Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

Jumping on again, very odd. I got a strong opk 8 days ago and did what you do. Experiencing some minor sharp pain in my boobs every now and then. I've had a lot of discharge this month and this evening had a sharp pain horizontally from the right side of my abdomen to my pelvis, felt odd. Just been to the bathroom and my discharge has the lightest pinky tinge to it so not sure if it's implantation or AF coming considerably early. I hate waiting!!! Have had some minor cramps too, knowing my luck it's just AF coming!

4LeafCloverBaby · 12/12/2023 21:05

@Lowrilawson you’re around the right dpo for implantation 🤞🏼🍀

Lowrilawson · 12/12/2023 21:11

@4LeafCloverBaby that's true although I'm not getting my hopes up😹 it's the tiniest pink have to really look to see it! All I'm craving right now is popadoms, almost cried when I couldn't find any in the shop😹 never understood with implantation cramps whether they are on one side or in the middle!

4LeafCloverBaby · 12/12/2023 21:18

@Lowrilawson popadoms 😂😂 bless you. From what I have read implantation cramps are usually in the centre of your uterus, it’s not actually where the egg implants as most people assume, it’s actually the whole uterus just cramping up

Tiffany88 · 12/12/2023 21:19

Dunno if it's just me symptom spotting but it's driving me nuts now every little thing I'm like Ooo that could mean I'm pregnant 😂 the worst part is I'm like 3dpo 🙃

Lowrilawson · 12/12/2023 21:23

@4LeafCloverBaby yeah mine has been one side then the other then the middle then one side again, and had back ache since Sunday, bizarre but time will tell, @Tiffany88 I was like that for the first 3 months but I've calmed down now, not thinking about it so much and keeping busy! x

Tiffany88 · 12/12/2023 21:25

@Lowrilawson I didn't think I would be like it tbh I do find it do it more when I'm bored I need to keep my self distracted x

FantasticalCat · 12/12/2023 21:25

@4LeafCloverBaby Woohoo it’s go time!!

I’ve been DTD every other day for last 11 days or so, technically should go again tonight but I’m exhausted!

First time without contraception and I felt really nervous, but got into the swing of it now so I hope all goes well 😉😆

0 positive OPKs for me and I’m now on Day 24 of my cycle. Feeling super moody and I’m quite spotty so tbh I think I’ve missed my window this month.

Period usually appears any time between day 28 and day 48, but hoping I know either way ASAP!

4LeafCloverBaby · 12/12/2023 21:28

@FantasticalCat do you usually have a certain CD that you ovulate or just all over the place? I guess if you are DTD every other night then that should cover it regardless??

FantasticalCat · 12/12/2023 21:35

No idea yet if I’m actually ovulating unfortunately. I get EWCM sporadically. GP basically told me to come back in 4-5 months if I’ve not got pregnant by then and then they’ll run some checks, so for now the advice is to DTD for the entire cycle length but that is proving tricky as my husband works abroad once a month or so!!

From what I’ve read, OPKs and BBT are pretty unreliable for PCOS and the best indicator is EWCM, but I haven’t had any this month ☹️

4LeafCloverBaby · 12/12/2023 21:40

@FantasticalCat I understand that with PCOS there is no pattern to your cycle but how can BBT & OPK be unreliable? What difference does it make if you have PCOS? Just curious as not heard that before

Lowrilawson · 12/12/2023 21:44

@Tiffany88 it will settle, trust me! xx

FantasticalCat · 12/12/2023 21:46

@4LeafCloverBaby I’ve read a fair amount and what I understand is the following…

OPKs are designed to pick up LH but in PCOS you’re likely to have elevated LH anyway so therefore will effectively get false positives.

With your BBT, because you’re looking for a regular spike pattern over multiple months, you just won’t get a pattern you can anticipate due to the PCOS causing erratic ovulation.

happy to be corrected on any of the above as it’s not 100% clear and different websites go into different levels of detail…

4LeafCloverBaby · 12/12/2023 21:49

@FantasticalCat ah I see, I guess that does make sense. Wow that must make it so difficult to know anything about your cycle 😔 So basically you just have to have sex all the time & hope for the best?? 🤞🏼

Tiffany88 · 12/12/2023 21:58

This is a bit random but do you still ovulate if you don't get the ewcm? I noticed this month that I never had any but I did get a positive opk so morning unsure if I even ovulated

4LeafCloverBaby · 12/12/2023 22:15

@Tiffany88 yes, some people don’t produce much ewcm at all…usually contributes to infertility in some women so that’s not something you can solely rely on

emmatcc1 · 12/12/2023 22:38

Hello!
I’m 1dpo today a I’m pretty sure I’m coming down with a fever. Does anyone know if it can impact possible implantation?

brbttc · 13/12/2023 02:32

Hi again. So after yesterday's BFN on the digital I caved and took a FRER this morning. Currently 12DPO according to Flo. ❤️

@brbttc AHH! Congratulations 🎉🎉 great line x

brbttc · 13/12/2023 06:24

@ThelastRolo20 thank you! Couldn't quite believe my eyes when it first appeared, but it's definitely there! Grin

ThelastRolo20 · 13/12/2023 06:28

@brbttc it's most definitely there!. I'm 13/14 DPO so we'll be due around the same time if all things go well 😊 what a lovely Christmas present x

brbttc · 13/12/2023 06:42

@ThelastRolo20 fantastic!! Having this as an early xmas present to ourselves is so nice! The only downside is having to get around the no drinking at xmas! Grin

I definitely think I felt some symptoms the past few days. My boobs were ever so slightly sore the other day, and they are definitely fuller. I also got a few instances of significant pulling sensations in my lower abdomen area. Stopped me in my tracks at one stage! I also woke up this morning feeling slightly dizzy.

ThelastRolo20 · 13/12/2023 07:22

@brbttc ah yeah I've had boob pain too. I did another test today (difference of 3 days) and it's not much darker but not much I can do so will just have to wait and see. I've only got one more test which I'll use tomorrow and then I'm going to stop testing

Anyone TTC Dec 2023
brbttc · 13/12/2023 07:27

@ThelastRolo20 your second test looks a little bit darker! It's such a stressful waiting game isn't it!! I had to buy a new packet of tests yesterday, so I have a few more under the sink. I'm thinking I'll probably test again tomorrow to see if it's gotten darker, and if it has then I'm going to stop testing. Might do a digital a few days after my missed period to see if it's moved past 1-2weeks.

Babno3 · 13/12/2023 08:05

Oh congrats to all with those lovely lines 😍@ThelastRolo20 i really think you have nothing to worry about that second line is definitely darker. When is af due? X
