7dpo and keeping busy!

Just posting because I can't think of anything else! It's only cycle 1 TTC#2 and I'm already obsessed 🙄

I'm 7/8dpo and AF is due in the next couple of days. Promised myself I would wait until 12dpo to test (by that point I'd be around 4 days late so hopefully more likely to have a positive result!)

How is everyone else keeping distracted / busy?

9dpo today. Feeling nauseous this morning. I test and I "think" I see a shadow... Let's see tomorrow.

@Chocolate4 thank you 🤩 exciting, hoping for a good test for you tomorrow! I find waiting the whole day to test the next morning very difficult, I’m so impatient 😅hope you have something to keep you occupied

I agree, it's so hard to resist the urge to test again...and again..and maybe again just to be sure 🤣 I already have 3 little crumpets, 10, 8 and 6 years old. The little one has been ill since Sunday. High fever and stomac ache 🥺 she is off school so keeping me busy looking after her. Luckily I'm self employed and can rearrange my own schedule.

Do you have any children? What do you do to keep yourself busy?

@Chocolate4 aww hope she gets better soon! I don’t have any children yet so this would be my first all being well 🤞I’m actually on holiday at the moment so has been a bit easier, usually work keeps me busy but I work shifts so I do have chunks of time off sometimes which can make the days feel so long in the TWW

thank you @Chocolate4 i think I’m out, which is probably lucky as husband wasn’t keen and I’m getting older, feel like this was my last chance so it’s hard to take today :-( The weather is awful and matches my mood at the moment x

I'm 7dpo, first proper cycle TTC since my MMC in February. Not any real symptoms yet so unsure how it'll go but I'm trying to stay positive.

@Yellowrayofsunshine sorry you feel like that today. Sometimes unexpected things happens and I hope, whatever the outcome, you both will be okay with it.

How frustrating. Still have all the symptoms, 11dpo, went to test this morning and the test wouldn’t work !! So now I have to wait another 24 hours to test again. I was in bits last night with the impatience of it all and then the test didn’t work anyway, I’m so upset and frustrated and want to know! Has this happened to anyone else?

That sounds incredibly frustrating! It's so tough to be feeling all those symptoms and not get the answer you were hoping for. I can't imagine how hard it must be to wait another day. I haven't had a faulty test before. Try to take it easy and do something to distract yourself if you can. Fingers crossed for you that the next test gives you the clarity you need!
Ps: why do you need to wait another 24 hours?

Did a clear blue early detection this morning and BFN... 10dpo today. I believe I'm out as it would have picked it up I guess.

@Chocolate4 yes it’s been hellish but trying to get through the day and distract myself. I figured because it’s early to test (some don’t get results until at least 14 or 15 dpo) you need first mornings wee to get highest chance of HCG being picked up. It’s still early for you at 10dpo though, don’t give up. What are your symptoms today?

I couldn't help myself to check again the test after I left it sitting for a while and notice a very faint line. It's more noticeable in real. I know it has to be an evap line as it was hours later 😂🤪 but it gives me a bit of hope haha.

Well done for trying to distract yourself. One day at a time.

Still some lower belly cramps that come amd goes and had twinges on my left side all morning.

@Chocolate4 before I read your post I thought I spotted a faint line on your picture , not to get your hopes up or anything and as you say, it’s easier to tell in real life. Hope this is the start of something positive for you 🙂 xx

I’m back to cramping and twinges both in the front and the back, nausea doesn’t seem so bad today though. Would love to know what’s causing it even if it’s not pregnancy, it’s not only cruel to mimick symptoms but worrying. Could be all in my head I suppose. Brains are funny aren’t they 😞

To add, when I was first pregnant I didn’t know it until 6 weeks in, got exactly the same symptoms but put it down to partying too hard (!!) as I convinced myself I was infertile , i never symptom spotted so was an absolute shock at the time. Now I think all the anxiety about symptom spotting when it’s only been a few days and if I’m not it seems to have messed everything up in my body and I’m feeling things I shouldn’t be.

It is crazy how our body makes us feel when we symptom spot! It drives me insane! I'm now wondering if it could be endometriosis.

Not testing this morning as don't have any tests left haha.

@Chocolate4 when are you testing next? I got a BFN this morning, 12dpo. I’ll test again at the weekend at 14/15 dpo and stop, I’m busy from 6am until midnight tomorrow so won’t have chance before then anyway. I’m starting to accept that another child isn’t in my future, the stress of symptom spotting and testing has all got a bit much for me. I really hope you get your positive 🤗xx

I totally get it. I feel like I'm wasting so much time symptom spotting and checking on Internet or reading forums.
Getting prepared that it could just not be this month and go with it would be much easier and far less stressful and paranoia.

Big day tomorrow for you, it's good that you'll be so busy and won't get a chance to think about it.

I did test around 2pm and this very faint line came up straight away. I got my hopes up but then when hubby arrived tonight, I did another one, around 7pm and BFN. Like plain white.

Both tests are different brand but both are very sensitive 10mIU.

Anyways...I feel angry, tired and fed up today and just wish I could fast forward my period so I know.

Ps: those 3 pics are the same test. The one I did at 2pm.
