11dpo BFN on FRER

so as it say in the subject I’m 11dpo and just got a bfn on a frer I didn’t use FMU but do you think I still have a change or has anyone got a positive stories about getting a BFN and then getting a BFP?

with both my boys I got a BFP by 10dpo so this is why I’m thinking I’m out!

With DD2 I got a BFN at 12dpo and then a BFP at 14dpo (she's now 6). You're not out until AF shows 🤞

Thank you @MacNut its just so frustrating as I feel pregnant but the tests says otherwise…
My AF isn’t due until Friday so still silly to think I’m out but I hear so many stories on here about people getting BFP at 8dpo x

I didn't get a BFP on FRER until 12DPO (faint-ish) and it then strengthened after that so crossing fingers for you OP! Definite BFN at 11DPO for me.

If you know exactly when you ovulated then yeah a BFN at 11dpo on a FRER is probably conclusive but if you're unsure of your dates then there's every chance of a positive still as it could just be too early :)

@TheBirdintheCave That’s what I was thinking tbh.. I had a positive opk 13days ago and felt ovulation 12 days ago but had a few craps on day 10 which could be implantation, but I think I’m just clutching at straws to be honest 🥲

@Rightnow1245 11dpo is super early and you might just not have enough hcg in your system yet. It is absolutely not conclusive.

All women have a different level of base beta hcg in their system (between 1 and 5 but can be less than 1) and implantation occurs any time between 6dpo and 12dpo. So, it's entirely possible to have to wait a while for a positive test when pregnant.

Some people have higher base hcg and/or implant earlier, so they get early positives. Others have lower base hcg and/or implant later, so have to wait a while fir a later positive.

I didn't get even a very faint positive until 13dpo.

@XenaTheWarriorPrincess Thank you for your message, I really hope I’ve just haven’t got enough HCG in my system to show up yet.. I’m getting cramps which I never get before Af so hope it’s just to early x

@Rightnow1245 just wait 48 hours and retest. You might be pregnant, you might not, the waiting is torture but it's all you can do x

I got a bfn at 11dpo and then literally 24hrs later at 12dpo i saw a line.
There's still time hun, hope you get your bfp xx

Hope you get that line. I found out I was pregnant in December and it was the faintest of lines on day 13 OH couldn't even see it... it wasn't until day 15 the test got darker and then progressed. I unfortunately mc in the Feb. I had 3 chemicals... one the line was there on day 12, other day 13 and the last wasn't until day 15. So no pregnancy is the same. Nothing is conclusive. Fingers crossed for you. I'm day 10 now of this cycle with niggles but due to the amount of CP even if I see a line I'm waiting till I'm a week past AF to get excited now lol.

@DarkCrystal85 Thank you so much for your message, I think I am out tbh as I’m 14dpo and don’t feel pregnant at all.. I only have a few cramps which is normal but not unheard of if it’s a bad month for Af

Just to update AF did show yesterday right on time.. I hate reading these post and no one updates… on to the next cycle and hoping for a BFP this cycle 😀

Aww bless you and yes it is a tad frustrating to follow a thread and then get no answers lol. I'm due on today, also my due date from my loss. Did a test but negative... though when I squint there looks to be something but with the sheer amount of chemicals that seem to happen the same way I am looking for a clear line with no squinting involved. I've got cramps so sure af will appear in the next day. Thankyou for your kind words... I started trying last September, chemical in September then conceived in the nov cycle and found out in December (on my birthday haha), mmc at 12 weeks (baby was 8 weeks when they passed) then started trying again end of April and had a few chemicals before this cycle. We are a female married couple so have a donor and doing AI so I track monthly and know when everything falls etc. My wife was trying for 6 cycles before we conceived our son who unfortunately ending in mc at 14 weeks and then a further 8 months to concieve our daughter who is now 3. I'm 37 and hoped to have started trying when my daughter was 1 but due to covid and lockdowns it was hard haha.

Hi, thankyou for checking in. I got AF and now on day 8 of cycle so the tracking commences once again 😫 how are you getting on this cycle? I'm seeing donor this cycle on day 11, 13, 15 and 18 in hope that about covers my newly random ovulation days. I used to be so regular but I think the sheer amount of CP have muddled everything up xx

I’m on CD12 and got a positive on opk today this morning.. so guessing I’m guessing I will ovulate tonight or tomorrow 😊 we dtd cd9 and 11 and will hopefully DtD tongiht if we’re not wore out from our family holiday to butlins 😂😂

I'm using sticks due to the ovulation being hard to time now and also I had ADHD and OCD and just like to know we are at least getting things done around the right time. There's been cycles we've seen donor when we really didn't need to and then missed days we should probably have seen him and it's not as fun as dtd and feels very clinical once we have the donation back home 🙈 I use the premom app to help tell me what the sticks say though I'm pretty regular with strength of peak sticks and length of peaks. I don't do temp as I am up with the 3 year old in the night... alot at the moment too I think it's the heat... also been in garden at daft times in the wee hours taking shots of Jupiter saturn and supermoons recently so I don't trust bbt.

Thought I would wade in as the tww is also killing me. I'm ttc baby #3 and this is our first month actively trying. Been tracking ovulation for 3 cycles though. We dtd the day before my peak and the day after (when I ovulated). I feel so symptomatic but not sure if all in my head.
Had 3 negative tests but feel so much is happening so just not sure. AF due on Monday s going to do a clear blue 6 days early test tomorrow morning and see what it says.
11dpo today and got my bfp at 12dpo with DS2.
Hoping that I'm not going crazy!

Aww @SchofeTee it can be so mentally draining. I didn't get my first bfp until day 13 in December and took 2 days for line to be nice and clear. Have you done anymore tests? I'm cycle 5 of trying since our 12 week loss in Feb and getting fed up now. I'm currently peak LH going by ovulation sticks it's literally sky rocketed today on day 13 of cycle which is nice as it was all over the place for months.

So I did a clear blue digital this morning and got a BFN. I'm 13dpo so part of me wonders if I could just be testing early. I guess not all hope is lost til I get AF. But I'm taking it as a definitive no. I shouldn't be upset as first month trying. But when you feel like your body is doing everything to suggest you are it's just a bit confusing 😢

I am sure our bodies do it all intentionally to wind us up, we are more in tune with every twinge and pinch that we most probably feel every other month just pay no attention to. I've read some people don't get their bfp for a while after due AF so I always say you're not out till AF rears her head 😁 I was stark negative one day and then lines the next it shocked me as I'd classed myself as out lol x

That's reassuring. I'm currently trying for baby #3 so I don't even feel entitled to complain lol. My eldest I didn't even plan and it was a complete surprise so found out at like 7/8weeks. Second born I tried for 3 cycles but I never felt like this. But i got my bfp with him at 12dpo though it wasn't as targeted as i was using the smiley face opk's rather than the Premom strips. Are you currently pregnant then or do you mean the previous time? Xx
