so far this month 💔 it's so frustrating 💔

@soymilknosugar yes yesterday - ovulated super late and we didn't catch it so think the first cycle was a bit of a write off to be honest. Ooh so your cycles are still a bit of a mystery... Can totally relate to that need to just know what is going on in there. I came off the implant in Sept last year, been on it since 6 weeks pp with my son and was very surprised to see my cycles were exactly the same as before.

Welcome @Bb542 still early, give it time. I know the BFNs are hard to see though 💐

@koalabearboombox ahh sorry to hear that, though like you said solves the potential birthday sharing! If you’re super regular shouldn’t be too hard to catch ovulation next time hopefully🤞 Yes exactly that! It took 5 months for me to get a period at all so would be bloody lovely if my cycles are back to 30 days like before the depo! Fingers crossed for you for next month x

Due next Tuesday so still have time but I think having tested positive so early last time, I just feel like I'm out 😞

@koalabearboombox thanks so much! It's defo hard seeing the negative tests but also I know I would feel a lot worse if I waited to test and held out hope for a BFP for it to be negative.

Oh of course I’ve been spotting them 😂

Headaches, tiredness, nausea, cramping - but could also be a bug of some kind!!

It took 2 cycles last time and I was very surprised!
im also trying to be patient but it’s never been my strong suit. 8dpo today and more very light spotting and cramping and tearing up at everything. For the last 5 months I have started spotting 11dpo and come on on day 12 or 13 so either it’s IB or my body playing a very cruel trick! Trying not to get hopes up but I seem to every month.
mom going on holiday next week so in reality it’s fine either way - if I’m not pregnant at least I’ll get to enjoy some rose by the pool!
