@Annapolis35 A regular cycle is definitely a blessing and you're right, you will get pregnant - it's just a case of when! ❤️ I had stress last time I was TTC and it took a little extra so I do think it plays a part. Even if minor!

I hope you enjoy your week off 😉 x

LeopardLover · 30/08/2023 07:42

@CAGH03 Actually, just a thought! Does your role include a cleaning aspect? I can't remember! If so, might be worth keeping this in mind as there will need to be a risk assessment as some point!

CAGH03 · 30/08/2023 19:15

@LeopardLover I changed to do reception in a hotel, but it's an hours journey from home as I don't drive. The job itself is super easy. I called in sick today as I had to get up at 6 but felt super sick and exhausted. I explained to my boss that I'm pregnant and he was like congratulations! And has put me on the afternoon shift for tomorrow as I tend to get sickness in the morning. And I can't stop eating!😩 especially ice cream and ice lollies 😭. Did an opk out of interested and was kinda shocked at the result 🤣x

@LeopardLover really random question, how did you feel once you found out? I can't seem to believe it and can't stop testing!😭 my first scan is getting booked in at the end of September and I've done like 7 tests🤣 I'm just so worried somethings going to go wrong 😩❤️x

OP posts:
LeopardLover · 31/08/2023 14:10

@CAGH03 I'm so glad your boss is so supportive and you switched jobs to something more pregnancy friendly haha. 😊 How are you feeling today?

With my son I only tested twice, and then didn't believe it until 8 weeks when I had my scan due to hardly any symptoms!

This time, I tested non-stop for the first week 🤣 I used those cheapy easy@home strips, a FRER, a Boots test and eventually a digital 🙈 I felt reassured after my first scan at 8 weeks.

I'd recommend stepping away from the tests until you are maybe 5 weeks then do a digital and quit. Because it just causes anxiety 😅 I know how hard it is! Let those symptoms bring you some reassurance xx

CAGH03 · 31/08/2023 14:22

@LeopardLover work have been quite good about it and have taken me off a few early shifts due to the sickness. Feel pretty good today, getting very excited! My back is killing me tho as I'm so bloated! I used like 4 clearblue and 2 digital🤣 I've got 2 Poundland tests in my bag🤣 I'll feel much more relaxed once I get my 8 week scan. Told my FH about the scan and he's so excited bless him🥰 I need to stay away from tests🤣 currently on the train to work but there's nowhere to sit 😭 and I look about 6 months due to the bloating🤣x

CAGH03 · 31/08/2023 14:23

@LeopardLover that's why I'm worrying as I don't have many symptoms, just a bit of nausea every now and then and bad gas🤣 and a few foods taste different 🤣 apart from that I feel pretty much normal🥲 oh and VERY emotional😬x

OP posts:
CAGH03 · 31/08/2023 14:23

And I always feel STARVING 🤣😭x

OP posts:
LeopardLover · 31/08/2023 16:04

@CAGH03 Still plenty of time for the symptoms. Just wait until 6 weeks! Use the bloat to encourage someone to let you sit down. Hand on hip always works well 🤣

I'm still starving!!

CAGH03 · 31/08/2023 19:03

@LeopardLover no one offered me a seat🥲🤣 I cannot stop eating! Starting to feel a little extra nauseous now tho🥲x

@CAGH03 Oh no 🙈 you need a little badge! I had one in my maternity pack at my booking appointment last time 😅

Waaaah, I hope you don't get it too bad. I'm still sick daily! X

CAGH03 · 31/08/2023 20:29

@LeopardLover that's such a good idea 🤣 maybe I'll get one at my first scan lol. Started feeling quite nauseous this evening but hopefully it will go! Currently at work x

I’ve been feeling so weird recently. I’m supposed to be in my fertile week, but I can’t put my finger in it I feel crappy, tired, headachey, I have cramps - pretty much like I’m on my period but not. I had my period last week. 😔😔

LeopardLover · 01/09/2023 11:16

@DuchessofSuffolk Sorry you've been feeling weird 😔 Are you a bit under the weather? I've had strange cycles some months too! Hopefully you start to feel more like yourself soon x

DuchessofSuffolk · 01/09/2023 11:27

Well I don’t know! My period was last week and I feel like I would when I’m due on. I’m in my fertile week and I normally feel really energised and happy that week. Today I feel sad, headachey, cramps and tired

This may sound silly, but have you done a test? 2 days before I tested positive, I felt like I was about to start my period. I felt absolutely awful, but I remember feeling exactly like I do the day before my period arrives. I don't want to get your hopes up by saying this, as it might just be your body trying to sort itself out❤️ no matter what happens, we're all here for you❤️❤️xx

I had my period last week though… I have been thinking I should perhaps test

CAGH03 · 01/09/2023 21:19

@DuchessofSuffolk a test would rule out that answer if it isn't that, maybe try and book in a doctors app? x

@LeopardLover thanks for the tag! Just returned from my MN hiatus and sooooo many posts to catch up on! Lovely to hear of BFPs and continuing healthy pregnancies! @CAGH03 great news! Sorry if I've missed any other announcements!

I've had a month off from manic MN checking every hour and I think it's done me the world of good to get out of my head a bit. Have been doing yoga, and spending time with family. My Dad has been quite poorly, resulting in emergency spinal surgery last week! Thankfully he's come through it ok and hopefully onto better times! Anyway, it's also been a poignant time as rapidly approaching what would have been my due date at the end of October... Can't believe that's coming round so quickly. But I've taken time to feel the feels and I'm mostly in a much better place now.

Apologies there's no way I can allude to all posts I've missed individually but lovely to hear from you all and yet back into the swing of things.

CAGH03 · 07/09/2023 17:55

@SnookyPook hey! Sorry to hear about your dad, but at least he's okay? Sounds like you had a nice little break🤍 Thankyou! Feels very strange to finally be at this point!❤️x

@SnookyPook Hello! How are you feeling today? 💜 I just saw your rollercoaster couple of days on another thread. How many DPO are you? I really hope it isn't a chemical 😔

Gosh, your poor Dad! Glad he's doing OK - that must've been scary. A month of MN to disconnect sounds perfect.

And of course, those milestones can be challenging but I'm glad you're letting yourself feel everything.

Sending you lots of love! X

@CAGH03 How are you feeling?

SnookyPook · 10/09/2023 20:19

Aw thanks @LeopardLover ... yeah I got my positive at 14dpo - today I'd be 18dpo and the tests look exactly the same. So I immediately assumed chemical. However, still no bleeding and I have just seen some reviews online that others had fears of chemical etc due to crappy progression but on other tests lines were stronger and their pregnancies continued... so not quite sure now. There is still a nugget of hope. Will try different brand tomorrow and possibly contact gp to see if they'll do bloods. 🤞🏻🌈

LeopardLover · 10/09/2023 21:05

@SnookyPook I'm crossing my fingers for you and sending you all the positive vibes! 🥰

Bubblesandtroubles · 10/09/2023 22:27

@SnookyPook congratulations on your line. A line's a line- it getting darker certainly isn't definitive! How dark was it to begin with? Keeping everything crossed it sticks! 💕 xx

SnookyPook · 11/09/2023 06:49

Thanks guys but unfortunately I'm on the 'short-lived excitement' train... CB weeks indicator which should have been 2-3 by now has come up with Not Pregnant which is pretty conclusive!! No bleeding yet but at least I know it's coming. Just hope it doesn't take too long now.

This has hit me far less hard than my MMC in April. I guess I'd had less time to feel hopeful etc. It almost feels more surreal than anything. I'm still trying to home in on the positives that we've got pregnant twice in the space of 8 months, and less on the mad panic about egg quality etc 😬🙃

The right one will come at the right time. I'm sure whenever my rainbow does come along, it will make absolute sense why I had to wait for them. 🌈💕
