Hi everyone!! Currently on the dreaded TWW and could do with some company to stop me obsessing ha!

I feel like this month I’m in with a chance since my MMC in June! I’ve noticed lots of watery CM over the weekend, along with pain in my left boob and then positive OPK followed by a large spike in temp so fingers crossed my ovulation is back on track!

I would love to hear about others symptoms around implantation up till your BFP :)

@Longtobe2023 that is commitment ha ha! 🤞🏻that’d be a story to tell baby in 30 years time 😂

@LacedBouquet 🤞🏻 for you with the double ovulation!

So my cycle is usually about 26 days and I’m CD20 today.. I’ve only ever done the CBD ovulation tests that tell you when you’re about to ovulate and they’ve ranged between CD11-14 when I’ve had a positive so who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I’m struggling to see the positive in it with having spotting between my ovulation and period the last two months! A couple of people have suggested I may have low progesterone so now I’m worrying about that!

Longtobe2023 · 12/10/2023 17:26

@LacedBouquet if it doesn’t work this month then I won’t be doing a 160 mile round trip again haha 😂

it was lovely though seeing him midweek, this week has felt so long and lonely so it was nice for the company for an extra night!

I’ve logged my LH now and premom has put my dinner time test as my peak so hopefully we did enough, itl be good to have my 21 day test done too for reassurance of me ovulating. I have pain in my left ovary too so will wait and see (not patiently though ha)

how are you getting on with your TWW?

Longtobe2023 · 12/10/2023 17:32

@Blueskies4 fingers crossed I do have this as a story to tell 🤣

hopefully you manage to find out soon through some bloods if you have low progesterone! I can imagine it’s blumming frustrating!

@Longtobe2023 Hows it going now? When did you ovulate?

I’m 8DPO today! I just discovered the test strips I use can have indent lines so I think this is just an indent sadly :( (non contrast and contrast version) but I know 8DPO is too early to be testing anyway, I just had the itch!

Longtobe2023 · 16/10/2023 21:37

@LacedBouquet there’s still a lot of hope there though! They do have indent lines but I’ve done probably over 60 of these and never once got a sniff of a line lol

it says I’m 3DPO but I think I’m 4, feeling very positive this month though! Not many days between us both, fingers crossed we both get our BFP this month!! ✨ have you felt any different?

OP posts:
Blueskies4 · 18/10/2023 08:35

@Longtobe2023 @LacedBouquet hey ladies, I got my period… and an absolute stinker of a cold 😩

Good luck to you both for this cycle!

I'm going to get myself to the docs next week about my mid cycle spotting x

Longtobe2023 · 18/10/2023 08:40

@Blueskies4 sorry to hear that lovely! Hopefully next month is your month and you feel better soon!

I’ve had a cold the last few days, even slept in socks and my oodie last night I was that cold ha!

keep us posted what the doctors say :)

LacedBouquet · 18/10/2023 11:23

Hey @Blueskies4 sorry to hear about period! I think I’ll be joining you shortly!

I think I’m 10dpo today and BFN, stark white. Still taking my progesterone suppositories and will wait until Friday at 12DPO and if still negative then I’ll stop them to get my period and move to next cycle.

When I’ve been pregnant before with my CPs I always had a positive from 9DPO so considering there’s not even a whiff of a line this time at 10dpo, I think I’m out!

LacedBouquet · 21/10/2023 14:09

Afternoon ladies 💕
Hope you’re all doing well! Where are you in your cycles?
For me I had complete stark white tests, no indents or anything so I stopped my progesterone suppositories a few days ago and just waiting for AF!
Ive got a 30th birthday party tonight so was planning to treat myself with some secco. I took an LH test and it was slightly raised at 0.31 so I took my last preg test! At first I thought it was stark white but then could see a shadow of a line and now I’m confused!! My bbt is still high above 37 degrees and I’m 13DPO so thought too late for a vvvvvvfl!
I’ll add the test below both normal and contrasted. Let me know what you think? Probs just line eyes x

Blueskies4 · 22/10/2023 11:15

@LacedBouquet oooh I can see the line 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you… in my last 3 pregnancies I’ve tested positive as early as 3+1 but as late as 4+1, so a reminder I guess that all pregnancies are different 🙂

I’m CD 8 😄decided I’m going to do CBD ovulation tests this month if for no other reason but to track for the Docs to do with this pesky spotting!

I went to the GPs this week and they took swabs and have me booked in for an ultrasound to check nothing going on, if clear it’ll be a referral to gynaecology.

Stephy1024 · 22/10/2023 11:39

I think I can see a line @LacedBouquet. Have you tested again this morning?

LacedBouquet · 23/10/2023 16:54

@Blueskies4 @Stephy1024 My AF appeared yesterday morning! So it was a no this month but happy to start a new cycle fresh.

Going to get some more hormone bloods done and GP wants another consultation with me so hopefully can get more things moving with the recurrent miscarriage situ!

Longtobe2023 · 23/10/2023 17:39

@LacedBouquet so sorry to hear AF has arrived!! I really hope the drs get the ball rolling quick for you!

currently 10DPO here and BFN, AF due Friday so will wait and see…. I got my progesterone results back today from 7DPO and they were 50.2nmol/L and I haven’t got a clue what that means, they just said I’ve ovulated. Now I’m wondering what else it could be that’s wrong why I’m just not convincing??

all that talk at school age where they said if you even look at a penis you’ll fall pregnant…. Lies 😂😩

OP posts:
LacedBouquet · 24/10/2023 08:46

@Longtobe2023 Remind me of your story again, how long have you been ttc and have you ever had a positive test?
Your progesterone levels seem really high/ good! Is your luteal phase normally between 12-14 days?

When I phoned GP yesterday and receptionist said GP put in my file that he wants a consultation with me, it was two weeks ago! Why could they not have phoned or even sent me a letter or email?!
So I phoned this morning and waiting for a callback from GP. I do think it’ll be to say that the recurrent miscarriage clinic rejected me so I just need to ‘continue’ 🙄

Longtobe2023 · 24/10/2023 09:14

@LacedBouquet I’ve been off BC for 4.5 years, only 1 pregnancy that sadly ended at 7+5. I have confirmed LH tests and my cycle is what would be described as perfect.

so since my results I’ve looked further into the bloods that was taken early pregnancy and there was a few high/low scores which have sent me down a google rabbit hole 😩

some have said the deficiency related can cause infertility or early loss so I think I’ll ring the doctors!

so sorry about yours being so useless, mine are exactly the same!

here’s my early pregnancy bloods before miscarriage-

@LacedBouquet really sorry AF showed up. I really thought this could be it for you. Fingers crossed for next month.
Hope everyone's doing OK on here

Blueskies4 · 24/10/2023 22:42

@LacedBouquet ah I’m sorry your AF showed up, I thought it was a positive. Fingers crossed you get the support you need lovely from the GPs/RM.

@Longtobe2023 crossing my fingers that you don’t get your AF Friday x

I started testing with CBD ovulation tests again this cycle (but following the actual instructions) and it’s been bizarre;

CD7 - negative
CD8 - negative
CD9 - flashing smiley
CD10 (today) - negative again!

Whys it got to be so frustrating?!

@Stephy1024 hope alls ok with you x

Longtobe2023 · 25/10/2023 06:28

@Blueskies4 i think my AF will deffo show Friday, I’ve had a steady decrease in temps for the last 3 days and tested negative again this morning on the sensitive test. Looking at it though I might have a B12 deficiency so contacting the doctors today about it as my day 21 results were fine.

that sounds very confusing! Hopefully you get your static smiley soon (if that’s how it works, never used those ones)

LacedBouquet · 25/10/2023 16:03

That’s really interesting about those earlier bloods @Longtobe2023 Id definitely get yourself on a B complex & iron if you’re not already taking that as a supplement.

Thanks @Stephy1024 and @Blueskies4 I did too but I honestly think those tests are bad for indents so I need to watch next time with those vvvvfls!

It didn’t go well with the GP. The gynaecologist in Glasgow rejected my referral and won’t consider me unless I have 3 viable pregnancies confirmed by a scan that then miscarry which is impossible!!! And then because I can get pregnant, my GP said I can’t be referred for infertility testing when I hit the year mark. How awful is that?!!!! I’m so angry with them, I pay soooooo much in tax having my own business and I am fortunate that I have never had to use the NHS and the one time I need them I get this 🤷‍♀️ I just felt really invalidated and like my pregnancies didn’t matter.

Onwards and upwards though, I went for private bloods today to get all my hormones tested so hopefully something comes back on that and if not I’ll just need to start saving and take matters into my own hands x

Longtobe2023 · 25/10/2023 17:12

@LacedBouquet im so sorry you didn’t get the help you deserve, it’s disgusting how they can just pass you off like that! It’s almost as if they will find any excuse to not help people with fertility!

im certainly swaying towards private, I’ll know then that they will actually WANT to help!

I hope you get those answers you need.

Blueskies4 · 25/10/2023 18:00

@LacedBouquet that’s shocking, I’m so sorry you’ve had such a rubbish time with the GP and gynaecologist.

I don’t suppose you’ve ever spoken to Tommys? I’ve had 5 pregnancies (one daughter) and after my 3rd miscarriage (2nd since my daughter) I phoned Tommys and they suggested I contact a specific email at Tommys to see if they’d take me on without the referral from my GP (who said i didn’t meet their criteria because I had to have 3 in a row to get referred). I didn’t end up getting referred because I fell pregnant again and then the GP referred me to recurrent miscarriage anyway when that pregnancy ended, but may be worth a shot?

It seems impossible that they want 3 confirmed pregnancies because most early miscarriages don’t get to the point that they’re visible on a scan, and even if they do, the hospital are reluctant to scan you unless you’re bleeding from personal experience!?

I’m the same, I’ll be looking into private soon if we don’t get no joY xx

LacedBouquet · 29/10/2023 08:37

@Blueskies4 Thanks so much for sending all this. I haven’t but I’m going to look into it and see if they’ll do something! Especially as I found the recurrent miscarriage guidelines written by my local hospital and their criteria on that didn’t specify the pregnancies had to be confirmed by scans!

How long are you going to give yourself until you look into private options?

Separately, I got my blood work back!!
I did a big panel of bio markers that the GP didn’t do in the initial testing and it’s come back that I have extremely high levels of the thyroid hormone T3 and is pointing towards hyperthyroidism! And when you look at what raised T3 can cause, it matches me- short luteal phase and recurrent implantation failure in the form of a chemical pregnancy before 5 weeks! So I feel a huge sense of relief because I’m finally getting somewhere with the issue.
Going to phone GP on Monday and see what can be done 🙏

Blueskies4 · 29/10/2023 20:11

@LacedBouquet yeah definitely worth a look into it, or even just an initial call to them to get some info whilst you sort stuff with your bloods.

Bless you, hopefully this is the cause and it’s easily treatable (I have hypothyroidism so the opposite - levothyroxine seems to keep things under control but the same that it can impact fertility whilst untreated).

So at the moment my cycles have gone askew and they’re looking into that - I’m hoping stress is the cause of that/not falling pregnant since my miscarriage at the start of the year and not secondary infertility but I think if I’m not pregnant by January I’ll probably look to go private. And then there’s the matter of if I do get pregnant but miscarry again.. I think if I do again then we’ll look into private after that. I can’t shake the feeling that the clocks ticking (I’m mid 30s) xx

Blueskies4 · 29/10/2023 20:15

Ps. If it is hyperthyroidism the British Thyroid foundation is a great source of info, and they have fact sheets available to take to your GP x

LacedBouquet · 30/10/2023 13:04

Thanks @Blueskies4
I spoke to GP but he sort of dismissed it, made me feel like an idiot again but I did push for additional testing so I’m booked in on Thursday to get a retest so that it goes on NHS records.
Not impressed with my GP at all.

Aww bless you but this does sound like a good plan! Are you ttc for your first child?
