Anyone TTC Dec 2023

Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

@Lowrilawson haha makes me feel better 😂 I’ve pains in my thighs etc kind of different than early period pain but I’m not holding out much hope for a bfp I’ve just got a feeling this month isn’t my month lol xx

@Babno3 I have the exact same feeling, it sucks just wish it was an instant thing like you know after a day aha. X

@Babno3 I'm just getting twinges like a tummy ache and a lot of discharge but I get quite a bit before my period anyway, it's just very hard to differentiate xx

Reeeeally bad cramps. Over every other month or even less. I was in agony the ovulation before I got my positive though. It actually kept me awake., just agonising pain from my right tube/side z

DH and I are on our 2nd cycle rec baby no 1, ovulated on New Year's Day so sat in the the currently. Not feeling very positive this month as for some reason I thought we'd be in the lucky ones conceiving first try! 😂

Just wanted to talk to people in similar situations as none of my friends/family are going through it atm!

@Riverstardust welcome to the chat 😊 You’ll receive a lot of support here! To echo @Lowrilawson it’s all consuming & no-one seems to understand unless you are going through it. I was so positive on my 1st cycle, thinking I was stressing for no reason & it would likely just happen first go…& then it didn’t 😂🤣😭 About to ovulate on my 2nd cycle this weekend & already feeling very negative 🤦🏻‍♀️Good luck with this TWW 🍀🤞🏼

welcome @Riverstardust we all try to be supportive in here and positive! i'm in my TWW now i believe i ovulated yesterday/Sun. I'm on baby #2 with new partner our first together - have a DD who is 9 now, im 36 😊 xx

@4LeafCloverBaby I know what you mean and a friend of a friend got pregnant after 2 months of trying and as much as I am happy for them, it made me sad which sucked to even feel like that about someone's pregnancy! xx

Hey @Riverstardust ! Welcome, you're with friends now haha - we all know exactly what you're going through. I hoped we'd get pregnant on honeymoon, but here we are haha.

All questions, worries, info is all welcome here, this is a lovely bunch :) This is our first time trying and we've been TTC properly (ovulation tracking etc) for about 3 months and then just 'not using any contraception' for about a year, but with gaps for travelling with work etc, so I'm counting it as 3 months trying haha.

I'm currently on my period and waiting for ovulation around the 20th Jan :)

Thanks All, have been looking at this thread for a few days now and from what I've seen, it's a nice thread to be a part of! So thanks for the welcome!

I think I'll start with the ovulation tests if our third try doesn't work, as right now I think clue is pretty accurate for me as I've been using it for 10 years and I get the symptoms -1/+1 day from the estimate.

My husband wants to do tests with me though, and has the mindset of wait until AF is overdue to test. But I'm impatient/anxious so I tend to obsess over things. So while it's a nice concept of finding out together, it's a struggle to test as he wants to do it together/only when we're close to AF.

Overall, I am hopeful and excited about this journey. Just wish the tww wouldn't feel like twice that!! 😂

so I caved and did a test this evening and this is what it looked like. Am I mad thinking there’s a line? I’m probably around 9dpo af due in 5 days. I think it looks more like an indent tbh. Let me know your thoughts xxx

@3ornotto3 @Lowrilawson ahh it’s weird, during the night I woke in totally soaked clothes so I figured my body temp must be up and I’m in a really bad mood with poor DH which feels like af mood 😂 so I will definitely update you all tomorrow 🤭

@Lowrilawson im really thinking it’s a bad test, took a wee hcg strip and it’s stark white lol 😂 I’ll test again in the am with fmu and hope for a clearer line lol 😆 are you going to test in the next few days?x

@Babno3 Awh well fingers crossed for you and I will in the next few days, it's been a weird one I usually have a lot of PMS symptoms but not this month. I went for dinner tonight and almost threw up but I'm on antibiotics for sinusitis so it could just be that. Very annoying xx

@Lowrilawson oh dear, nothing worse than sinusitis!! But you could be having pregnancy symptoms 🤭
@KittyFantastica i also took one this morning it was a Tesco test and it has a line on it this evening that’s why I took another and it has a line too, but then I took a wee hcg strip one and it’s just so white lol testing is so addictive 😂xx

@Babno3 My first was a vvfl on a test strip, did a digital that afternoon and it was totally negative. I tested with two more cheapies that evening after a 3.5 hour hold and both had faint lines.

The next morning, I tested again with the other digital and it said 'pregnant' plain as can be. I'm still having super faint lines on the cheapies, but I'm also finding I'm so thirsty that I'm drinking loads so my fmu is more dilute than usual!

@KittyFantastica oh how interesting! It’s mad how quick it changes isn’t it! I’m super thirsty and exhausted! So I do feel pregnant in a way! But again, could have just ate a lot of salt today 😂xx

I don't feel this is my month, my cervix has come down and is starting to open, getting ready for period in 5 days I think :( x
