Anyone TTC Dec 2023

Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

Anyone got any idea why I’m spotting on cd15? Not even ovulated yet I don’t think! Unless I’ve missed it

Hi all, I'm usually a secret scroller but can relate to so many of you on this thread so wanted to join.
I have two girls already, 5&3. DH & I decided this is the month we'll start to try for #3. Our first two weren't officially planned, we were very much 'go with the flow' so haven't gone through TTC before so this is our first time.

I'm 29 (30 tomorrow) DH is 33. I have fairly short cycles 25-27 days is the norm for me. I'm on CD 18 and think I ovulated on Dec 4th. Didn't use any tests but usually confident with when it happens which makes me 7DPO today and I've spent 90% of my free time this last week reading forums like this even though I know it won't give me a solid answer and resisting the urge to test! This TWW is so consuming!!

Im at my parents on the 22nd so I really don't want to do a pregnancy test there but my AF is due on the 24th!

@jossiwood ive been struggling with that this December…so far mine have been “im driving as have to be up early for…” and “I’m on antibiotics for a tooth ache, can’t drink on them” 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m such a bad liar too 🤥 😂

@ttcbabyno1x that's confusing?? Do you normally have any spotting?

@JHL93 welcome to the thread 😊 It’s stressful isn’t it & completely consuming! My other half tells me if I come off this forum then I won’t be so consumed by it & I half agree but thenI have also learnt so much from reading these threads! Fingers crossed for your #3 🍀

@Fawklight oh no that’s awkward isn’t it! I guess you could just wait until the time you are next home? If you don’t take any tests with you then you give yourself no choice but to wait I guess?? If you can be that patient 🙈 lol

@ttcbabyno1x I have read about ovulation spotting but would have thought you would have had this before if that was the case. The human body is a mystery!!

@4LeafCloverBaby I have those pink tests, it's just the deciding if I should take them with me. 🤣 I might end up doing that anyway because by that time I'll be dieing to know.

Does everyone get spotting from implantation? I've never been pregnant before but see a lot of people mentioning it but it's not a sign I've heard happens to people a lot?

I can't remember if I did with my first baby. I fell pregnant in 2020. I was irregular due to coming off the pill for a good 6 months and gave up recording symptoms.

I think some do and some don't. I guess if the egg is having a bumpy ride before settling you could.

8dpo and hate myself because I caved and tested. I'm so crampy and have a week to go till af still. I can definitely see something in person but not getting my hopes up it isn't an indent

I didn't in any of my pregnancies so not something I'm expecting to see this time either x

@Fawklight 😂🤣 I love the way everyone says “I will be strong this cycle & not test” & then by 5DPO they are 100% going to test haha. I don’t blame you though…I am determined to wait for a missed period but I have one test in my cupboard which I know I’m likely to use! Lol

My AF is due 22nd so tryingggg not to test until Sunday as my tests say 5/6 days before. But I'm itching to test already 😂😂

Probably test again tomorrow because I'm obsessed. Although got terrible cramps across my hips and down top of my leg so I'm a bit worried what's going on!

@rupertbear91 oooooohhhh 🫢 not meaning to get your hopes up but I have read somewhere that implantation can cause hip pain 👀
Do you usually get any cramping or leg pain pre af?

Question to the floor (there will be lots of these, I'm only cycle 2) and yes I know I need to switch my natural cycles mode, I just use it to log my BBT and get ovulation prediction.

I just noticed I had a spike from my normal 36.15-36.19c before OV, up to 36.51c on Saturday supposedly after OV, and it has started dropping since then. Yesterday being 36.42 and today being 36.37. So only a rise of approx 0.2c using today's temp.

I had really strong positive ov test 1+2 days before.

I'm now worried I didn't ovulate this month :( I've never not had a clear rise.

has anyone else had anything similar with BBT?

Oh really I haven't seen that one 🤞🤞 I do get cramping but just in the middle of my stomach this is weird. Obviously over active brain thinks this level of cramps means an eptopic or something 🤦🏽‍♀️

@elleaddams I'm not convinced I've actually ovulated either. I had my IUD out in September but with my last pregnancy it took 9 months for my hormones to work properly.

I've also had a constant temperature of 37.5 for the last week sooo either my thermometer isn't work or I'm actually sick!

Ooo that's really high. Are you using a bbt thermometer and doing it as soon as you wake up?

I had my mirena coil out 6 months ago and apart from the first cycle, I've been back to normal, my body got back into a rhythm, hence now we are TTC. this month I'm not sure I've ovulated though :(

@elleaddams might not be Anovulation…you may have ovulated but you just didn’t produce high enough progesterone from the corpus luteum. It’s the progesterone that keeps your temp high. If this happens again you could ask your dr for progesterone.
