Anyone TTC Dec 2023

Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

My “should know by” date is Boxing Day 😻😻 eeeeek

we we’re umming and ahhing over trying for a third, and literally towards the far end of my ovulation we decided to say “fuck it” (excuse the pun) 😂

So, not holding out a huge amount of hope as we might have missed our window, but equally, what a lovely Christmas/Boxing Day treat it’ll be to get a positive 🥹🥹

@4LeafCloverBaby my af is due 23rd unsure when I could know by like the 20th? I'm 7dpo now x

@4LeafCloverBaby CD32 now and no sign of AF still but holding off testing as keep getting disappointed by BFN.. may test Monday again and see as i've never had this long a cycle before 🤔but as i say i didnt test positive until 2 weeks late with now 9 year old

I wanna test right now but I’ve literally only just ovulated so got a loooong wait ahead of me 🥲 I had THE most painful ovulation pains though, I don’t think I’ve ever had them that intense. Has anyone else experienced this? Felt like someone had their hand in there just twisting my tube off. We did have sex the night before though which I don’t think helped having it prodded. But fuck me the pain was intense for that night/next day

Can I join?
Looking to start TTC number 2 this month. I had my DD in 2021 when I was 31. After a traumatic birth with her and finding newborn stage hard I wasn't sure if I wanted another but we have decided we do want to try for another. I conceived second month of trying with her but now I am 34 I have convinced myself that it will be a lot harder this time around. I am due to ovulate around Christmas day this cycle so trying to feel the festive vibes.

Welcome @Mummysparrow & good luck for your festive baby dancing! ☺️ It’s hard to get bogged down with the over 30 fertility stuff isn’t it but a lot of these ladies have made some good points about it being a bit of an outdated view on things. Here hoping! 🤞🏼🍀

Tentatively joining. I got my peak late last night so am ovulating today.

Trying for our second and this is cycle 4.

We have had sex every other day since Monday and are going to try to today and tomorrow.

I'm driving myself a bit crazy with ovulation testing and know it will only get worse in the TWW!

If it makes you feel any better I had my first just before I turned 39 and am trying for my second just as I'm about to be 43!
Mid 30s seems like the perfect age to me!

This makes me feel better! I hope I still have time - I’m 36 and not actively trying yet (we were but decided against right now due to mat leaves / giant mortgages)

i came on thankfully! Thankfully given I’ve had an event every day and the poor baby would be soaked in alcohol 😂 But think I will seek a referral - my cycle is now 21-35 days which is very weird. It has been 30 days on the dot up until September and I completely not stressed (was travelling a lot to the far East) xo

@Toppstiles I know so many women who have had babies when they are older. My sister had her first at 38, my cousin is currently pregnant at 38 and a woman I work with had her first at 41.
I had a loss in July and the midwife told me that they are increasingly seeing women in their 40s having babies.

I think the absolute earliest I can test is 27th December. I'll be 10 dpo then and have had positives at that stage before.

@Toppstiles I waited until my Christmas events were out of the way for this reason as there has been a lot of drinking 😂
My periods used to be 28 days pre child but since then they are all over the place. It is generally between 31 and 35 days but I have had some earlier than that at 28 days. I am not sure if it is something I need to be worried about with such a big variety of dates

@everhopefulagain sorry to hear about your loss. It’s encouraging to hear of success stories - maybe there’s hope yet….
