Would anyone like to join me on the TTC for March 2024

Going into my 3rd month TTC for my rainbow baby after a loss in 2007 at 7 weeks, I'm now 34 (35 in June) and TTC for our first baby with me and my DH

The last 2 cycles my body has played horrible tricks on me, so i have been keeping a log of my symptoms.

I'm not ready to do opks or bbt just yet trying to do natural and less stressful but did have 21 day bloods and day 3 bloods done and the results come back good, i do have PCO cysts in my ovaries and my DH has good sperm he had this tested last year.

@Rosyposy26 Hello and welcome to the March TTC Train sending you baby dust x

Thank you. Currently very confused started what I think is my period which happened on the day it should have come exactly a month after a mc. Though it’s very light watery pink and sometimes brown and clear stringy stuff so hopefully all ok and will ovulate this month. I did last month according to OPKs.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 01/03/2024 09:34

@Rosyposy26 Omg sorry to hear that not very nice, but I'm also going through the same thing my blood is paler than normal and also very watery, I just got my day 21 blood back for my progesterone and I have risen by 10 last month Jan was 36 this month 46 so got me wondering if I could have maybe had a chemical but will never know as I didn't test this month.

See I think I may have had that also as all the symptoms but then nothing. Hopefully next month I’m nearly 43 so know it’s going to be a battle but did fall in first month of coming off pill, so hopefully all is not lost.

@Rosyposy26 Last month was weird to as the period only lasted 3 days instead of my normal 5 and was watery again instead of thick and also had some big clots pass as well, are you keeping a note of the symptoms your body is showing so you can compare?

I am yes I’ve had alsorts this month and then it all disappeared. On days leading to period boobs were flat but a couple weeks before they were sore and nipples stung. Had a really bad headache wed and yesterday today that has gone. Has cramps also but never normally suffer with cramps or pain before period. Did a test this morning just incase it was implantation but BFN.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 01/03/2024 10:01

@Rosyposy26 That's good so you can look back on them for this month, Jan cycle I had pains right from the day ovulation ended and up to the day AF came, This month the pains come and go for me but they were different and have attached this month's symptoms in this thread.
wish i new a little bit more as to why my reading was 46 for progesterone I know over 30 confirms the ovulation though but anything from

all i can find is this During the first trimester of pregnancy: 11–44 ng/mL.

Can I also join please - TTC baby number 3. Started in trying in January and had a chemical on 1 February. CD1 was yesterday. Fingers crossed for lots of positive stories on here this month! X

Emilyx00 · 01/03/2024 12:04

Hi girls, I’ve seen some of you on the previous threads! Between 10/12 dpo and BFN’s with a few evaps thrown in. If I was pregnant I know it’d be negative by now. How is everyone xxx

Sorry to hear about your chemical when is your retile period meant to be and next period?

OP posts:
Herewegoagain0 · 01/03/2024 12:28

@UnicornPrincessSarah my chemical bleed started on 1 Feb and only lasted 2 days. Ovulated on 14 Feb (which is a few days later than normal as I’m usually around CD11) and then period started yesterday (usually have 26-28 day cycles). Hoping to ovulate next weekend and then onto the TWW again!

UnicornPrincessSarah · 01/03/2024 12:59

@Herewegoagain0 Did you test beforehand is that how you confirmed it was a chemical? as i tested 11 dpo last month and was negative then 3 days later AF came but started pink and was watery and then light red and water with clots but only lasted 3 days instead of the 5 so will never really know for sure if was a chemical myself but had a lot of symptoms in Jan.

I Ovulated 14th Feb this month as well had horrible pains that day and 15th

Think that puts you around the same sort of fertile week as me 10th - 18th of March

This month I didn't want to test till AF was late but she came on time but again watery and light red, and had different symptoms this month compared to Jan in the tww.

Herewegoagain0 · 01/03/2024 13:31

@UnicornPrincessSarah yes tested positive on a couple of tests and then never tested again until I Started bleeding (heavily) 2 days after my period was due. Test was negative then.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 01/03/2024 13:45

Oh no that must be very hard, when i Had my miscarriage at 18 i found out when i was about 5 weeks then lost the baby at 7 weeks.

it's a big shame when we never really know what causes a miscarriage so early on

Thank you I used cheapy ones last month will still use them this month.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 01/03/2024 16:23

@Rosyposy26 yeah if they worked for you just stick with them for now, as TTC can be costly if getting supplements and food to help body to

I know I’ve just bought second lot of Proceive max as that had good reviews for my age. I’m going to give it a few months and then see what the doctors say. I’m fit healthy so hoping my eggs are still ok.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 01/03/2024 16:29

@Rosyposy26

I'm doing individual supplements for now, but they look good

If you can i would maybe look at getting an AMH blood test done hoping to do this myself

Anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) is produced in the ovarian follicles and is used to reflect ovarian reserve (the remaining number of follicles within the ovaries capable of producing an egg).
The AMH blood test will indicate if your levels are normal for your age and is useful if considering fertility treatment such as egg freezing or IVF. The World Health Organisation states infertility affects 1 in 6 people globally, with 17.5% of adults across the world affected by the inability to have a child. Both high and low levels of AMH can impact on fertility. Measurement of AMH cannot determine how many viable eggs a female has remaining or predict a female's chances of pregnancy.
Typically, AMH levels peak when a woman reaches her mid-twenties and then decline with age, becoming undetectable post-menopause. A low AMH indicates diminished ovarian reserve and a higher AMH level indicates greater ovarian reserve; however, high levels can also occur in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Hi, I'll join 😊
CD1 today of Cycle 3 ttc baby #2.
DD was very unexpectedly conceived first month trying after a miscarriage which was also first month of trying so having failed cycles is unchartered territory for us (and makes me 1000x more empathetic to those of you who have been ttc for such a long time 💐)
We are also not tracking using OPKs/bbt etc but just being mindful to dtd every other day.
Hopefully lots of bfps from this thread come the end of March 😊🤞

Ginny2018 · 01/03/2024 19:23

Any opinions about dtd every day ladies? My partner is of the firm belief that more you try more chance you have, we tried it last month and didn't fall pregnant. He means well (it's not about doing it, he's usually not at all the type to want to go for it every day), and really wants to do everything in his power to make this cycle succesful. I instead suggested to do it every other day this cycle.

@icallshade do you remember what you did when conceiving your first?

@Rosyposy26 i use the cheapies too, i will now for cycle 2 and probably after that won't anymore if this cycle doesn't work..
