Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in February 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Jan to Feb! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

I think AF may have just arrived 🥺. Very light and 3 days late. Ttc month 3 here we go. X

MilkyAndFluffy · 19/02/2024 20:35

@KittyFantastica @UKMummy2one thanks girls. I’ve done a FRER this evening after barely drinking today and a 5 hour hold and it was BFN so I’m guessing that was a false or fluke or something :( sad times!

I have my fingers crossed for both of you that your tests darken and have sticky beans 🤞🏼🩷 x x x

Anonxo · 19/02/2024 20:35

@Choc29 sorry to hear that. Sorry if I missed it but how are you tracking if you are?

Anonxo · 19/02/2024 20:37

Hey ladies 😊can I just ask who is at or about to start the beginning of the TWW

Yeah it’s one of those things that I feel crazy and confused about until it works out I guess. There’s a March ttc thread already I find it’s easier when there are people around the same stage

babycandy · 19/02/2024 22:04

Congratulations to all you with positive tests and sorry to those of you that have had their af show up.
I’m now two days late but no positive test for me.
I’m ever hopeful for those two lines though.

KittyFantastica · 19/02/2024 23:27

Sorry to see that the FRER was negative @MilkyAndFluffy. I still find those strip tests the most sensitive, though, even than the FRERs. I don't use FRERs and I find them less reliable!

MilkyAndFluffy · 20/02/2024 07:46

@KittyFantastica thanks for that info chick, I’ve heard a few people say they like these tests over the FRER’s and bonus that they are cheaper!

I have done another this morning and I can’t see anything so it must have been a false or an indent yesterday morning - it really got me cos it had colour in it argh!

wishing you all the best x

Hi @UKMummy2one, I drove myself mad with faint lines early on and resorted to SMU. My results were absolutely night and day in difference. I've attached a picture of my 16DPO pictures - top one was FMU and bottom was SMU after a 3 hour hold. I had a chemical last month so know the fear very well.

It's still early to be testing, but I can definitely see a difference in your lines.

Morning, ahh thank you so much for replying and sending this info over. I guess I just can't believe I've been able to be blessed again as have PCOS and funded this cycle myself without hospital monitoring, saw my one and only follicle (just like with my daughter) at CD16 23mm and ovulated CD19 .. it's just incredible to see those words but definitely need to calm down and remember every pregnancy is different and what happened with my first test wise etc is not going to happen exactly the same with 2nd.

FRER showing super super faint line, more noticeable after 3minutes though

YouveGotAFastCar · 20/02/2024 08:57

I'm so pleased to see so many faint lines appearing!

Not got one here, sadly... 11dpo today. Tested using the Premom pregnancy strips yesterday and this morning, but nothing, not even a shadow, so I think that's me out. For some reason, I was really confident this month, so it feels like a blow. Lots of baby announcements amongst my friends this week, too, which is bittersweet!

My period is due on Friday, so I guess I'll probably test again around then, but I don't have much residual hope now.

YouveGotAFastCar · 20/02/2024 10:29

I was wrong - very, very tiny amount of watery blood when I went to the toilet just now and I have some light cramps, so I guess my period is coming early. It's due on Friday. Gutted, so I guess I did have some hope!

NavySwan · 20/02/2024 11:03

Hey, I am 10dpo and have had sore boobs for quite afew days along with niggley cramps. I had a chemical in Dec also. I took a test today and feel I can see the start of a line, it could just be my eyes though

NavySwan · 20/02/2024 11:04

Oh I'm sorry it was an indent @MilkyAndFluffy, these things have such powerful effects on us!

I don't know if you know the trick with inverting pictures of lines and/or indents, but for the future it might help? I was convinced my first vvfl was an indent, so I inverted the picture and it glowed. Indents don't tend to glow like the control like and a BFP.

Just hopping back onto this thread... I joined the March one as I tested negative a week ago. However my period is now 3-4 days late... which isn't unusual as I have PCOS but it has been consistent for a few months now. Don't know what to think and I don't want to test just to get another BFN! No symptoms other than mild cramping and sore boobs- which is also very normal for me in the run up to AF...

It's still not here!! I thought it was but was just the lightest spot ever not even sure if it was spotting and now absolutely nothing. Negative test still and took an early response this morning. What's going on! 4 days late. Has anyone else been pregnant and not shown on any tests.

PenguinOnTheMoon · 20/02/2024 14:12

I'm 6 or 7 dpo and planning on testing on Saturday. FRER at the ready.

I might have felt implantation at 4.30am this morning possibly, weird fluttery pinching on my left side and lower stomach area more centrally. Didn't last too long though.

Have been feeling nauseous when I'm hungry, comes on all of a sudden and I just have to eat quite quickly. Also had light cramping for a few days on and off, but deep down know that's too early to be anything...but it's supporting my slight positive outlook on this month's attempt.

Anyone testing Saturday?

Me I will be testing Saturday.

Noisinmaro · 20/02/2024 14:23

I'm due AF Sunday so testing the weekend as well, I've 4 test in the press for the 5 days early....
No symptoms... apart from being exhausted but thats probably due to other factors.....
But put in 100% effort this month....

PenguinOnTheMoon · 20/02/2024 19:43

Rosyposy26 · 20/02/2024 14:21

Yay! Have you had any symptoms @Rosyposy26 ?

And what cycle are you both on?
@Noisinmaro

Noisinmaro · 20/02/2024 20:04

@PenguinOnTheMoon ha ha think I've lost count...since August I think...been on here since November maybe....some months we're out as was away for work or I was ill in Dec and Jan...all that jazz...last month was a proper effort....3rd month using the ovulation test, I did learn I ovulate earlier than I thought I did....so we dtd bit later than should have so changed all that up since started the tests....
Anyways trying not to think too much about it...

elarcoiris · 20/02/2024 20:16

@PenguinOnTheMoon @Rosyposy26 @Noisinmaro I’ll be testing in Saturday too. Will be 10dpo so AF not due until next week but on cyclogest so need to test around then to know whether to keep taking it or not.

YouveGotAFastCar · 20/02/2024 21:02

I'll test again on Saturday, but I've had negatives yesterday and today at 10 and 11 dpo, so I'm not confident. AF due Saturday. I've had the tiniest amount of very light pink spotting on wiping today, but it hasn't developed into AF yet - really odd for me, but too late to be implantation, I think.

I've got some slight hope because I had hormonal bleeding on and off throughout the first 12 weeks with DS... they put it down to me having a really sensitive uterus to hormones 🥴 It was super worrying at the time, but everything turned out okay. So there's a tiny part of me hoping it's just too early to test...

Think I definitely ovulated on day 13, though, I got positive OPKs and BBT showed it too.

Implantation can be up to 12DPO! Fingers crossed for you
