Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

Thank you ❤️ we spoke last night and he was just being ever the optimist, telling me about implantation bleeding etc and I just didn’t have the heart or the energy to challenge him. I just knew AF was making an appearance and lo and behold this morning with full force. It’s the last day of my work trip and I cannot wait to get home, sitting in a hotel room with no one else knowing what you’re going through is awful but I honestly am so grateful to you and everyone else on this thread, it’s kept me sane this month and definitely less lonely.

I know I will keep going, I know we want this so badly it’s just today I think I need to allow myself to feel the feels and pick myself back up. I loved the post you made below, definitely need to practice gratitude and put things into perspective. 💕

@Dogscanlookup oh wow, congratulations, very clear BFP with a digital! So very excited for you and crossing everything that this is the start of a healthy and uneventful nine months for you. I'd say not to take those Proov strips too seriously, I've seen plenty of people say they had wonky results which suggested a major progesterone issues that actually turned out to be quite minor or non-existent.

@CoolSummer89 Really love that list of things to remember for Mental Torture Fortnight - perfect name for it! BFN this morning after I'd allowed myself to symptom spot and get a little excited brought me down but your post really helped to put things back into perspective.

@Dogscanlookup I know it's hard but please try not to automatically assume the worst, lots of women spot in early pregnancy. Tentative congrats and I've got my fingers crossed for you 🤞

@CoolSummer89 those are some fantastic rules for the tww which I shall join you in following. I'm also 1dpo (if my recent strip tests are to be believed), fourth cycle, 35 yo.

@emmatcc1 ooh, I think I can see a little shadowing though hard to tell - maybe try a more sensitive test for tomorrow? I think the Easy@Home are 10miu.

@ThingsLineUp I only have those I’m gonna try again Sunday with fmu if still no af.

Been quiet as my test have been negative so far I’m CD 2 (2 days late for period) and did a test this morning with easy at home an saw nothing at all, just done one and then another as I’m sure I se a faint line? Is this just wishful thinking or can you guys see it to? Be honest it’s ok! I’d accepted I was out xxx

@CoolSummer89 sounds very hopeful and great knowing that you have timed everything right and dtd a lot to maximise your chances!

I’ve been obsessing over this heart rate data 😂but tbh I don’t know how accurate it is. My first pregnancy I had obviously bigger boobs. MC I had super smell and nausea. The past week I’ve had heartburn (I NEVER get it) and slight cramping. 100% symptom spotting! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to not!

Ohh @Dogscanlookup tentative congratulations to you!! Fingers crossed just a wee bit of implantation bleeding or the likes. Let us all know how you get on!

Im late now too but BFN yesterday haven't tested today, had horrendous heart burn for a week aswell its driving me mad.

Please could someone tell me what you make of this. Positive opk this morning but this will be my 3rd or even 4th like this this cycle. I’ve got pcos so guessing my levels just never rise enough to trigger ovulation. So question is - does this mean ovulation is still on the cards or would the test show like this before af?

Oo thank you! So did you get positive ovulation tests like this before a positive pregnancy test? I’ve no idea what y body is doing!

@maybemumtobe the strongest I got was my line was almost equal to the control so mine wasn't even properly positive. I was testing twice a day at that point and wasn't at all sure what was going on

@maybemumtobe but to answer your question, yes my positive pregnancy test came after a not quite positive ovulation result. I must have missed it despite constant testing and assumed I was out for the month as I hadn't ovulated - I obviously had because I was pregnant

@ThingsLineUp that’s made me feel better actually. I think all this testing can sometimes make us crazy!

@Daniki just this! I just did a cheapie test but with the most diluted wee ever (it didn’t even look yellow…) and there’s no second line so I’m naturally freaking out but also not surprised and only an hour hold?! Also I’m only 13dpo today I realised.

@wintersun21 thanks that’s reassuring. About a week ago I gave up and thought I was out for the month but given my long cycles and positive tests I’m not giving up until af arrives. Hoping these strong lines mean something good! Are you currently ttc?

@Dogscanlookup defo would have been too diluted, no way a digital would pick it up and not the cheapie! If you can hold your wee for 4 hours or somehow try and wait for morning (forever away!)

@Daniki i know I’m such an idiot. I even knew before doing it. I’m going to wait until tomorrow. Then dip about 5 😂 I’ve already spoken to the doctor and should be speaking to the EPU next week but we’ll see what happens over the weekend

Oh that's great! Hopefully get talking to them sooner rather than later,typical it's Friday and they're closed over the wknd!
