@Huriya hiya lovely! 20 weeks already! Time goes fast and a baby boy how exciting. Thank you only 5 and half weeks now so still feels unreal!

@Hotmalibu94 Hey! How are you and bub? How are you finding motherhood?

I think I'm the furthest along now! 38+3 today 😊 I've got a sweep booked in for 41 weeks, although my midwife thinks I'll probably go before then 🤞 I've got lots of early labour symptoms, but typically they're a sign that labour will happen in the next 3 hours to 3 weeks 😂 Back in the waiting game!

@etaketak1991 ahhhh exciting! You're not far away at all now! Hope little one doesn't keep you waiting too long 🤞🏻
Oh god yeah 😂 it's such a guessing game isn't it. I didn't have any symptoms though so I thought I'd end up induced at 42 weeks and then she decided to come quite quick at 40+6 😂
How are you coping with the heat etc? Must be a struggle 😭

We are good thank you! She's just the most precious little thing 😍😍😍 she'll be 4 weeks old on Monday which is absolutely nuts to me 😭 she's entered the fussy stage though so hopefully it'll peak at 6 weeks like the internet says and then she'll chill out again 😂

@Hotmalibu94 I used some of my mat leave savings to buy an air conditioner two months ago and it was a bloody godsend yesterday 😂 As this is my 2nd, I think the symptoms are starting a little earlier haha. Braxton hicks are definitely more painful!

Aw bless her. The first 12 weeks are really tough (for us it peaked around week 7/8), sending strength! Things were so much better by the end of those 12 weeks ❤️

aww 4 weeks already! 🥰 I’m a little bit behind at 36+1 weeks and recovering from a cold so not fun at all! And whoever said that braxton hicks don’t hurt must be a liar cause when it’s intense it’s like period cramps! Most of the time is fine but there’s times I get them so often and for so long!

had an appt yesterday and all good and got given the go ahead to attempt colostrum harvesting so I gave it a go and whilst didn’t get much yesterday today nearly filled the 1ml syringe which is still such small quantities but yeah anything is good.

work is so busy these days that i actually can’t wait to be off only 3 more weeks to go unless this one shows up early 🤣

@CatiaR oh bless you! Sorry you've been poorly. Hopefully you'll feel better soon! Not too long for you either! How exciting 😍 annoying about the Braxton hicks! I never noticeably had them tbh!
Well done for collecting the colostrum! 1ml is good, I could normally get about 1ml a day and by the end I had about 15ml or something. Ended up using it all when we were in hospital so definitely good to collect it if you can 😊

@Hotmalibu94 yeah I’ve heard lots of other people saying they never got any but at this stage I get multiple a day without fail and if I’ve done too much it will be quite consistent so much one time I nearly thought of getting checked out but it didn’t feel like labour (no idea how I’d know what labour feels like anyway 🤣) and a warm bath calmed it down.

yeah I’ll take what I can get, first time yesterday was only 0.2 ml 🤣 but today about 0.7ml and I’m only doing once a day to not stress out and hopefully I make these last till my next appointment and can ask for more.

that’s good hopefully I don’t forget to bring it with me but yeah all is ready to go pretty much so I feel as prepared as it can be considering I have no idea what’s coming 🤣

hired a tens machine that should come Monday so excited to try it out and make sure all works!

@Hotmalibu94 Honestly it's been a rough week. Our dog very suddenly passed so that's been hard on everyone. I got him as a teenager before I ever even met my partner, so he was my first baby before I was ever a mom. Between that and the broken foot I just need something good to happen.

What started out looking like my period ended up stopping after a few hours, so not sure what it was. It was more than spotting but didn't get as heavy as my period usually did in the past, but it looked just like the start of it. Maybe some kind of hormone reaction from having the implant removed? I wasn't specifically told that could happen but I've heard of it with some birth controls. So I guess we're back to testing at the 6 week mark if I don't have a real period before then. That'll be mid August so until then I'm kind of in limbo and hoping.

I got a nasty evap the day before AF arrived unfortunately. Cd4 for me today.

@CatiaR When the time comes, you'll definitely know it's contractions not BH! Last time I had runs of BH in the evening for a week, but when one night they converted into contractions it was very obvious what they were 😊 I've been having some contraction-level BH now and again this time which has been annoying haha.

@Camia It might be a withdrawal bleed? I was still having periods while on my implant so not sure there haha. Either way, hope things get moving quickly for you ❤️

Hello - question for those who tested a lot leading up to bfp- when did you get bfp

I had been trying to wait as long as I could possibly normally but when I got my bfp it was 12dpo

@NLmum4 Mine was 11dpo, I got a negative at 9dpo 😊

Also, I have news! Baby Helena was born yesterday at 6am after induction and a very quick active labour 😍 We're absolutely thrilled.

congratulations! Hopefully I’m next but as much as I’m uncomfortable I’m too busy in the next two weeks for baby to come early so hopefully bang on time 🤣

Hiya hope everyone’s doing well!

this one is giving me trouble and hope not wanting to come out yet but I’ve had so many contractions is actually insane. Midwives said not to come in as it’s not early labour yet but last night it was damn close (although without any waters breaking or mucus plug loss). Didn’t get to sleep a wink last night so taking last minute AL today and praying I can finish my assignment before they come out! They only need to stay in 4 more days!

it has slowed down a little bit and not letting go of the tens machine but very tired and threw up this morning to boot!

@CatiaR Exciting! Sounds like you might not have too much longer to wait 🤞🤞 Try to rest as much as you can too x

@etaketak1991 it has slowed down a bit which I’m grateful for. They still got two weeks left and selfishly I really need to hand in my assignment first if possible lol

@CatiaR Figures baby would wait until you really want them to stay in so you can get things done, then start causing trouble 😂 Hopefully you can get your assignment in first, but I'll be honest and say that sounds like exactly how I felt the last about 2 days before I went into labor with both of my babies.

I'm trying really hard not to be that person that obsessively symptom spots but I'm doing it anyway lol. This is TMI so sorry but for about a week and a half I've been having discharge that reminds me a lot of my other pregnancies, and for the last few days have just kind of generally felt off. No specific symptoms but not quite normal. I felt the same thing with my first baby just before I found out I was pregnant. It's not exactly enough to say anything and it might all be in my head but I'm starting to wonder. I got my implant out almost a month ago, in a few days, so I still have just over 2 weeks before I'm "supposed" to test and could theoretically still get my period in that time so I'm making myself wait and trying not to overthink it. But we'll see. Obviously it would be amazing if it happened this quickly but I'm not expecting it to.

Definitely in latent labour but this probably can take a while. Lost mucus plug here and there but this morning has a bloody tinge. Sitting in my bath as it’s easier to manage the contractions I’ve been having.

@CatiaR I know it's not ideal if baby comes soon but very exciting that you'll be meeting little one soon! 🤞🏻

@Hotmalibu94 its so much sooner it felt overwhelming but it’s been fairly slow so might be a few days or weeks of this? Who knows! I’m just trying to rest as much as I can and write a bit of my assignment here and there but it’s very low progress on all fronts 🤣
