Anyone TTC Dec 2023

Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

Well I’m on CD13 & due to ovulate on CD18 so Saturday 13th…starting to DTD this week every other day 😊 🍀

does anyone else get cramps or twinges around ovulation? my dark lines were last night and today all down my left side is crampy and twinging .. new to me as never had this before that i'd noticed!

@Cazzy87 it's different for everyone but I've always got it, it's the egg being released I think is what the cramps are xx

@Cazzy87 I get it yes! Lots of ovary twinges, I get it mostly on the left even though the last 2 cycles I have ovulated from the right as per the scans.

@4LeafCloverBaby and @Lowrilawson glad im not alone! hoping to dtd tonight and then AF due 21st ish i think, is anyone in the TWW wait now?

I’m about to be…..had my darkest line ever yesterday so ovulation predicted for today. At due 22nd so we’re in this together. Sending baby dust your way! x

We are twinning again @4LeafCloverBaby I’m due to ovulate Friday…if we assume my cycles are regular.

OPKs every day atm as I want to see for myself if I’m actually ovulating. They are currently very consistently negative with no obvious gradual rise!

I’ve messed up slightly and booked a meal out with my husband and brother in law on Friday, I’ll have to try and sneak in a BD post work and pre meal out…I have a 45 minute window 😂😂

I starting opk’ing yesterday & have nothing on the strip just a super faint line & a blank circle on the CB digital so my eastrogen hasn’t started riding yet. I reckon I’ll get the start of the rise on Wednesday.

How is everyone doing? @4LeafCloverBaby and @FantasticalCat are you guys OK? I feel slightly less mental than I did about it all last month, but only cos I think I'm out and I haven't even ovulated yet ! Fingers crossed for us

@jossiwood same hun haha, I haven’t even started temping yet this cycle 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just don’t feel confident at all…I think because I was so meticulous last month & it didn’t work!

Can I join this thread? I’ve been TTC for 12 months. I’m hoping December I may have concieved. I’ve felt odd, I’m 11 DPO. Big fat negative on my test this morning. AF due to arrive yesterday and hasn’t. So confused :(

@4LeafCloverBaby oh ok I didn’t know how many days before the LH would start to rise, so if yours hasn’t yet I feel a bit better!

@jossiwood I’m with you, defo less mental this month 😁 although I think I’ll start obsessing when I get to ovulation time. What cycle are you on?

💕 we try for every other day normally. I usually have grand plans of dtd for three days in a row once I’ve got my peak but it never really seems to happen that way. Either DH working late, I’m too tired or kids up through the night 🤦‍♀️ however…..this time we have managed Saturday, Sunday and I’m hopeful for tonight 🤞this is currently what my chart looks like.

@Alh96 of course you can, welcome to our lovely thread 😊 That a bit strange isn’t it 🤔 Are your cycles regular?

@4LeafCloverBaby yes they have been, it’s very unusual. Just continue to hope one day I’ll be lucky enough to see a positive.

@Alh96 do you know how long you luteal phase usually is?

@4LeafCloverBaby it can be from 9-12 days. I ovulate quite late in my cycle.

@Alh96 having a short luteal phase can cause fertility issues. Have you taken any supplements took lengthen it at all? Mine was 10 days & I’ve been taking Vit B Complex, Vit D, Vit C & it’s lengthened to 13 days now. Might be worth a try if you haven’t already 🙂

@4LeafCloverBaby Thank you. I was taking Proceive plus. I have stopped as been taking for 12 months and not felt the benefit. Do you take those individually or is there a combined supplement at all?

@Lowrilawson you must be exactly the same as me, I’m 6/7 dpo today also and full of pains down below like wee twinges etc feels like early period pain. Took a test because I’m a mad hatter and knew it would be negative but wanted to make sure I wasn’t having another chemical so happy in one way sad in another lol when are you going to test?x

I take them separately as the combined pills don’t give a high enough dosage of some of them. You should definitely be taking folic acid as this helps the cells develop, it’s in the B complex. I will add pics of the vits I take x

@Babno3 ahah I'm the same I tested today obviously negative but I have hundreds of cheapies lol, I'll do it every other day I think so day 9 then day 11 and see xx
