CD1 entering 3rd month TTC (next fertile window 8th - 17th march)

Would anyone like to join me on the TTC for March 2024

Going into my 3rd month TTC for my rainbow baby after a loss in 2007 at 7 weeks, I'm now 34 (35 in June) and TTC for our first baby with me and my DH

The last 2 cycles my body has played horrible tricks on me, so i have been keeping a log of my symptoms.

I'm not ready to do opks or bbt just yet trying to do natural and less stressful but did have 21 day bloods and day 3 bloods done and the results come back good, i do have PCO cysts in my ovaries and my DH has good sperm he had this tested last year.

Sorry to hear about your body is being a bit of a bitch to you, I had a cycle once 2 weeks late for no reason got me testing and everything and just decided to be late it did affect me.

I totally understand tracking can also be stressful as well i dont do it yet myself but maybe the ladys who can help advise how to make it less stressful

I'm doing the deed every 3 days from the period ending and carrying on until 3 days before I'm due

Weird question, sorry if tmi! do you count CD1 on the first sign of blood or is it when it's heavy enough to use sanpro? For the past few months I have a day of light blood on wiping only really, then it ramps up the next day. Is that day one or would it be the following day? Sorry, I always wonder I'm if out by a day or two because of this!

@Custardcreammachine I believe it’s the first day of full flow. For example, if I start on Friday night, I count Saturday as the first day. xx

@Emilyx00 all good here. Went to the gym for the first time in about 9 months yesterday which felt really good so going to try to keep that up! It’s really sunny where we are today (London) so going to try and spend most of the day outdoors. CD5 tomorrow so going to start on the OPKs. Ovulation for me varies between CD11-14 so want to make sure I catch it! X

@Emilyx00 I,m ok bleeding still but just spotting but did go in the sea just now and that seems to have made period heavier.

starting OPK testing today as per app to see when ovulation is but also trying to stay relaxed. How are you? xx

@Herewegoagain0 i’m in London too! What part are you in? Well done with the gym!!! I signed up yesterday funnily enough.

@Rosyposy26 Aww where abouts are you to be able to go in the sea? Hopefully the bleeding stops soon so you can start TTC again!

I’m in Suffolk so sea is only 20 mins away.

I’ve also started back running again was trying for another marathon but will just run for health now do not so extreme.

i cant really help with this as normally for me i start spotting but then get heavy as the day goes on, but maybe first day of the more heavy blood is cd1?

Im on cycle day 4 my fertile week 8th - 16th March

I'm going to do a barre amped workout dvd today, seems as though my period wanted to be 3 days again to like last month instead of 5 days like it used to be.

Looking into getting some herbal teas as well that are meant to be good for fertility

Im mid way through my period. Just enjoying having some wine and doing HIIT before I hit the OPKs again 😂

Morning all! Gorgeous weather up north too but I've woken up with a hideous sore throat, just hoping I'm not coming down with something that's going to affect ttc this month! Saw some friends last night which was nice, if they spotted that I wasn't drinking they were too polite to say anything about it.

Morning! I’ve also been enjoying some wine before attempting to cut it out next week - work is stressful so the wine is definitely helping at the moment. I used cheap OPKs last month but I’ve ordered some Clear Blue digital ones this month to see if it is more accurate at catching ovulation.

Not been sunny here at all today. I'm in ramsgate, Kent. Couldn't bring myself to go in the sea until its much warmer.
Currently redecorating my house from top to bottom, keeping me busy.
Wasn't going to use opk's this month but already know I can't help myself. Partner is away working a fair bit though so hoping it all fits in. Fingers crossed.
Good to see everyone has something to keep them busy.

we have gorgeous weather here too in Devon today! We went to a farm this morning with my toddler which was lovely.

I need my period to hurry up ladies. I’m so eager to try again. I’m between 11-13 dpo today so hopefully I won’t be waiting much longer. Who else is waiting for AF? xx

Hi all, nice day here in Coventry also been out for a walk and a hot choc. Currently day 3 of AF and fertile window begins next Sunday ☺️

Im CD4 normally my periods 5 days but the last 2 months have been 3 days so back on the DTD train tomorrow as we doing every 3 days from when the period ends again hoping to change it to every 2 days in fertile window through

Flo is predicting my fertile window opens on Friday and ovulation on the 14th but that will be CD19 so I have no idea where it gets this nonsense! Going to start my CB opks tomorrow (CD9) and see what happens.

I am booked on a retreat next weekend so really hoping I don't ovulate then. If I do I wonder if I can get away with sneaking in hubs for a conjugal visit 🤔

@UnicornPrincessSarah I think we’re trying the SMEP method this month so start OPK from day 9/10 then DTD every other day and then 3 days in a row from peak OPK. Did this in December and had a possible chemical, faint line a few times then nothing and period was 5 days late. But it did feel like a lot and my bf works long days so let’s see

@Adamsapple89 Oh that's interesting I have heard of that but never really knew how it worked, oh no chemicals are very sad.

Yeah was my partner who said he needed the 2 days in between to recover really and as im not tracking we have to cover a lot of dates works out we DTD maybe 8 times in the month, may not seem a lot im sure there people out there who do more then that but we use to go months without doing it so 8 is a miracle to me lol
