Touching your toes? Hang on a second, no one said checking it was going to be hard work......

OK so I am on stand by for ringing an ambulance, if not for DS2's nose bleed (only 36 hours long ), then for DS1's attitude Can't believe I want another one of him! I thought the teens kicked in at 13, not 5!

Meant to say, Cal, you know you have been eye-spying blue fanjos in the mirror....!

MoosMa · 05/03/2008 16:49

Wasn't there a blog about being pregnant called the purlpe fanjo diaries or something??

DD1 had a lovely time this morning, she's been telling me all about it this afternoon - that was a relief!

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 17:06

Awww, I found with DS1 when he started nursery that the thought of me just leaving there scared him to death, but as soon as I left him, I used to walk round the corner of the building to check on him and he would be playing away quite happily! Only once he absolutely cried his heart out and didn't want me to leave, but he was poorly later that day so I think it had as much to do with that as anything!

Right had better get the kids dinner sorted incase we have a trip to the hospital tonight.... And DH is going to be really late I am all on my own.

Aww well time for MN after tea See you all later/tomorrow xxx

NJ has he really had a 36 hour nose bleed? Have you tried wrapping ice cubes in a cold wet flannel and pinching them on the bridge of his nose? Remember to keep his head tilted forward not back, if he swallows too much blood it could make him sick. 36 hours is a long time!!

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 17:15

Yes, well coming up to 36 hours, since he woke up yesterday morning.

Can't do any of what you've suggested, he is only 15 months, he doesn't understand to keep his head forward and not to swallow, that is why NHS Direct said if it get's any worse to get an ambulance.

Right I really am off now! Have a g'night if I don't make it back xxx

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 17:23

I have put the oven on, that counts doesn't it?!!!

Can't get to hospital, or the GP's, or out of hours GP's.... see here, if you can be bothered!

If I go and don't come back, g'night everyone (not saying it again today!!)

BeMyLilBaby · 05/03/2008 17:27

aww poor NJ! poor bubby! perhaps DH could take you to A&E x

MoosMa · 05/03/2008 17:30

Oh I see (just skimme dyour other thread) I'd deffo take him to hosp today, by ambulance if there's no other way. Could you get a taxi?

Hope he's better soon

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 18:08

DH is 5 hours away BB

Can't get taxi because of the car seats.

It is starting to slow down now, I've not wiped it for about 10 minutes and there is nothing there at the moment, all I can do is cross fingers and hope it is stopping or that it certainly doesn't get any worse!

Hello,
I am most defintely(sp) not checking myself.
Also GO ARSENAL!!!!!!!!!
I am so chuffed with the football.

MIL still hasn't brought ds home!!!!!!!!
I am so pissed off she was meant to be back at 3!!!!!

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 19:17

Kay go on, we all want to know if your fanjo is blue or not....

Has MIL been in touch?

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 05/03/2008 19:22

No she hasn't been in touch. Dh texted sil and got "she will be home soon you know where ds is and who he is with"
But we dont know when he will be home!!!
I am so angry!!!

Im not looking!!

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 19:26

Bloody hell, is it normal for her to do this sort of thing? Aside from anything else DS will be getting tired, he needs his bed bless him. Am for you! I take it you have rang MIL home/mobile? Is FIL with her?

OP posts:
lardylumps · 05/03/2008 19:28

That is really bad Kay, how would she like it if you didn't call if she was expecting you.

NJ how is ds's nose now?

MoosMa · 05/03/2008 19:28

Blimey Kay, it's so late! Has she given him his tea? I'd be going mad if that was me!

kayzisbroody · 05/03/2008 19:29

FIL and MIL are divorved and would kill each other if in the same car.

Dh wont ring her incase she is driving. This is not normal. She has gone to Leeds to visit my sil!! Im getting sick with worry!!!

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 19:31

LL it slows down then he gets a lot come out at once, then it slows again, DH should be home in about an hour and half-ish so I am starting to relax a bit!

Kay, sod if she is driving, you need to know he is OK. Ring her, if she's driving she'll stop and ring you back, won't she?

OP posts:
lardylumps · 05/03/2008 19:31

What time did they leave SIL?

kayzisbroody · 05/03/2008 19:32

Dh wont let me ring her. I have no idea when they left.

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 19:33

Sod DH aswell, if this unlike her, you are worried about your child, and he isn't going to ring, then you should.

Any reasonable person would understand why you are worried.

OP posts:
lardylumps · 05/03/2008 19:34

You have to ring SIL first. That way if they left late then you can relax and not have to phone MIL while she is driving.

kayzisbroody · 05/03/2008 19:46

HE IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never been so happy to see him!!

She decided to wait until the rush hour traffic was over. She still could have rung us. But he is home now and he is happy.

lardylumps · 05/03/2008 19:50

thank god for that..... very inconsiderate of her imo..

Glad he is safe though phewwweeee
