Two week wait anyone?

Anyone else currently in TWW? I’m 4dpo and anxiously waiting until I can test.

I am currently trying to conceive my 3rd baby. I have 2 girls who are 6 and 8. And I’m desperately hoping they to see a positive test
My periods have been very irregular for the past year or so. But got a positive ovulation test on Sunday morning and have done BD with hubby last Wed, Saturday night and Monday night.

Im also anxious because as ridiculous as it sounds I’ve had 2 online readings from 2 different psychics last month, one said I would conceive in November and give birth in August and one said September and December would be important months. Now I can’t get it out of my head that I won’t convince until the end of the year (if that even happens) 🙈🙈

I had no problems conceiving my first two girls 6 and 8 years ago, happen on first try both times so I am desperately hoping it will be the same this time. I am 30 now so still young.

I feel good! Had some cramping this morning but it's gone now. At this stage I have no idea whether I'm in or out 😂 how about you?

I’m 5dpo and honestly I’m losing my marbles - had a brief cry earlier that I’m out this month. Then the other half was like “babe we’re only 5 SER aren’t we?”

Since egg released apparently 😂 it completely set me off laughing so I was crying and laughing all at the same time.

We’re going out on a date now to try and distract me.

Can I join! Part of another TTC thread but I think everyone else is pretty much out for the month so feeling lonely.

TTC no2 cycle no 2 for us but cycle no 1 I completely missed ovulation week due to irregularly long period! Also very few chances then to dtd due to terrible sleep at the time from DC1.

This time I've done is based on the app again but this is based on a ~30 day cycle so if another long one like last time I maybe have missed fertile window again 😩 but did dtd ALOT more this time 😂 usually try to base off CM but mine is all over the spot since having DC1 and also find the erm 'left overs' 🙈 from dtd really similar and therefore confusing!!

Could be anywhere from 10dpo to 3dpo depending on cycle length 😬 so will test back end of next week.

@RainbowCrocs at 5DPO you are not in or out it's impossible as soooo early so try distract yourself a date sounds fab, keep busy ❤️

I would love to say for sure I won't test until Fri/Sat and stick to my guns, hopefully I don't give in before then! Due AF Thurs or Fri

@Aisling1010 Im also ttc dc3 - kids are 3.5 and almost 6. And @TicklishDreamer I am in almost the same boat as you - mc in Feb at 8.5 weeks. I actually conceived that one accidentally - hadn’t planned on more kids - but we were over the moon and then devastated by the mc which made us realise we wanted to try.

This was my first proper cycle since the mc - got my period pretty much 4 weeks to the day of it. I wasn’t tracking ovulation with opks but based on my cm I think I ovulated on weds this week which was cd 19 for me. I normally ovulate day 16 so a little later - I guess because of the mc. If that’s right we dtd o-2, o-1 and o day so not sure we could have done any thing more!

So I’m 3dpo today and hoping for the best!

i think I’m gonna test no earlier than 14DPO! I really try to hold out till day my period due!

@JumpinJellyfish its taken my cycle ages to get back to normal! Last month was first one and symptoms where so different so I’m not thinking anything could be a sign anymore!

going to really distract myself with loads of activities for the little one till it’s time for AF! Poor thing will be exhausted 🤣

Hi! I had 2 online readings too 🙈 one mentioned 21st Jan being a significant date (nothing happened other than a relatives birthday) and the other said March would be a significant month and here we are in April 🥴

3dpo for me, ovulated wednesday & only managed to BD Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday but really anxious it wasn't enough! Pretty sure this is my first ever cycle I've experienced ovulation symptoms though so that was new lol

@2BabyOrNot2Baby don’t stress it wasn’t enough!! We only BD every other day because otherwise it become a chore for me, every other time we’ve been trying that’s worked! Don’t stress you never know!!

Im 5/6 dpo today! Had some pink spotting today on a wipe! Not quite sure what is up!

I’m about the same 5/6dpo. First positive ovulation test Sunday, still positive Monday. So it’s hard to when exactly lol I’m going by Monday so 5dpo

that sounds kind of promising for possible implantation? Because it would be too early for AF bleeding.. 🤞

One of them was Tas Tarot and the other a 'tiktok psychic', was definitely my moment of weakness at 2am 🤣 I've been told a boy and a girl though! I didn't get any similarities between my two readings so I decided best not to go for a third 🤣

Honestly it's the best attempt we've had for this TTC journey 😅 currently on our 5th month but got the most irregular cycle ever so I'll probably still be waiting for AF by the time it's BD time for everyone else again (hopefully not!)
Not my first baby, I've got a little 18 month old boy, tried for 11 months with him, told my husband I need a break for a month or so as it's becoming so emotionally draining and found out a week later I was expecting! So I think I've fallen into a habit of 'expect the worst and you can't be disappointed' 🙈 ahh possibly 3 girls for you!! You'll have your hands full 🤣

I keep trying to tell myself it only takes 1 🤣 completely get that it starts to feel like a chore, I'm going to sleep like a baby this weekend now the tww is here haha

Thank you. I’m 3dpo today, started to get sore boobs other than that not much. I’m only a bit upset cos I found out today I need antibiotics for something, and I’m worried taking them will somehow affect implantation? :((

Hi! 1 or 2 DPO today, TTC baby no2.
I have long, irregular cycles so OPKs are a must for me otherwise would likely miss the window.
Peak was on Thursday, DTD Thurs & Fri so hope that was enough!

Definitely speak to your GP if you're worried. They may be able to change your medication if needed to something safer!

Sorry if it's really nosey of me to ask, but what are your cycles like? I was just about getting into a normal routine with mine after coming off birth control last year and then had a 37 day cycle for march 🫠 and only just ovulated on day 26 this time round. Feel like everybody else has some kind of normal routine and mine is just whenever it feels like 😩

Wow so many people at exactly same stage as me - 4dpo today?

I’ve had some cramps overnight though I put that down to the progesterone I started taking yesterday as I think it’s too early for any implantation.

DH is away with work for 2 weeks now so I’ve got the kids by myself which I hope will make the tww go faster! Also means I’ll be testing on my own.

Can I ask why you take progesterone? I've thought for a while mine may be low although blood tests have shown it isn't - I've had 2 miscarriages in the last 2 years and can almost feel the progesterone drop before the loss (with my mood/the way I feel)

Hi @hopeful117 I had 3mcs before dc1 and tests showed I had an overactive immune system that was attacking the embryos, so now I take steroids and progesterone from ovulation when ttc - worked perfectly to give me dc1 and 2 who were conceived easily.

I think the progesterone is just part of my clinic’s standard protocol - I’ve never had my levels tested specifically - but happy to take anything that might help! I also take low dose (75mg) aspirin and COQ10.

any new symptoms for anyone?

I had another crazy vivid dream last night. Woke up this morning with sore boobs. Had a good bit of cramping last night. I would say going to the bathroom more frequently.

I was stupidly going to test this morning (at 6dpo) thankfully talked myself out of it 🤣

so my periods have been extremely irregular for the past year or more. My periods had only been coming every 2-3 months so I don’t think I was ovulating much. I hadn’t been tracking or anything because I wasn’t trying for baby then. I did finally go to my Dr 8 weeks ago and get full hormonal blood work done and turns out I have under active thyroid. So I assume that’s what was causing my extreme irregular cycles. As everything else came back normal such as progesterone etc

My last period was 22nd February and when that ended I used ovulation tests every single day and finally got positive on Sunday 7th April. And we DTD on Wed 3rd , Sat 6th and Mon 8th. So I’m hoping that was enough. I wish I got a chance to do it on the Sunday night but we never did!
