10 DPO - should I just expect AF

Hi everyone,

as far as I know I’m 10 dpo today. Stark negative tests and I’m just losing hope for this cycle. Had some random symptoms but ignoring them as I don’t want to assign them as being indicative of anything.

with DD I had no symptoms and was a bit blasé about the whole TTC situation. This time I’ve checked for ovulation, tracked temperature etc and I feel like I’m a bit obsessed.

should I be expecting a BFP at this point? Got a negative today and feeling deflated. Anyone in a similar position?

My period was due yesterday, I got a BFN on Tuesday.
Today I got BFP.
Shocked 😲 to say the least.

Should say, we've not used contraception since MMC in June. Took 6 months to conceive that pregnancy. The pregnancy before took 6 months too.
Both happened when I gave up tracking and trying etc.

10DPO is a good few days too early

Implantation can take place anyway between 6-12 days, so at 10dpo there’s a possibility that any embryo hasn’t even attached itself yet. You’re not out until your period comes, or a negative test at over 14 dpo as long as you’re 100% certain ovulation occurred when you believe it did. Good luck.

AF Due I’m on Wednesday this coming week. Don’t know whether to just leave it a couple of days then re test and stop teasing myself? Probably will.

I've been testing since 10 dpo, didn't get positive until 14 dpo and then it was faint.

Im in the same boat, also 10 DPO and AF due on wednesday also. Also got a BFN and i feel as though im getting symptoms but not really sure now.

Hows your LH levels?

What do you look for testing LH?

Mine are all over the place, but currently sitting at 0.23. I read that apparently the LH levels go down but the strips mistake the HCG for LH so if your are pregnant, its meant to rise. But I've also seen posts where people levels were super low and still got a BFP, so who the heck knows??!!

@Isthisrealomgwow Ive had some symptoms but I have no idea if its even related. I've had the cramps, back pain, headache, spotting, indigestion, heart burn, name it and I probably have had it, but I feel like its worse because then you symptom spot.

It's like a no win situation. I wish there was a cookie cutter mould whereby everyone experienced the same thing so that we didnt have to do the 2 week wait, would make life so much easier haha

@Rainbowpeanut02 physically I'm fine, got loads of energy tbh.
Mentally, a different matter. Conceived date would have been when our last baby should have been born. Lots of emotions right now....roll on 24 weeks.

@Isthisrealomgwow Ohhh I’m so sorry for your loss. Yeah I feel as though physically I’m a bit of a rollercoaster but mentally I’m also all over the place. I had a MMC at the beginning of November, I found out at 8 weeks so I haven’t had my first period yet.

If it’s a BFN it’s fine I guess, not gonna lie I will be a bit bummed but I just don’t want to wait forever for AF to turn up. I feel as though this time of year also doesn’t help matters. Xx

@Isthisrealomgwow when are you next going to test?

I was thinking to test tomorrow 11 DPO but thinking to just have a break from any test and maybe resume on 12 DPO or 13 DPO but let’s see if I have the strength to resist! Xx

@Rainbowpeanut02 yep, I’m desperately trying not to symptom spot and it’s proving difficult. Trying the ‘if I cant see it it’s not happening’ approach; haha!! send help. As regards LH levels, I used my last one last night and (sounds like the worst excuse in the book) but my dog ran off with it the sod. He ran downstairs and I found half of it chewed up so the answer is unknown. NB don’t trust cocker spaniels with something so important.

@Rainbowpeanut02 this time of year is more difficult, Yes.
I tested this morning, again, and line was stronger. Told hubby this morning. He suffers PTSD due to our previous losses.

@EmmaLouu how you doing? Are you gonna test again tomorrow morning?

@Isthisrealomgwow i will totally test again tomorrow, I can’t help myself. Ridiculous really isn’t it?
I’ll let you know how I get on. It’s a lot of pressure, bloody hell. (Pressure I misplace on myself)

I only got my weak positive on 14 dpo! I'm now 15 weeks. Baby dust to you. Try not and test too early but I know that's easier said than done :)

@Isthisrealomgwow sorry; I just read read your message. That sounds so positive and exciting. I absolutely hope for the best here - sounds like you guys deserve it and that baby is so bloody lucky to have you guys. Hope hubby can feel a bit more comfortable soon; I understand it’s awful- the unknown.. I’m wishing the absolute best for you.

@Isthisrealomgwow I'm sure yur result will come out alot darker tomorrow. Ohh bless your DH. My DH was a mess when he found out about the MC, I think its such a hard situation that affects us women but also really affects our partners. xx
