@OnePinkDuck not TMI, glad I'm not the only one with luteal phase constipation (usually) - I hate how bloated it makes me. What supplements are you on now?

I've had different symptoms every luteal phase for the 5 months we've been TTC - it's so stressful not knowing what each symptom means, so there's hope yet! I totally get knowing if you're out (I feel like eve try time I've been BFN I've know since 5ish DPO). Either way, I hope we're both BFP this time.

I'll test Monday as well then - it's before my birthday and hopefully we both get a BFP. If BFN then I'll crack open the champagne and cry a bit 🥲

OnePinkDuck · 24/05/2024 16:04

@ButItHasCheese fingers crossed for happy news for you on Monday. But if it is the champagne then make it an extra yummy one!! You deserve it!

love my follicular phase, all that lovely oestrogen making everything good (skin, mood, labido, weight)….. progesterone on the other hand…. Just makes everything yuck, I think I could get through the TWW a bit easier if it was oestrogen driven 😂

I’m taking high dose coq10 and Proceive max

I'm all over the place. We have had all the testing from fertility centre who have confirmed that all is well, just my BMI and thyroid issues that could be the cause. We took a planned break in April and haven't DTD this month either. Just haven't been in the mood. But I also haven't had a period since March so I'm CD 64 today 🙄. And just fed up with my body. I thought things were finally starting to stabilise and I could read my body a bit better but no period last month and so far this month, has just thrown me and I have no idea what's going on.

A bit fed up with it all. Sex has become a chore and that just sucks

Do u have pcos / might u have pcos ?

jellyfish2210 · 24/05/2024 20:03

@worldwidetravel2017 i had an internal scan and while there was one cyst on one ovary, there wasn't any mention of pcos. 🤷🏻‍♀️

If i was you - with a cycle of that long

Id ask your gp to test shbg
And free androgen

If your shbg is low
And free androgen high - it would point to pcos

I have pcos.
One transvaginal was fine
Another showed definite pcos
Things can fluctuate and change

Those simple bloods would help rule it in or out

worldwidetravel2017 · 25/05/2024 08:59

There was someone on here -, can't remember who - who was interested in hearing our feedback
Re the super drug - private - Male sample test
Its 185 gbp. But its easy to find a 10 percent discount code to bring it down a bit.
The test looks at 4 vital aspects

My partners results are back.
Many of the things they look at are okay.
However he does currently have reduced morphology...

As the test was sent away - its not quite as acurate as the ones done physically in a clinic
At an in person appt

Ive sent the results to our fertility clinic
Theyll most likely do a test there too.

Weight wise - now im on pcos supplements and meds - ive lost half a stone

I dont eat badly .
Pcos makes weight loss hard.

Cortisol potential issues arent issues now - had results from a hosp test linked to this.

Have a lovely wkend all

We do recommend the super drug test 4 males
As my partners gp told him they couldnt offer him an nhs test til Sept

Plus the private super drug results - you can send to a private gp or a fertility clinic

Looks good but very expensive. We’re using cheap flat headed syringes from Amazon the past couple of cycles. We ordered the Superdrug sperm test yesterday. I also ordered the hertility female test. My period is due 5th June so need to wait till day 3 to do my test. If I’m pregnant this cycle I’ll have wasted a load of money but I’m sure I’d get over it 😅

I used these and got pregnant on the second cycle, don't know if it was just my luck at the time, I'm going to use next month again when TTC, as I'm sure AF will rearrange it's ugly head tomorrow, I'm hoping not! 🙏

ButItHasCheese · 27/05/2024 02:12

So AF arrived early for me today, so no need to test 🥲
Suppose I'll crack open the birthday champagne early then...

OnePinkDuck · 27/05/2024 08:16

@ButItHasCheese sorry to hear that. But I hope you have a great birthday!!! Next cycle 🤞🤞

RememberZen · 27/05/2024 11:52

I'm confused, AF was due today, I had slight cramps and started coming on yesterday and then it stopped. I did a test and BFN, so I know it's not that. Really worried my period won't show now and that's a bad sign, I'm always on time, maybe it's just stress, I just wish the doctor would have listened to me when I said I feel different physically after the miscarriage. I know my HH tests will help, but I'm dreading the results now.

OnePinkDuck · 27/05/2024 13:08

@RememberZen It can be normal for a slow start to period, give it a day or two. Menopause doesn’t behave like that, they wouldn’t just stop suddenly so try not to worry (I know it’s easier said than done). Try not to dread them, whatever they show at least that’s a starting ground to move forward.

I had a shockingly low AMH on my fertility tests. I was devastated. But this AM I tested positive. Obviously don’t know yet if it will go anywhere, but it just goes to show that regardless of what the tests say you are still in the game!

I started taking proceive max about 3/4 weeks ago, and I know it’s meant to take 3 months to work but I swear that was what made the difference.

Thanks, I'm still waiting, had on off cramps all day, not like me at all, I definitely feel like there's something not quite right. Yeah, just me thinking the worst there, the one thing I feel most positive about is my regular cycle, so I hope AF comes through, never thought I'd be wishing for it to come on haha
Thanks, I appreciate your kind words and support!
I can imagine, I've heard lots of positive things about women still managing to get pregnant with low AMH, si I'm sure it will happen for you soon!
Oh, thanks for the information, I just switched taking regular folic acid to taking pregnacare, it has a lot more substantial vitamins in there too, can't hurt I guess.

ShieldMaiden87 · 27/05/2024 21:02

Please can I join? 36 years old, I lost a baby at 11 weeks in January and we have just decided to try again this month

ButItHasCheese · 29/05/2024 04:17

@ShieldMaiden87 sorry to hear about your loss, sending baby dust for this month x

Mrsspoon3 · 29/05/2024 20:07

@ShieldMaiden87 So sorry to hear about your loss. I lost a baby in January too, at 13 weeks, and started trying again this month, so in a very similar boat x

Mrsspoon3 · 31/05/2024 08:52

Help, I’m going mad haha. I think I’m 10dpo but could be 9, but I did a test this morning and feel like I can see a hint of a line. You can’t really see it on this photo but tried editing contrast on an app (🙈) and feel like I can see something, even though I’m 99.9% sure there’s nothing there and I’m going mad! Keep wandering round the house and looking test in different lights 🤦🏼‍♀️
How do you all cope with the TWW madness?? 😂

OnePinkDuck · 31/05/2024 12:06

@Mrsspoon3 i can also see something, recheck tomorrow, if positive should be a little more obvious then.
