Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in April 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of March to April ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

@CoolSummer89 that's true about the balance of what we tell our other halves. I told DH last month that it was peak day and the pressure got to him too much. This time because ovulation has taken me by surprise I've told him "just in case" haha.

@YorkshirePeridot when you say you didn’t have a proper period what were your symptoms? Sorry for the in depth question! My period this month seems to just have been brown spotting from 8DPO and now it’s stopped. So so strange! But my tests showed I ovulated.
@Daniki ah I’m sorry you’re having a stressful morning! So the faint lines are showing from the trigger shot? It’s so hard when it’s happening to your body to not notice and look into everything.
@LindyMoe really sorry today is rubbish… treat yourself to something if you can, have a cry if you need! Some days we just need to stick two fingers up at the world.

I've tested this morning and there is a thin line, it's much thinner than the control line, im not certain colour wise and was definitely there after 7 mins, is that typical for these tests?
I'm leaning indent but just so I know to keep my feet on the ground!

Got a positive test this morning at 11dpo on FMU and was so shocked I didn't know what to do with myself.
Just gone back to look at it again and the line looks alot fainter than it did this morning. I took another test with a different brand and that was negative but obviously not FMU.
Can you help? Do you think this still looks positive? I was so excited but don't want to get my hopes up too soon? Does anyone know what the chances of a false positive are ?

Hey ladies! Sooo I went and grabbed some clear blues to use incase AF doesn't arrive however I caved & took one & this has come up?? I've read these are notorious for evaps and false positives. I took the test, let it do its thing and there wasn't anything there so left it on the side, after a few mins went to bin and this was there. What does everyone think? Don't be afraid to be brutally honest

Oh hun I'm in the same boat with the 6 day earlier ones, I really hope yours is positive! I have read these clear blues are awful for false positive but I cant see how you can get a false positive

It'll be so frustrating if it's false coz I think I'd have been ok if it had been negative all along. It was so clear and my husband saw it too, wish I'd taken a picture straight away lol

No idea how I'm going to sit and wonder until tomorrow morning. I've just ordered some FRER from Amazon but doubt they'll arrive in time for FMU

Thank you! I'll be gutted if they're false positives. Yeah I would rather get negatives than get my hopes up with a false positive so I know how you feel.

I have one more of these but I think I may keep hold of it until the day AF is meant to arrive but we shall see 🤣 keep us updated!

@Newlywed24 I have heard of clear blue lines fading after the initial positive. Test again in two days but I'd say it's looking promising.

@Parcou25 unfortunately I don't think it's valid if it didn't come up in the specified time frame. CB are known for evap lines. Test again in two days and update us!

@Dogscanlookup I had three days of brown spotting starting at 14dpo. It was there when I wiped but there was never enough to touch a liner. This is in comparison to the previous month where my period arrived like niagra falls at 10dpo 😂 I had my implant out at the end of Dec so my hormones could still be whackadoodle but I figure that as long as I'm ovulating I stand a chance 🤞

@Dogscanlookup yea I'd say it's the last of the trigger, the test was basically negative! On the plus side if I get any lines from now on it just be a true positive 😂

@YorkshirePeridot ah yeah could still be your hormones settling but you’re so right, as long as you’re ovulating there’s a chance! I’m so upset with my spotting because I haven’t a clue why or what cycle day I’m on. I feel like I’m going backwards despite putting money into so many vitamins and tests.

I need advice! So I’ve bought the easy@home ovulation strips. First time using, and everything is in French 😂 I’ve downloaded the app, when you scan your pics in does it tell you if it’s a positive or not? And should I start testing now… my period skipped / had brown spotting in its place so I’m totally lost

Soooo I've since read the leaflet and it says anything over 10 minutes is invalid, I can't say accurately but it was definitely under the 10 minute mark

Download the premom app, and you will see there is a circle in the middle that says tests, click it and it scans your strip! It gives the reading for you so it tracks it all!

Also @Dogscanlookup there should be two instruction manuals in there. I think one is in French/Italian and the other is in English/German. I picked up the wrong one first too.

The app will give you a ratio/score for each test that you scan, anything under 0.4 is low. Anything between 0.4 and 0.8 is still low, but is increasing/decreasing in concentration and is demonstrated by an upward arrow on the calendar view. Anything above 0.9 counts as a positive test, and your highest score as your peak. So you want to keep testing after you first get a positive as you might have a high concentration later in the day/the next day.

Best of luck @Parcou25 do you have any cheapies that you can test with over the next few days. I think Boots have them, usually right on the bottom shelf in the least glamorous packaging so that customers don't notice them! Or you can get the easy@home ones from Amazon.

@Newlywed24 I think that looks very promising actually. There was someone earlier in the thread who had the same thing happen. Maybe try a different brand like the Boots early test?

5dpo-6dpo here... anyone else??? So desperately want this month to be the month :(( I know 8 months ain't a lot compared to others but it feels like forever. I thought I'd do it in 2 months.

@Parcou25 @Newlywed24 fingers crossed for you both!! Sorry if it's telling you to suck eggs but if you hold your wee for 4 hours it's as good FMU 😊 the time let's HGC build up enough. Just if you had got another test and wanted to try. I got a positive with clear blue with DC1 but this was after two other types of positive so really hope these are working for you!!

@starryx I'm 1 or 2 dpo I think ISH if that makes you feel any better 😂 be a similar time for testing when is your AF due? My cycles vary alot last was a 36 day one but some times there down to 25 but apparently says due 18th April so far

DH has my lurgery now so deffo out this month I'd say as not a very fruitful or funky shag week sadly!
