Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

I’m going to enjoy my holiday, but if AF hasn’t arrived by Thursday I’ll test again then.

@LindyMoe have you watched the film mama Mia ? Whenever I get in a stress about it all that goes straight on, can’t be sad with Abba songs blasting hahaha

@Daniki I feel the same. Had a strong opk on 28th but ran out after that and then came down with a bad cold so didn't dtd after the 28th. So no idea if that meant I ovulated or not on that day. If I did then I'd be 12dpo and completely negative on tests. AF is due anytime but no feeling it's on its way. No bloody idea. Giving myself false hope I think by thinking maybe I ovulated ...1st or 2nd potentially could be 9DPO... no more tests left so I think that's a good thing!

@LindyMoe I'm 35 too! Don't be panicking, lots of women only have their first child around this age! Worth while getting your bloods done to check your hormones are all balanced etc, will take some of the worry away? Iv started taking NMN powder, has some studies tk show it reverse cell damage,ageing etc and has had positive effects on fertility

@ooplesandbaneenies literally in the exact same boat! I feel like mine might be coming tho think I had a speck of brown spotting after a wee earlier 😫

@Daniki @ooplesandbaneenies same here, I track ovulation through an app only and haven't been using it long enough really for it to be accurate. Had EWCM for about 5 days 😬 so anyone's guess when I did actually ovulate! I could be anywhere from 14-9 dpo based on start and end of EW... AF supposedly due tomorrow (as per ap) but still so much more CM than id normally have. Going to wait untill Friday if I've not had any sign of AF and maybe test again then!

@SummerSun24 hopefully you have good news 🤞🏻 think I had some spotting earlier so will see in the morning il test again 🤪 great to have so much of the EWCM I find I used to have loads but not so much anymore 🥴

@Daniki oh would that effect ovulation and stuff? Because my period is still like clockwork

@LindyMoe more so for improving the quality of the eggs. My periods are usually like clockwork but i have low progesterone, when I was getting the 21 day bloods tests to check ovulation my levels were never quite high enough!

Can I join please. Twin neonatal loss in November. Lost my beautiful identical boys 6 weeks before planned section. Hoping for a Christmas miracle this year.

@LindyMoe also 35... I've heard it's 37, but I'm on cycle 5 now and DC 1 was cycle 1

Oh @Daniki is this your second? Cos I do fine it's alot lot lot less than it was! It's lasts for a long time but by no means the same as it was, interesting 🤔

Also stupidly use normal lube not realising it slows sperm down just an FYI to other people who don't read the small print like me 😂 I did wonder why people would be paying so much money for things like pre seed hahaha

Morning I hope everyone is OK today. Still no AF have some cramps though so potentially on its way. Would like it to just arrive so I can plan the month. The last two cycles have been pretty regular -however when I fell pregnant with my daughter in 2018 I had a really long cycle and hadn't had a period for around 6 weeks. It was all very strange and my BFP was a complete surprise. We had been trying for a year. I have more tests coming on Thursday but I think it's very doubtful as we last DTD 28th as we've both been ill. Still holding onto a tiny bit of hope that I ovulated early March. When I had my CP last month I know exactly when I ovulated and had a faint line at around 11DPO.

@SummerSun24 yep trying for my second! Oh god I know I found that out too I was using the normal one but went and got pre seed then 🙈😂

Also tested around half 4 this morn, negative! But had been to toilet two hours beforehand , been going all night! Still no sign of af. Son is up since half 4, he has a sticky eye and has not let me sleep 😴

Hello everyone! Just catching up on messages. Hope everyone is doing as well as can be!

CD7 for me. Premom thinks I'll ovulate CD12 this month even though it was CD15 last cycle 🤔 I'm not bothering with OPKS this month either and just going to try and go by CM 🤞🏼

@LindyMoe ah man your message hurt my heart. I’m 35 Saturday and I had this moment of feeling my age, but as someone said on this group to me before it’s not a sudden decline at that age! It’s dependant on each person. Every month does feel like a year when you’re trying, but sooo many women in their late 30s fall pregnant, and older! It just may take a little longer, but good things come to those who wait.

@Ella31 im so so sorry to hear of your sad news. God I can’t even imagine… you’re in the right place here, lots of people trying and having suffered losses who can truly try to understand. It’s not something you can get over, but something you can get through! Always come here for a rant, we’re listening!

@pleurotus thats good to sometimes go off your own body! I don’t know why, but the last four months since my MC I don’t seem to be having EWCM. Everything else suggests I’m ovulating (PDG tests and regular periods / OPKS) but just not that! I use pre seed to help the little fellas get to where they need to go haha. But I’m concerned it’s an underlying issue?!

@Dogscanlookup I think that ewcm can vary massively from person to person. You might not see it but it doesn't mean it's not there. I read somewhere that whats important is the sensation so like if you feel wet then that's a good fertile sign 😅

I haven't used preseed but might also give it a go because I was also unaware of lube being a potential problem.

@Dogscanlookup defo noticed a decrease in mine since the miscarriages tbh! So strange, I use the pre seed as just nice to have that as me and husband nearly just prefer a quickie these days to DTD 😂 I really recommend it, like I'm on cd28 no sign of period and no sign of spotting, none of my usual PMS symptoms, I suffer horrendously with migraines and get a few around this time I have had one and it wasn't that bad! No sore boobs either 🤷‍♀️

Thank you. I found mothers day horrific on Sunday. Spent it at their grave. Have to keep reminding myself I have two babies , I am a mother, they aren't here with me that's all. But I felt like such a fraud leaving the hospital empty handed in November.

I feel some luck this month, clocks will be going forward, it’ll be getting brighter and we have a whole spring and summer for BFPs! BRING IT (just had a coffee and feeling it)
