I'm so over TTC, feeling so down about it all today. My progesterone levels are low and it feels like I'm fighting a losing battle. I can't get a prescription to take post ovulation until I see a consultant (hoping the miscarriage consultant which comes first can help!). Still have to wait until the end of November for that appointment. Another 2 cycles wasted after this one 😞 I hate how I feel like my body is failing. What's the point in all these extra organs and having to have periods if I can't even have a baby!

Sorry - just needed to rant. I am fed up of everyone telling me it'll happen soon when that feels impossible.

@123456789sw 😂😂DH was watching a movie but I was practically asleep the couch so went do. By the time I did teeth/ face etc and got into bed he arrived and was like 'so we doing it' 🙄so romantic. TBF I think he is taking all the opportunities he gets, after DS was born I didn't let him near me for months. Even after that my interest was very patchy.

Do you have any other children?

Ha ha - my husband can't cope without sleep so it's a constant challenge for me to timetable it in! A big part of the problem I think.
We have one boy who turns 3 in December (which also doesn't help with timing etc!).
How olds yours?

@123456789sw he just turned 1 in July. Are you doing OPKs? I re-did mine this afternoon it's 0.24 today is supposed to be ovulation day

Last few days of the month.. is anyone still holding out for this month? I am on my last shred of hope. 3 days of the tww left!! Crying internally.. 😅

I have been. I thought I wasn't ovulating some months (as wasn't seeing a peak and some cycles were a lot longer), so I have a blood test booked in tomorrow.
But i continued testing this month and didn't get a static smiley or peak LH until day 18. And the peak was higher than I've ever had before.
Just relieved as I thought it might have been early menopause!
Have you tried the clear blue advanced?

@123456789sw I am using the easy at home OPKs. They worked the 1st month TTC my son so I am hoping for the same. I had 2 mc's before DS and it 6 months - 1 year to get pregnant both of those times. With DS I started OPKs my first period after the MC and got pregnant.

How are the clear blue advance? They're pricey. How old are you? I'm 35, would be 36 giving birth if I got pregnant right now. So hopefully don't have to wait too long

Oh sorry to hear about your MCs, that must have been tough.
Yeah they are expensive, and I told myself I'd stop using them, but I wanted to know more about what was going on with my body - I think I'm addicted....
I'm 38 so starting to feel a little like I'm running out of time 😫😫!

I posted in this thread back in September and haven't really logged on to my account since - sorry for the long delay, but I appreciate you both replying to my message!

I didn't really get on with OPKs in the end, so gave up with them pretty quickly and just based things off my natural cycle. To my shock, I became pregnant that same month, which I found out in October, and am currently sitting here expecting my baby next month. I know I am extremely fortunate.

I haven't kept up with the conception forum, but hoping everyone posting here has had success or soon will do.
