@Riverofhope I hate an unexpected ovulation date, then you feel like it’s a wasted cycle because you didn’t try enough.
I think you know your own body and negative tests are so disheartening.
I am now 10DPO and tested, negative. I’m booking the GP appointment next month, I live in Ireland and it’s so slow to get any tests on the public wait list. But at least we can join the queue.
This is baby number 2 for us, although it’s been almost 9 years since I conceived my first!
@muffin1996 dont be too hard on yourself, it’s so easy to fall off the wagon. Join a class or do an activity that you enjoy, it’s easier commit when it’s not torture 😂

I’ve started having some little cramps today, and suddenly bloated - I’m not sure how many DPO I am - does everyone calculate from the positive test or the day after?
AF not due for another week yet 🤔

@Riverofhope I calculate from day after, Ive read ovulation occurs 24-36 hours after a positive OPK x

@etaketak1991 Thanks, so I’m 10 dpo today then. I’ve done an ultra sensitive test and feel like I can see a barely there faint line…. But my husband can’t see anything. Don’t want to get my hopes up

@Skyla01 will let you know. I think walking is the only form of cardio I enjoy lol. Other than that, I used to do strength training three times a week with dumbbells. Which I loved so trying to get back on track!

@Babyhopeful23 thank you x it’s my first month of trying but I definitely think keeping myself busy and taking my mind off it is important

Another BFN here at 12 DPO felt a bit crampy so think AFs on its way, back to square 1 again I guess. Any tips for not letting it get you down

@Blackberry95 im in the same boat. What cycle is this for you? Seeing the negative tests is probably the hardest part. I bought myself a sheet mask and I’m going to have a bath this evening and have a cry and chill.

@Babyhopeful23 tracking since new year when I stopped my pill. Starting to feel panicky these last couple of cycles tho

@Blackberry95 Quick question, did you have irregular cycles before starting the pill and did they remain regular once you came off?

@muffin1996 so I had been on one form of progesterone or another for past 10 years and never had periods at all whilst on it! They came straight back with 28-31 day cycles when I stopped which I was really surprised about

It has been so hard with LO he was nursing at night until I weaned him in July and my cyclea have been manic.

Looking back on my calendar we haven't properly DTD during my fertile weeks at all. We decided in Feb but have had things come up and LO sickness and teething. Sometimes my cycle was 21days then 43days!!! Very little info on nursing on demand and cycles.

So Aug is the first month we DTD every 2days!

Hi ladies just wondering if someone might be able to help please. Been TTC baby#1 for a few months now, my last cycle was over 9 weeks, now cd11 of this cycle. This is our first cycle using bbt and opks. Premom app this evening has just told me I ovulated 2 days ago (cd9), until now predicted ovulation was next Friday cd 17. Never got an LH spike but only started twice daily testing today (didn't record this morning's but definitely wasn't positive). Think it is very unlikely I ovulated on day 9 as since stopping pill shortest cycle I've had has been 29 days. Is this probably just a mistake with the app? Thanks!

Does anyone use CB ovulation tests? I used my first this morning, I clearly didn't read the instructions properly & dipped the window and not the tip and wondered why it wasn't working. I've only got a pack of 10 as they're so expensive 🙈 how many times a day should I be testing? Should I be DTD as soon as I get a flashing smiley? I've heard some people get a flashing smiley for 6 + days beforehand & with a young DC it's hard fitting in the time!

Hi everyone, wondering if I can have some advice.

I have relatively regular periods (cycles are between 26 and 29 days and have been for a while). Struggling to conceive no2 for 4 mo already and I feel incredibly deflated. DH has low motility and low morphology (but for both, only just, it's borderline). His sperm count is fine.

We've been DTD every other day since my period finished (so CD6,8,10) . I'm CD11 and when I went to the loo earlier and wipes I noticed that I have CM like egg whites... should we DTD again tonight or wait until tomorrow as originally planned?

I started using the CB tests this month. I went for every other day when flashing then did the night before static (by chance really) and the day after when static. Would have done the first day of static too but honestly didn’t have the energy 😂
You’re supposed to do one per day with FMU until flashing, it does say when it’s flashing you can do it more often but they’re so expensive I didn’t bother.

@wishingforbaby2 I personally get the EGCM from 2-3 days before I ovulate and as sperm can live for at least 48 hours you would be ok to wait. Are you going to do OPKs? I’m waiting to test again tomorrow but had a very very faint line earlier and we DTD 3-4 days before ovulation this time x

Yes doing OPKs and this morning it was quite low - you can see in my previous cycle that at my peak it's closer to 1. Also ovulation not expected till Thursday

@Blackberry95 it's really tough, such an emotional rollercoaster. It can be really hard to stay chilled. I would try and distract yourself as much as possible. Try a new box set or new hobby to occupy you? I also didn't do a lot of pregnancy tests, I found it quite disappointing rather than just waiting for AF. It is hard but keep the faith, you will get there.

@muffin1996 some strength training sounds good. And better to stick to indoor exercise with winter coming up.

@Riverofhope fingers crossed for a stronger line in a few more days! I'm going to retest tomorrow morning...

Hiya, has your partner tried aupplememts to try and increase motility , most couples in hear of are told to avoid Alcohol and caffeine completely as well as increasing Vit D, VIt C, zinc & Magnesium. Drinking more water (most men don't drink enough).

EWCM only facilitates the sperm so if this is the day your have the most I personally would have DTD. My EWCM increases in the fertile week and my Peak EWCM is usually 1 day before I get a Positive OPK and usually I ovulate the day after my Peak. So this Month we just happened to DTD on the day of my most EWCM and the day after my Peak.
Not sure if this was the right move but everyday is exhausting. With a toddler about!!!
