Two week wait anyone?

Anyone else currently in TWW? I’m 4dpo and anxiously waiting until I can test.

I am currently trying to conceive my 3rd baby. I have 2 girls who are 6 and 8. And I’m desperately hoping they to see a positive test
My periods have been very irregular for the past year or so. But got a positive ovulation test on Sunday morning and have done BD with hubby last Wed, Saturday night and Monday night.

Im also anxious because as ridiculous as it sounds I’ve had 2 online readings from 2 different psychics last month, one said I would conceive in November and give birth in August and one said September and December would be important months. Now I can’t get it out of my head that I won’t convince until the end of the year (if that even happens) 🙈🙈

I had no problems conceiving my first two girls 6 and 8 years ago, happen on first try both times so I am desperately hoping it will be the same this time. I am 30 now so still young.

8DPO - big fat negative.

Not sure why I tested but not even a glimmer... just going to mope in the corner.

As far as I can remember, it's not really common for me. I believe the last time they hurt was just before my period in January. I've never really had regular periods (especially on the pill), but I'd come off it at end of Nov/start of Dec and didn't get even a hint of a period in December so think my body was just out to wind me up lol.

I know very unlikely to be anything pregnancy related but I've felt so nauseous last night and today and nothing is shifting it, so if anyone has any ideas on how to get rid, I'm all ears 😄

Aww there’s been a few of us here today with BFNs at 8dpo. Mine was the same absolutely no line at all. I was a bit sad this morning but after doing a lot of searching there’s been very little people to get a line at 8dpo. It’s pretty rare
and I think a lot of people who do probably ovulated a day or 2 earlier than they thought x

@RainbowCrocs I just wanted to say that image of you in prescription sunglasses squinting at a test really made me laugh!

Why is it so hard to get FRERs these days? They are my old faithfuls. I never trust clearblues as have had false positives from those before.

Yeah, very common to be getting a BFP at 8dpo. I've seen that if you do happen to get one that early, it's like multiples 🙂

I'm about 6dpo and got woken up to a really sharp pain in uterus. And had a few times today as well. I'm not getting my hopes up as could literally just be nothing but could it be implantation this early ?

Hi! Due AF in 3 days. Super super fatigued, have felt the smidgest of nausea when exercising (never before), no sore boobs, but do have some minor abdominal twitches. Some minor cravings but not sure if this is pregnancy or PMS 🥲 others symptoms are not my usual PMS symptoms so hoping for the best but know my body loooooooves playing tricks on me 🤪 fingers crossed for everyone 💞

It’s so hard when so many symptoms are similar to premenstrual ones. My boobs have started to hurt and I’ve had a headache all day, but AF isn’t due for 8 days. No bfp, but it’s hard not to get my hopes up as I’m 8dpo and know it’s still very early. I’ve had abdominal cramps but I think it’s too early for that to be implantation? Why is it so confusing! Fingers crossed for all of you in this thread. Baby dust for all!

@TaliatheBard I think implantation is usually day 6-10 so not early at all!

Youre right though about symptoms and PMS. I’ve been pregnant 8 times in total (2 kids, many losses) and it’s been different each time. I got excited this eve when getting ready for bed and noticed my nipples were noticeably darker, then realised it will be the cyclogest!

If you can hold out until 10dpo the tests are much more likely to be reliable.

Tested early this morning again 9dpo still clear as day negative 🫤 not feeling as hopeful now but I guess it’s still early xx

It is so early and you can implant any day up to 10 so you are definitely not out. How many days LP do you have? I usually have 12 so going try and resist testing today at 9dpo.

Do you BBT? what's your chart looking like? Mine went up again today - although i know it means nothing.

@Optimistic66 your chart looks good! This is mine today I think I am 13dpo, it's rising but I know it means nothing like you say and I do feel AF will be here tomorrow for me sadly x

Have you tested yet? your chart has the triasphaic where it jumps up again.

did a test and a stark white BFN.

@Optimistic66 I tested on Monday, 11dpo (I think) and stark white negative not even a hint of a line. So I've assumed I'm out. When did you test? If I continue to rise tomorrow I will test. I'm quite new to temping this is my second cycle, have you been temping for a while? Thanks for looking at my chart x

I'm planning on testing Sunday which is 11dpo. I go away then on holiday from Monday to Friday so if it's negative I can just get on with my holiday instead of wondering.
Or would you just wait for period and live in blissful ignorance ?

@Elisabeth3468 as 11dpo won't give you a 100% definite answer I'd wait x

@moosey89 yes think I'll just wait for my period this month. I tested today but only 7dpo so obviously going to be negative! Not sure why I did it lol,

@Elisabeth3468 ah sometimes it's just all a bit much and you can't help it! I haven't tested early except when I was due AF on new year's day so I took a test new year's eve so that I could have drinks without worrying 😄

@moosey89 how long have you been trying ? Is it your first?
Some months I don't test early as can't bare the heart break. It's best just to wait for a missed period. My cousin told me she was pregnant the other day and it hit hard because we've been trying for a second child for nearly a year and she's pregnant with her second already! Her baby is only 3 months old.
Although I certainly don't envy that age gap lol xx

Hi all AF arrived today a day early! At least I've not been sat about waiting or waste too many tests! Taking a break this month then back at it in May. In the kindest possible way I hope to no's see many of you about in other threads!!

11dpo Sunday as well! Planning to test Friday (with a good test) and then just using cheap ones until BFP / aunt flow! Hope you get a BFP!! Keep me updated 🥰

@hopeful117 - i've been TTC for 18 months and testing for a year but I dont always ovulate. However your cycle does look promising.

TBH i have no but i definitely wouldnt be able to wait until you come back - i'd constantly be thinking about it.

@Elisabeth3468 we're also trying for our second and for nearly 18m and this always pinches the worst. People who have two kids after me... how was TTC the first time around for you??

My son is 4 this year and I genuinely imagined i would have a baby by now...

@Elisabeth3468 TTC no.1. was trying with my ex for 2.5 years, got pregnant but ended in MMC at 11 weeks.

With my current partner it was 6 months TTC, ended in MMC at 10 weeks. This is month 9 since surgical management of that miscarriage, so 15 cycles total so far with my partner now, part of nearly 4 years of total trying (with a gap when I split with my ex of about 3 years). It's no wonder I've given up on testing really!
