Anyone TTC Dec 2023

Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

@Babno3 thank you - I do feel calmer about it. It's there and it's darker. These tests aren't an exact science. Also when I had my miscarriage I found they decreased veeery slowly so assuming I do the same the other way around! AF due today/ tomorrow but given the line I'm assuming it's not going to turn up 😂

Haha thanks @elleaddams I will! But like I say, after tomorrow I'm not doing anymore testing. Then just need to decide if I'll have an early scan or not 😅

@ThelastRolo20 last time I had a private scan at 9 weeks but don't think I will this time. At what point do you ring the doctors to tell them?
I felt really awkward ringing them last time wasn't really sure what to say 😂

I've been getting heart burn, light cramping/twinges and back pain.

My friend thinks I might actually be pregnant but I don't want to get my hopes up as although I had a dark LH, I'm really not convinced I actually ovulated. I think my hormones are still all over the place.

@Mummy2823 I don't actually tell my doctor, I just do a self referral to the local maternity unit 😊

So after all that said I’m now 10 days late for my period. I don’t think I’m pregnant because I thought I had a period the week / 10 days after I ovulated. It was definitely period-y!

I’m also concerned because if not pregnant which I don’t think I am (just don’t) it means my cycle has suddenly gone crazy after a year of being very regular to 30 days! Ironic as we just start trying

If it hasn’t come by the weekend I will do a test (but I’m slightly concerned if so as I’ve been drinking every day poor thing 😂) I just don’t think I’m pregnant - more concerned my periods have gone crazy. I don’t feel like I have any systems other than sore boobs - I don’t even have any pre period symptoms. All very weird.

@ThelastRolo20 lucky you! Not able to do that here. I just rang the doctors, said I was 5 weeks and they said ring back at 7 weeks. I said last time I was pregnant I rang at 4 weeks and was given an appointment for 8 weeks and she just said ring back at 7 🙄
Useless.

@Mummy2823 oh that's not helpful. To be fair I referred a couple of days ago and I haven't heard from them. Busy time of year I imagine - will chase up if I've heard nothing by 6 weeks!

Think I might be out this month. Lots of cramping and brown spotting today. And BFN 😔

Hey! TTC here, been off contraception and casually trying for just over a year, but actively TTC now for the last three months. AF is actually 2 days late today 😬but got a BFN yesterday, so going to wait a day or two to test again as I have a short (but regular) 25-27 day cycle, so I'm jus hoping that it's a BFN because of the short cycle!

Seeing all the BFP's made me impatient and I tested. Even though I know I'm only 8/9DPO and still have 6 days until my period is due 😣 why do we put ourselves through it?!
anyways a BFN as expected but still have some hope for testing next Tuesday when I'm due on, my cycles are like clockwork and never longer than 26 days. DH and I are going out Saturday evening (child free!) for birthday celebrations and was planning on drinking but in two minds about it. Did you drink in the TWW? Guess there's no real right or wrong answer just curious as to what everyone thinks

@Lowrilawson well…I got my positive opk yesterday which is a day earlier than normal, a welcome surprise! So DTD lastnight & will tonight & tomorrow & then it’s the dreaded TWW 🤦🏻‍♀️ & I should know either way on the 27th! So scared haha

@Lowrilawson absolutely! So when is AF due for you? Or when are you going to test?

@4LeafCloverBaby so AF is due in 4 days, I had another pink tinged discharge this morning tiniest amount again and now it's gone again, my cramps are still there and I'm finding im getting twinges like down my right and left sides from like ribs down to pelvis, very odd but in my head im getting my period and anything else would be great but not sure and think im day 8 so I'll try testing at 10 maybe xx

@4LeafCloverBaby I'll be honest I did a cheapy this morning just to see but nothing there I don't think I know it's early but it scratches the itch to test ahah when I test I always feel disappointed so I try not to, too much! x

@Lowrilawson fair enough, I’m dreading that. I purposely have no test in my house because I know i will have no will power! Lol
