Anyone TTC Dec 2023

Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

I'm cycle 1 and 1DPO so just starting the 2ww.

I have a little boy who is nearly 2, it took 3 cycles to conceive last time, though I think I missed my ovulation the first 2 months!

Last time I tested positive on 10DPO. I think I'll test 10-12 DPO this time. I used to say I'd just wait and see if AF shows but I don't like that it could just show up at any point (like at work!).

@Daisyrobin123 welcome to the thread 🤗 I usually am in awe with people who keep testing well before the AF due date. I just wait for the AF date to test.

Hello all, I’d love to join this thread. First time I’ve ever done anything like this on a forum kinda thing! I’ve already got a little boy he’s 5, I was 24 when we conceived and it happened so quickly (hardly tried!)

we tried last month for the first time for our 2nd baby and I unfortunately come on 4 days early. But it was a lot of clotting so I feel like it could have been an early miscarriage as a few days before it I had a lot of ‘pregnancy ’ symptoms and definitely had implantation bleeding. Then they just disappeared with the period.

so my next ovulation date is the 8th but my flo app tells me the window starts from Monday 4th. I’ve also bought ovulation sticks so absolutely praying for it this month ❤️

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me joining. Cycle 4 of trying for me and super strong OPK for me today. Hubby is out in his Christmas work night out tonight though so sat here panicking he's ruining his sperm with alcohol 😭

Unpopular topic I know.
I ovulated mid November and had massive cramps on one side so did another ovulation test yesterday and again this morning. Both positive! Pregnancy tests faint almost invisible lines. Question has anyone tested via ovulation stick and turned out it picked up the smallest amount of hcg (,which I know is possible) but ended up pregnant

We aren't a couple to DTD every day normally.... what does everyone recon peak was yesterday do we need to do it again tomorrow? Here's my chart

Looks like my chart won't post 😂 we DTD every other day since the end of my period. Then on peak day yesterday and today. What does everyone recommend?

I’m honestly not sure about the DTD timing. Have read such conflicting info.
We DTD day before my peak and day after but not the day of. Not sure if that’s enough or not!
I don’t temp so don’t know if Ovulation is 12 hours after my peak or longer 🤷🏽‍♀️

@brbttc @Sez281 @ThelastRolo20 how are my TWW buddies doing? 😊 2 or 3 DPO today for me. Can’t help the symptom spotting already. With DS1 I got a BFP at 8 DPO so will probably do an early test on Sunday.

@MaybeBaby2024 hey! Not too bad 4DPO today but going to try and hang on until AF is due or the day before (so 13 or 14 DPO). Exciting that you're going to test this weekend 😍

Hi @MaybeBaby2024 3/4 dpo here depending on whether I go by opk or bbt. I'll probably use the earlier date to test the weekend also 😂 I usually only have a 9/10 day LP so I'm going to try and hold off till Sunday. Had a few dizzy spells today and felt a bit nauseous but think I'm just coming down with something as it's way too early for even a hormone surge. I hate this week of no man's land 😣 Hope everybody else doing ok x

I feel so strange posting here, my first ever post. We have been planning to start trying for seven months now but had to hold off due to a few different reasons. We’ve got the go ahead now, but I can’t really talk to anyone about it, so hoping to feel a little less alone once we get under at.

I’m 35, my husband is 37, and this will be our first cycle so I am feeling the pressure of the clock tickIng intensely. I don’t ovulate until predicted 24th, so it’s falling at the worst imaginable time this month 🫣

Hi all - im 36 and ttc baby #2 with new partner who is 34 (have DD who is now 9 with my ex) and will be his first baby! im so impatient which is terrible and have been doing some OPK CB digital ones, due AF on 12/12 and have dtd every 2 days when i thought i was ovulating! it is so hard waiting...

@KittyFantastica welcome to the group. I’m in a similar situation to you, I’m 37 & until a few months ago though I was happy without children until my 37th birthday & I had a near on mental break down as realised I might have left it too late & I do want a child! 😂🙈
Im due to ov around the 15th. Christmas Eve…that will a fun conception date 😊🍀 Good luck to you!

@rupertbear91 I've read online that with som people it can take 48 hours to get the spike & also they look for your temp to increase .3 Dod you do any OPK’s?

Oh really that makes me feel better. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. Yeh I track with clear blue and easy at home. Had my strongest Ever peak on Saturday so was pretty disappointed with my pathetic bbt rise so far 😂

@KittyFantastica 24th could be a fun ovulation date! Just remember it's the few days before that matter the most! Are you going elsewhere for Christmas or staying at home?

@Cazzy87 the waiting is really hard, we're around the same time. AF is due on 14/12 for me. As 4leafclover asked, are you an early tester? I'm trying to hold off but not sure how long the will power will last when we get into next week.

@4LeafCloverBaby i will try to wait if I can. It has been weird CB digital didn't give me any static faces but had 14 days of flashey faces but had the symptoms of ovulation ie mucas etc and cheap OPKs had 2 positive lines so not sure what to expect ...

@ThelastRolo20 I try not to be an early tester so will wait and see if I'm late but only on cycle 2 since coming off the pill for years

@Cazzy87 hmm that is weird isn’t it?! But I would trust your body…cb can get it wrong I’m sure. If you have been tracking & you know the ovulation signs then trust that your know your body better 😊👍🏼🍀
