Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in February 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Jan to Feb! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

Well I assume I am out.....I thought I ovulated a few days ago but I had cramping Monday night early Tuesday morning then alot of EWCM Tuesday evening. DH did not want to dtd Monday or Tuesday. Sssoooo.....I think we missed the boat. We did did several times end-of last week and the weekend days but do not think that will do it. So I am counting myself out.

Ahhhhh @Noisinmaro and @babycandy you're testing so early, you never know til AF shows! Fingers crossed for you both, keep us posted!

@meepthebeep im using them for the first month, and im CD10 today! 29 day cycle. No smiley for me either. FWIW, I think those apps have my ovulation early... im going to keep testing, ive started now so ill see it through, because im interested to see what they say compared to what i think...

@MrsRandallFraser it could be, the TTW is so long and annoying isnt it. Id keep busy and stay very hopeful!! And you too @Bey

@RW269 how are we doing with cover all bases approach? We are now three for three, a full 12 days to go 😂

@ButterflySkies Annoyingly 2/3 😂 feel like our work shifts are against us ! Next 5 days are the mega ones so hoping to get every day in! 🤞 well done on your 3/3 😂!

@ButterflySkies yeah I tested 6 days early on a 6 day early clear blue are they not very accurate...I've 100% faith in clear blue🤔
Once I know I can move on in my head...the not knowing kills me...told hubby I tested he was devasted....but sure I just find the tww a mental killer....once I test and know I can move on....I've cramps since wayvover 2 weeks but tgey have calmed down now...I was cramping way earlier that usual I'm normally just have day before cramping...anyways will know in couple days....

Thank you @ButterflySkies, I’m the same as you, I’ve started now so want to see it through and get a smilie 😄 I’ve only got enough tests to see me till Tuesday, but Premom reckons ovulation will be Monday, so we’ll see. Flo says tomorrow which I don’t think is accurate, but things are definitely going in that direction, judging from EWCM.

Tested this morning- 8DPO/AF due Monday. BFN- not surprised at all but I've been so crampy I thought I'd be nosy. I'm 99% sure I'm a no this cycle so will just wait for AF and start a fresh!

BFN at 10dpo for me, which is when I’ve usually got a positive in the past so fairly sure I’m out for this cycle. Onto the next one and hoping for a better month in Feb!

Finally managed to hold a wee long enough to accurately do a Clear Blue OPK (4 hours 😰) and I’ve still got a blank circle, but when I ejected the test, there’s a clear second line there that’s getting darker each day, so at least it looks like things are on the right lines and I should get a peak soon 🙂

Hi Everyone 😊 have been reading posts for a few months but first time posting.
currently on CD23 3rd month TTC. woke up this morning with a pressure type feeling, same area where I'd normally feel period cramps. Almost like a dull ache? Has anyone had anything like this before ? Probably symptom spotting 🤣
I believe AF is due next weekend, used OPKs last 2 months to get better idea of my cycle but decided to take a month out of using them as found myself obsessing over them lol

Hi all, hope you don't mind me jumping on here. I'm on day 22 (of a completely irregular, long and unpredictable cycle) and I think I'm around 6dpo. I'm driving myself absolutely nuts with the wait and I feel like I need some fellow TTC-ers to chat to.

Been TTC for a year and a half now, had 4 chemical pregnancies, one miscarriage at 7 weeks and another at 10 weeks. Hoping 2024 is the year for all of us 🤞

@meepthebeep im a static circle still too! To be honest when the stick comes out it looks like one of their early tests with a really bad evap - blue ink all over the place 😂 cd12 for me today, but if i have a 10-14 day LP i could ovulate up to CD19... so I could well have another week to go 😂

@ButterflySkies I’ve just got a static smiley! No flashing ones in between, straight from circle to static 🤷🏻‍♀️ we DTD last night, should probably do tonight and tomorrow to cover all bases…?

To be honest, it feels a little less exciting and more like going through the motions since the MMC but it’s only our first cycle back trying again, so I think it’s bound to feel strange.

Do you have to hold pee for 4 hours for OPK? That's not gonna happen with me 🤣. Gonna start useing them for 1st time this month. Currently on CD7 so gonna wait till Monday.

Finally got my solid smiley on my Clear Blue OPK, on the day DH has a sickness bug! Now to hope he gets better asap and we don’t miss the oppurtunity!

@meepthebeep when I used the clear blue 4 day I went from empty circle to static, I also got no flashing smiley I used the boots ones last month, i got a line for one day only...Will use the clear blue this month once AF arrives......I'm only 2 months using ovulation sticks....

CD7 here.

Used the CB Advanced Ovulation test last month. Going to use the Easy@Home strips as well this month, more because they're cheaper.

I think I probably geared up for ovulation last month but then didn't ovulate until a week later. Blaming COVID for the delay. But with the cheaper strips I can test after the static smiley on the CB and see if the line fades or returns.

On track for a Halloween baby if we conceive this month 😂

I have to say this trial run of ovulation sticks is only confirming what i thought before... just another thing to obsess over, personally anyway, and i cant see what they'll add if we're DTD every or every other day... @Choc29 i think you have to be consistent with the timing and i think everyone gets their peak at different times of day, from reading previous threads...

@3/4 so far 😂 hoping to make it 4/5 tonight, next 3 days are the big ones so got my fingers crossed! How are you getting along with it? :)

@ButterflySkies we managed to dtd two days ago but today is looking unlikely. Wish we’d not had a day off yesterday now! Fingers crossed two days ago is good enough and maybe we’ll have a try tomorrow just in case!

Hi everyone, I hope I can jump in. I'm 2dpo at the moment, and on about my 5th cycle of TTC (I say 'about' because for one of those cycles I was sick and we didn't try much, so I don't know whether to count it haha). And I made an account because I need a place to vent. It's so hard to constantly be symptom spotting and overanalysing every little twinge and wondering if I'm pregnant but not having anyone aside from my husband to talk to about it (I don't really want to tell anyone in my life that we're trying). So I hope having this place helps x

Thank you! I wish you luck too! And yeah, exactly, I feel like it would add so much stress to feel like people in my life are expecting a baby from me soon.

One thing I can't get out of my head is that my mother also told me once that for all of her pregnancies, she knew right away. And that her breasts started hurting way before she got a positive pregnancy test. So now I keep feeling that since my boobs don't hurt that must mean I'm out? Even though I logically know we are different people and will likely have different experiences with pregnancy. I kind of wish she had never told me, I'm paying way too much attention to my boobs these days haha.
