Anyone else starting their TWW? I'm 1dpo and need help staying sane whilst I google all of the symptoms under the sun 😂😂 currently googling "how does your cervix feel if you've conceived" lol

pretty much normal, I’ve been feeling the slightest cramps in my lower tummy and peeing a bit more than my usual but I don’t know really.

normally don’t feel much for AF either so who knows 🤷‍♀️

gonna try my best to wait till mid to end next week before testing as at least would be something like 12/13 dpo guestimating it? And within that 6 days early testing that some tests could pick up.

would be lovely to be first time lucky but not counting on it!

I guess we’re both not feeling much today! I could have been imagining the slight cramps I’ve been having but if I do feel like that is only before AF comes/during and its not nearly that time yet so a little hopeful.

I came off the pill in January so I could get used to my cycles since I’ve been on it for almost 15 years so I had no clue what to expect since I last was a teenager 😂 and my AF came very young at only 9 years old so I wanted to start trying as soon as we got married and here we are!

also started to take pre natals in January in preparation but can only stomach gummy ones like Bassetts as I’m terrible at taking pills so hopefully that’s good enough!

great that the weekend is here as I was pretty tired yesterday unusually but the weather is crap in Wales!

@CatiaR that's definitely a good idea. I gave in to early testing and although it scratched an itch, with each negative tests I got less and less confident. Tbf before my last 2 pregnancies I didn't have many symptoms but I don't feel like af is due either so I've either got my dates off or who knows 😂 I'm going to do a cheapie tomorrow I think at 12dpo and save my digital for Tuesday when my period is due unless there's something on the cheapie of course lol xx

@thejollytrolleydolly yeah I get it. I’m probably try a cheapie first towards the end of the week if I can avoid testing, I got a boots early detection too so if I hold off I might try that one first. Then I have a single digital test like you said to use when AF is due or after.

if I stress out it’s normal for AF to delay a week so hopefully not the case this time. This cycle was just finished before our wedding day literally at the start of the month so hopefully the stress levels have been lower! 😊

hopefully we get our BFPs soon but if not there’s always next month! I’ve literally just started so I know I got time but its always the worry I guess of wondering if neither of us has any fertility issues since its our first.

@CatiaR congratulations on getting married how exciting! Which area of Wales are you in?

I did another cheap this morning and it was the same as yesterday afternoon.

@MrsB262 North Wales is lovely! We also go visit West Wales a lot! Basically I'm in love with Wales, very different to where I grew up in the south east 😂

@Hotmalibu94 we went to Brecon on a family holiday (mum's 60th) when I was pregnant with my first it was beautiful but I was very sick so I'd love to go back! I'm a true northerner, verging on Scotland 😂 I don't think I've ever been to the South East!

@CatiaR it's stunning, we really want to explore south Wales but it's ideal that we have free lodgings to explore the North! My mum also does a spot of babysitting for us too so we can have a date night when we are visiting which is bliss! It's really hard being so far away from family

When did you guys start getting your BFP? Only 8 dpo here and trying to resist all urges to test haha! Boobs are sore, had a dull ache for two days 5 and 6 dpo and very slight nausea. But very aware I could be clutching at straws or imagining those symptoms!

@july89 DPO 9 was my first test but it was so faint I was questioning it so if I had will power I would really wait until today about 12DPO but hey we won't judge if you decide to test! Fingers crossed for you!

Hi all - i hope you don't mind me joining. Im currently 7DPO and not got any symptoms really yet but driving myself crazy! Not sure whether to test 10DPO or not...

Also, my BBT thermometer broke on Wednesday and I haven't had my usual temp rise (not sure if it's broke or I'm just trying to make myself feel better). I have really long cycles and got OPK on CD40..!

Can someone look at the graph and see if I actually am 7DPO I'm not good at working these things out! It's strange as I had CM almost a week before the positive OPK which is strange!

@Hotmalibu94 not terribly far from me then! Depending on which side of Brecon tho, I’d say I’m closer to Cardiff than Brecon per se but it’s lovely there. We brought my family around that came to our wedding from abroad a few weeks ago.

@MrsB262 yeah that definitely helps. All my family is abroad and most of my husbands as well so less around, but the in-laws are about 1h drive. Although I don’t mind not seeing them too often 🙈 we lived with them for 2 years and definitely think we like them in smaller doses 😂

Hi @ABLOSSOM welcome! I don't know anything about BBT charts I'm afraid. I bought a thermometer and used it for the grand total of one morning! It's in my drawer to use again next cycle if needed though.

I haven't tested today after my "probably not a line line" on Friday morning I figured it would take at least a days break to actually see if anything was there. Don't actually have any tests in the house. Do I go out this evening to grab one and use tomorrow if no AF? (App says AF due tomorrow) or not bother going back out tonight but pick one up tomorrow or Monday and hang on til Tuesday morning to test if still no AF? (When I think AF is actually due)

I'm Northern England but not as far North as nearly Scotland @MrsB262! xx

@ABLOSSOM welcome! Same here not a clue about graphs as I didn’t test anything but I’m estimating to be 8dpo today so similar times.

this evening got really sore boobs and AF is not due for another week so hopefully it’s a good sign. Apart from very light cramping on and off I’ve not had much symptoms at all.

gonna try my best to resist testing until closer to end of week next week!

I feel really down today :( i had a very faint bfp on 9 dpo (or maybe it was an evap). Since then all tests have been negative. I guess I have strong PMS. AF should arrive on Monday. Cant wait for it to come, as I am sick and tired of this tww.😬

@AP27 that's rubbish 😔 I felt rough and down yesterday evening and was convinced it was AF on the way. Just tried not to think about it either way today and will wait and see what comes next couple of days.
Can you at least treat yourself to a takeaway or some treats and a cosy night on the sofa this evening? Xx

I got my BFP but haven’t missed af yet. Been cramping on and off today and yesterday and I’m just worried! First pregnancy, and I don’t know how early your uterus starts growing. Also scared to Google anything 😂
is cramping normal this early?

@CatiaR I have my dad about 40 mins away but he just about copes with the 2 kids he definitely wouldn't manage 3 😂 and we have nothing to do with husbands family because they're all useless! Having family abroad must be hard. Cramping and sore boobs is a good sign!

@hannahgayle I'm having lots of mild cramping, I can't remember it in previous pregnancies but I'm taking it as a good sign ATM as I definitely didn't have it in my miscarriages. Fingers crossed for a sticky bean for you 🤞🏻

@Bubblesandtroubles thank you! I feel like I should stop with the BBT as it's making me overthink - I think I'm making it worse for myself and putting loads of pressure on me!

I would hold off getting a test and just go tomorrow if no AF - I know the feeling of just wanting to know. The TWW is awful!!

@CatiaR thank you & it's nice to have someone around the same window of TWW. Those symptoms are similar to mine - my nipples have been sensitive since after OPK and starting to go mild but still there which is very new (but probably overthinking it!) and had the odd twinge every now and then but doubt it's anything as it's too early! When do you think you'll test? I have FRER's coming on Monday but not sure if to wait until AF due (next Sunday).

@MrsB262 I thought so as the app says this but also heard it's the day before BBT spike so would make me 4/5DPO. I think I'm just overthinking it all now! 🤦🏻‍♀️

@AP27 sorry to hear about your negatives... I know how you are feeling I am getting so emotional during this TTC journey. I have long cycles and currently CD48 so just upsetting that if/when AF appears it's another long stretch until we try again.... I know people can conceive on long cycles but starting to think the worst.

This forum is great though having people to talk to and share the emotions with! Do something you enjoy to distract yourself - films, books or even wine 🤣🙈 keep us updated and I hope you get your BFP! X

@july89 first saw a squinted of a line 8dpo but questioning myself, a definite faint positive on easy@home at 9dpo, then tried a CB digital and got 1-2 weeks at 10dpo. Now 12dpo and it's pretty strong but not as strong as the control line yet. Had implantation spotting at 6dpo and it takes a few days for hcg to build. Had twinges pretty much since ovulation!
