Anyone TTC Dec 2023

Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

Tomorrow morning I will be 10DPO and also 5 days until potential missed AF

I have been super emotional (just cried throughout the entire of the strictly final which is unlike me) have sore breasts and had twinges which almost feels like a stitch across the past few days on and off. Either pregnant or about to have one hell of a PMS week and period 😂

Got some extra clear blue early tests to take in the morning - wish me luck 🤞

@elleaddams I’m 9dpo today too with af due on Thursday, and have felt the exact same as you. Very emotional, tender boobs at the side and so aware of my nipples haha, and crampy tummy. I got a positive digital tonight on the clearblue 6 days early digital, so keeping all my fingers crossed for you in the morning 🤞🏻

I actually am sitting on the sofa now with cramping so I'm just so unsure! It's a few days earlier than usual so is it early period cramping or implantation cramping? I guess tomorrow I'll find out 😂😂

@elleaddams I’m so crampy, I don’t remember this at all with DC1. I’m telling myself the little embryo is burrowing in there good and strong, before my anxious brain tries to tell me otherwise 😂

Did my early clear blue test 10DPO / 5 days before missed AF and BFN :(

@elleaddams Aw sorry to hear it! Don't worry - we've all been there <3 It's never nice to get a BFN.

@elleaddams 10dpo is still very early though - especially with a blue dye test.

AF is due Wednesday /Thursday so would have though it may detect it with an early test. I'll do another in a few days

What's the difference between blue dye tests and pink ones?

@elleaddams I personally think it is easier to see an early line on the pink tests. Just find it clearer.

Hmm so I started using the clear blue digital advanced ovulation tests yesterday. Incase anyone doesn’t know, they detect two hormones, estrogen and lh. The estrogen rise happens before the lh peak, so when the test detects estrogen rising it gives you a flashing smiley face to say your heading towards ovulation. They say this can happen five a days before your peak. Then you get a static smiley face when it detects you lh rising.

I’ve just taken it again today and have a flashing smiley face. However, I predict I’ll get a static on the 22nd, and will ovulate on the 23rd, so was intending to start dtd on Tuesday the 19th every day until the 24th. Now I’m a bit thrown! Do I start dtd today? I don’t want us to get close to ovulation and both be burnt out from dtd! Or do we start dtd tomorrow a day earlier to cover bases?

I can’t imagine I’ll ovulate earlier than the 23rd as that’s cd 13, and most months I ovulate cd14/15.

So still no AF ...CD 34 and haven't got any more pink line tests left to do only 2 sainsbury's ones which I'm trying to hold out to use... it's either a missed AF , I'm pregnant or AF will come but super late... has anyone experienced a missed period and should I be worried? 😔

So today is AF day and it's here :( oh well try again next month and at least I can have a drink for Christmas! xx

@elleaddams ahh I’m sorry to hear that. 10dpo is still really early though so fingers crossed. My line is a little lighter this morning than last night’s so I’m currently trying my best not to spiral.

Same for me today. Absolutely gutted but onto next year now!

I'd start every other day from today until you get your LH peak and then I'd have sex for 3 consecutive days.

I always prefer to have sex every day in my window. I have always suspected that I ovulate the same day I get a positive LH strip as the very next day my test is blank again and all symptoms have gone. So if I only dtd every other day, I suspect I miss the main days as those extra 2 days I've possibly already ovulated! If that makes sense? I think I will start DTD tomorrow and we'll just dtd every day for a week! :)

TTC No. 1 and on third month of trying. AF is due 24th December. Would be the best Christmas present to get a positive this month. Good luck to everyone! Glad to see there are already a few positives.

Hi ladies, got some very light brownish spotting today and minor cramps in the lower abdomen.

Usually AF likes to appear in full force so spotting is unusual for me - technically 5 days til I’m ‘due’. Is it possible I’m pregnant?

I thought I was out for the month and had a few drinks on Friday night….I’m now panicking!

Hi everyone, so I’ve had two positive digitalis and loads of new darker tests the past few days and now I’m bleeding today proper red blood, af is due tomorrow. Does this sound like an early miscarriage 😔x

@Babno3 I have read stories of people bleeding like that and gone on to have healthy pregnancies. In my own case that's what my early miscarriage was, I had positives and then was bleeding but it was noticeable clots, mine was also 6 days before AF so not sure whether it sounds like a miscarriage or a chemical. Could be completely different and could just be an irritation in your cervix, lots of love and baby dust to you, I'd ring the doctors xx

Hi everyone, I’ve been a lurker on this thread, thought I would take the plunge and join in if that’s ok! I’m on month 3 of ttc baby number 1. i know that’s no time at all really but feels like forever and I’m irrationally worried about why it’s taking some time! I think I’m 2 days post ovulation, AF due 30th - hoping for a New Year’s Eve BFP (if I can hold out that long to test which is unlikely)!
