Anyone else currently in TWW? I’m 4dpo and anxiously waiting until I can test.

I am currently trying to conceive my 3rd baby. I have 2 girls who are 6 and 8. And I’m desperately hoping they to see a positive test
My periods have been very irregular for the past year or so. But got a positive ovulation test on Sunday morning and have done BD with hubby last Wed, Saturday night and Monday night.
🤞🤞

Im also anxious because as ridiculous as it sounds I’ve had 2 online readings from 2 different psychics last month, one said I would conceive in November and give birth in August and one said September and December would be important months. Now I can’t get it out of my head that I won’t convince until the end of the year (if that even happens) 🙈🙈

I had no problems conceiving my first two girls 6 and 8 years ago, happen on first try both times so I am desperately hoping it will be the same this time. I am 30 now so still young.

sorry for the long read! X

6dpo for me, never bother testing until my period is late. I've got 9 months to worry about being pregnant (have had multiple losses and no children yet) so I'd rather not find out any earlier than that 😂 also not someone who gets pregnant easily so it's a waste of money for me lol

Harveybelle · 16/04/2024 10:33

Hey. I'm on cycle two following a MC in January. Predicted ovulation was Sunday.. we've been trying all weekend, and since then I've not stopped drinking tea and been weeing lots. Too early I know for symptom spotting but it's what's happening lol.
Hoping to get lucky soon. I have a son but our angel baby would have been my OH's first...

AG1993 · 16/04/2024 10:39

@Aisling1010 I tested today too and that was also a negative, I tested purely because I could to be honest hahaha, I am also ridiculously tired today and my boobs have been hurting to the touch for about a week now, they are still sore today and my nipples are sensitive. I'm trying not to read into this as it is common around AF, I wish there were more unusual symptoms to determine if you're pregnant haha x

deliwoman1 · 16/04/2024 10:53

I tested at the crack of dawn this morning too, but only because I woke up convinced I was 10dpo, and then realised it is TUESDAY today, NOT THURSDAY!

So I'm really either 7 or 8 dpo. Obviously a BFN. 🙄I also have zero symptoms of anything, so can't even symptom spot!😂Got a feeling it's not my month again.

I always said I'd be okay with not having a baby in Dec, Jan, or Feb because I figured they were kinda shitty months to have a birthday (I'm beginning of Feb and have always hated it!), but I am not okay with it at all!

First cycle TTC ever and 6dpo today I think (clearblue put me at peak at CD16 but easy@home strips had me at CD20 which was last Wednesday)! I have been taking (cheap) tests just in case and to just get it out of my system (so far all negative) But I'm swayed to believe the cheap ones a bit more! Think I'll take a FRER on Friday at 9dpo!

Fingers crossed for a bfp for you on Friday.

I’m exactly the same about Dec, Jan & Feb. Me and my DP have our birthdays on Dec & Jan, and there are several family birthdays in those three months too. But now I’m actually TTC, I just want that BFP. Fingers crossed that you will get a BFP soon.

deliwoman1 · 16/04/2024 11:50

Yeah, there's something about the miserable British weather that makes winter birthdays a bit drab. But I'll take it if it means I conceive a second and can happily stop trying forever! Fingers crossed for you too, @TaliatheBard , and everyone!

2BabyOrNot2Baby · 16/04/2024 12:50

Another one with sore boobs 🙋🏻‍♀️ keep trying to tell myself to shut up and I'm only 6dpo so it's unlikely but also can't help but bloody symptom spot 🙈 we're our own worst enemy aren't we 🤣

JumpinJellyfish · 16/04/2024 13:04

On the plus side I think those winter birthdays are good in terms of school readiness etc - not so old in the year that they might be bored, but not on the young end either.

Im taking progesterone so you’d think I’d have some symptoms from that but I don’t! For some reason have started to feel depressed and pessimistic about this month.

Me too! Wasn’t expecting positive anyway! But when the tests are sitting there it’s hard to resist haha
do your boobs normally hurt before AF?

I know pms and early pregnancy symptoms are just so similar it’s hard to tell the difference! X

yes we are indeed! These 2 weeks feel like 2 years!! 😅

That’s true about those birthdays! Just in between not too old/or too young for the class!

How many dpo are you again?

its hard not too feel down/depressed too just wondering and hoping 🤞

I can’t decide if I should test tomorrow again at 9dpo or if I should just hold off a bit 🤦‍♀️

@Aisling1010 6 or maybe 7dpo today.

Just got a pregnancy announcement from a friend which has upset me (I know I should just be happy for her!). I don’t think I’ve processed the grief from the mc I had in Feb properly as I’ve been so focused on just moving on and ttc again. I know realistically it can take months to conceive again or might even never happen but I would so love for it to happen this month!

I find it so hard holding off - literally takes all my will power - am hoping to get to saturday because i cant also cope with the faint line analysis.

@Aisling1010 my boobs dont usually hurt before AF - but at this point i dont even know if they hurt but if im imagining this.

Awww I completely understand of course you’re happy for your friend but when it’s something you want so much it’s hard not to feel sad. Even more so when you’ve lost a baby so recently 😢❤️

Also tested today 🙈 very obvious bfn - although I did squint, hold my torch over it, look with and without glasses, even gave my prescription sunglasses a go just in case there was a reflection blocking a second line. Definitely, 100% a bfn …. Like you, I’m not deflated. I knew it would be but they were just sitting there tormenting me haha

Not sure if I have symptoms or not, feeling really tired but then I’ve not slept well the last two nights (struggling to stay asleep). I had cramps yesterday but none today. Boobs are a little sore but like others, just when I press on them. Although I did run up the stairs after the dog this morning without a bra on and nearly cried in pain!

Will probably test again tomorrow because why not 😂

That’s how I felt yesterday / the day before. They probably started to hurt from all the poking I was doing 🤣 I wasn’t sure if I was imaging it but they definitely hurt today when pressing, one more so than the other. But it is normal for me before AF so I’m not holding hope for that!

with my first daughter my boobs didn’t hurt during the tww which was an indication for me I could be pregnant because they were so sore every cycle before that. And with my second daughter they did hurt like normal during the tww which made me think I wasn’t pregnant that month so I was shocked to get a positive test then

Hi! 🤞 for you for this month
sorry to hear about mc in January 😢

did you use ovulation tests/strips?

Thank you!
No I've held off on those for now, haven't used before and kind of just go with symptoms and prediction. May in future if we don't get our BFP

Laughing at this because I was exactly the same this morning 🤣 looking at from every angle / light in the house! Couldn’t be any whiter😅

my symptoms very similar too. Extremely tired, but I’ve had a hectic few days, boobs sore when pressed, had cramps yesterday too and not feeling them really today

I’m also 6dpo.

sore boobs ramped up today and have a migraine too. A bit upset because I had a dream last night that I wasn’t pregnant, but I’ve been ttc long enough to know that nothing is a sign of anything and the body will do what it wants 😂. If this is my month then I’ll be happy, and if it’s not the right time then that’s okay. I’ve kind of let go of the outcome and enjoying seeing what my body does. As someone with PCOS I wasn’t even sure I was ovulating, so to see I ovulated this month, follow my BBT, feel my boobs get sore and headache arrive, it is just comforting to know that my body is doing it’s thing. I’m sort of here cheering it on 😂

my partner asks me every morning ‘what does the beep beep say?’ (My thermometer) and I tell him ‘my boobs are sore today’ and we look at each other giddy and say yay (previously he thought it was bad and said aww that sucks) 🤣 all that is really fun to experience with my partner.

i know ttc can be gruelling but I truly believe that what is meant will come at the right time, we just gotta keep watering the garden ☺️ Good luck ladies 💓

AG1993 · 16/04/2024 16:04

@Aisling1010 they never used to hurt but once we started to try it became a regular symptom which is annoying as that first time I genuinely thought it was a pregnancy symptom, our bodies really like to mess with us haha x

Love this attitude ❤️❤️

yes I definitely understand what you mean appreciating even getting a period etc! My periods have been extremely irregular lately only coming every 2-3 months, so lately when period came and I was getting sore ‘sore boobs’ etc I was so happy to see it!
