But how the hell do I get over the anxiety. I’m constantly panicking if everything’s okay.

@emmatcc1 Unfortunately I can't really help with that one 😅 I remember Googling everything! I found an early scan after 8 weeks helped, followed by the 12 week and then the 20 week was when I relaxed 🙈 Although a NIPT scan helped too! But I found bad cramping etc is normal x

Congrats @emmatcc1 i think it is normal to be anxious. You Google every symptom. I’ve hardly had any so googled that too! The scan does help; for me it was nice to know there was actually something in there. And baby is healthy. We had our results back for Down syndrome, Edward’s and Patu and it was like 1 in 5000 so really low, which is all good ☺️

It does get easier, but even I still panic now and I'm almost 22 weeks! Once you see baby for the first time, you'll settle a little 🤍

Such a bummer this thread has died down.

It feels like I'm just hanging by a thread. I'm 10DPO predicted today but have tested negative again this morning and this afternoon. On the plus side, we've exchanged on the sale and purchase of our house today so we are still very happy. Will be in our new home soon. I hope you're getting on well ❤️

@Favofit Congratulations on the new home! How exciting 🥰 Just think, when you fall pregnant you'll raise baby in it! Don't worry about testing negative at 10 DPO, with my son I was 18DPO. You can implant late!

@emmatcc1 How are you feeling? Would be nice to see how everyone is now!

@Favofit congrats on the house!❤️ and some people don't get a positive till later, and you never know, it could happen soon and you'll be raising them in your new house!

@CAGH03 You definitely want to keep wrapped up 🥰 how are you settling into being a single pregnant mama?

I'm 32 weeks. Feeling very pregnant with extra aches and pains. Went to an osteopath on my birthday as a little treat - having a toddler and being pregnant hits completely differently 🤣 also got the old baby clothes from the loft which had me feeling all emotional! I think it's starting to feel real. X

Thank you so much , I feel so relieved about the house. I think my stress levels have plummeted 😅 I didn't realise implementation could be that late. Fingers crossed ❤️ it's lovely to hear from you and how you're doing. Not long now

I’m 6+1 today and still pretty anxious. Did either of you experience any pain around week 6. I keep on getting dull aches around my ovaries here and there but the overall symptoms are really coming through this week.

@Favofit I feel like if I got pregnant any earlier the timing would not be right but now it’s perfect.
As you’re moving house it is probably best to get that done first and who knows maybe it takes your mind of ttc and helps you not stress too much.
I’m in the process of changing my obgyn and I’m going in tomorrow to sign in as a new patient and set up the first appointment.

@emmatcc1 that's a really good point about timing and stress levels. Moving to the new house is definitely going to keep me busy in the best possible way. Very exciting for your first appointment ❤️❤️❤️

@emmatcc1 I has SO much cramping and pain from about 6 weeks until probably 10 weeks or so. It's totally normal! And week 6 is when you often start to feel a bit sick (I didn't have any sickness with my son so not always the case). Exciting you're going to sign up for appointments!

I’m 15 + 1 today! Still trying to convince my husband he doesn’t want a surprise.

all we’ve bought so far is a few vests and some bottles. I have decided on the nursery tho and we have a few tester pots for that but feel so behind! 😂😂

@LeopardLover I’m definitely more calm now the at the beginning. I’m guessing the pains are from the growing and stretching uterus as they’re inconsistent and mild. I had very bad nausea when I first found out but now I sometimes feel very little of nausea if I’m hungry but I’m more gaggy, hopefully it stays that way as I hate being sick.

I already have one baby outfit but I’m so tempted to go buy more clothes, I’m trying to wait until the first scan and then I’m definitely going shopping. We’ve already picked out the furniture for the nursery and I’m set on the bottles and dummies I want to use. I think we’re both anxious of baby coming and then finding out we forgot to buy something.

@emmatcc1 I had period pains until around 13 weeks, my midwife wasn't concerned and I haven't had any complications so far! I'm 23+3 and starting to get period pains again, again it's due to him growing at such a rapid speed now! I'm so glad everything's okay for you❤️
