OPK Progression pics

I'm just being nosey 🤷 If you have photos of your OPKs from negative to positive share away! I find it super fascinating that some have a really clear progression and some are stark negative all the way until blazing positive. I'm definitely one of those who always have a pretty clear line and then all of a sudden it's positive.

My last two cycles.. I seem to get quite a rapid progression, usually rise a teeny bit the day before, then much higher the morning if my peak, and peak in the evening. Next day it often drops off quite dramatically again, sometimes more so than others.

Thanks for the, I'm using them for the first time and was worried at 10 DPO I was 0.09 (not due to ovulate until Sunday though!). Had no idea what to expect so this has really helped :)

Ooh that is super interesting! This is my first month using that app - previously I have just looked at the tests. So far all my tests have been 0.28 - 0.38. cd4-cd7

@HopefullMumto4 @ThelastRolo20 glad to have helped! I have only been using the app about 4 months - managed to fall pregnant twice just gauging it by eye. Unfortunately my second pregnancy was a MMC in April so got a bit more serious since then and started using the app. I think as long as you make sure you are DTD plenty around the time you expect to enter fertile week and the minute your opk gets darker then you should be fine regardless. Just helpful to know the peak to be more sure of exact ovulation day. Good luck!

@SnookyPook @HopefullMumto4 so I just tested again and it's a result of 0! Barely a shadow of the line and the app couldn't pick anything up... Surely that can't be a good sign on CD11? :(

Not necessarily! I typically don't ovulate until cd16-18 so for me anything other than negative on day 11 would be weird!

@HopefullMumto4 ah thank you, so new to this so I have no idea what's meant to happen. I didn't track with my first but my periods have been a bit haywire! My normal cycle is 29 days so wouldn't ovulate until Monday which is CD 16 so this makes sense. Will do twice a day anyway in case I get another weird month!

That's why I find it so fascinating! Hopefully some other people can share theirs. Maybe someone will share progression similar to yours!

I used fertility friend to track temperature and the premom app (same as above photos) to track the tests.

@Limmers14 also some people have a low level of LH throughout their entire cycle so a faint line even when due on is totally fine.

@ThelastRolo20 agree with @HopefullMumto4 that it's not really a concern if you have a later ovulation etc.. also, a reading of 0 on the app is unlikely to be an actually 0 - it's given me that before when I can see a faint line with my eyes that's just not contrasting properly in the pic etc. Exercise a bit of leeway with it - it's not perfect 😊

Just thought I'd share my tests so far for this month as we seem to have a similar cycle length and ov pattern. They are definitely also getting lighter and all over the place

I have 1 DD , MMC in April , we have been trying but this month i have started to track and do the tests as my AF have been all over the place since the MMC. I think it peaked last night so i’m hoping this means i’m ovulating

It definitely looks slightly darker to me! Hopefully any day now

I think maybe tomorrow I'll get a positive opk.. my test this evening was just smidge lighter than the control

Mine go from nothing to positive in a few hours. I can usually tell I’m going to ovulate though because I get EWCM a few days before so just keep testing until I get the peak.

OP those look like a peak to me. My lines are not always super dark but the app must learn over time what peak looks like for you as I now ‘peak’ at around 0.7 (using premom app). You might find tomorrow your lines are faded again.
