@fleur89 fingers and toes crossed for you!! We recently moved into a 3 bed house, we were in a small 2 bed before and there was absolutely no way we could of fit another child in (I mean we probably could but it was very stressful and cramped with 4 of us) so now we are happily in our bigger home I'm desperate for it to happen... if I had known we would find somewhere I could of been trying a lot sooner!! 😅

@Hotmalibu94 I've got everything crossed for you! I'm going to try and wait until Friday but tbh I think Friday might still be too early 🫣 screw it I might do it tomorrow!!

july89 · 19/07/2023 22:14

Good luck everyone and so exciting to see some bfp's coming through!! Fingers crossed for all.

Day 6 post ov today and no real symptoms. Sore boobs seem to have eased up, had very slight cramps but so slight didn't even know if they were in my head and then weirdly super sensitive teeth!! Who knows!

I'm not sure what's worse the constant symptom spotting or day 1 of trying to potty train my 2 year old. The two combined is quite something haha.

MrsB262 · 20/07/2023 06:30

I caved! I think I have the faintest positive, I need to try and hold off a couple of days now 😬
What's the most reliable pregnancy test people have bought?

CatiaR · 20/07/2023 06:36

Ooh @MrsB262 fingers crossed for you!

I definitely need to wait till end of next week otherwise will 100% be too early 😂

I only have cheapies but then I think I’ll buy a digital clear blue if AF doesn’t make an appearance

thejollytrolleydolly · 20/07/2023 06:38

@MrsB262 the boots early detection are meant to be good. They sussed out my false readings on my frers. I really like the clear blue ultra early digital! I got the faintest line on a regular clear blue then used the digital the next morning and got "pregnant" in plain writing 😊 x

thejollytrolleydolly · 20/07/2023 06:40

So I've done another test this morning and it's white as a sheet so either my frer was ANOTHER dud or the test isn't strong enough... I normally don't get a positive until the day AF is due. I might try and hold out until Sunday (AF is due Tuesday) and do a digital. I'm running out of tests 😂😂

ThelastRolo20 · 20/07/2023 06:51

@thejollytrolleydolly oh sorry to hear that! Hopefully it's just because it's early still. Mine was white as a sheet too so considering myself out (which means I can have a glass of wine with a friend tonight so silver linings!)

Onto next month xx

ThelastRolo20 · 20/07/2023 06:55

@MrsB262 congratulations 🎉 very exciting :) xx

thejollytrolleydolly · 20/07/2023 06:55

@ThelastRolo20 it's ok, with my last 2 pregnancies I haven't got positive's until the very last minute!! For example this was my test the day before AF was due last time it's soooo faint!!

@CatiaR I would share my test to get all your eyes but apparently my windowsill is the dustiest place ever 😂 and then the dust stuck to the test 🤣

@thejollytrolleydolly ooh thank you, will try get some! I've got everything crossed for you, also due on Tuesday so now I want to try and wait until Sunday 🤞🏻

thejollytrolleydolly · 20/07/2023 07:13

@MrsB262 let's do it! Digital Sunday!! We should both have our answers then!

I don't know about anyone else but I don't have any symptoms today! Apart from the spots that popped up yesterday I feel completely normal! I remember feeling a lack of symptoms closer to af being due the last couple of times. It was my telltale that I was pregnant because I wasn't grumpy and crampy 😂

OP posts:
CatiaR · 20/07/2023 07:18

@MrsB262 thats funny 😂 maybe the next one then in a different location!

I normally don’t feel anything for AF apart from the occasional sore boobs and very slight cramping at times so its hard to tell for me. Yesterday felt like I would be starting AF but that’s still a week ish away so who knows.

probably will try cheapies early to mid next week as I guestimate i would be around 11/12dpo and probably will pick up some early detection from boots closer to the time and a cb digital if AF doesn’t turn up at the end of the month so fingers crossed 🤞

can’t wait for everyones updates!

now off to get ready to go to the office, pup gets to come with me so need to get the two of us ready 😊

have a great day everyone I shall lurk around later!

Myna13 · 20/07/2023 07:37

@MrsB262 Yayy! Hoping your line gets darker over the next few days.

@thejollytrolleydolly maybe the hcg in your urine wasn't as concentrate enough to show on the test this morning since it's still early days. Definitely test again closer to AF and keep us updated. Hoping for a nice, clear line for you!

@CatiaR it's so lovely that your doggo gets to go to work with you! I work from home and refuse to get an office job unless I can take my doggo's in with me 😅

@ThelastRolo20 enjoy your glass of wine tonight! And I really hope next month is the month for you

ThelastRolo20 · 20/07/2023 08:42

Thanks @Myna13 also taking silver lining that my cycles are a normal length again so taking the super short one last month as an anomaly.

Hope you're feeling good today x

thejollytrolleydolly · 20/07/2023 08:44

@Myna13 I know! I'm going to wait until Sunday now rather than waste a load of tests that probably won't pick up anything anyway! Ugh I'm just starting to get really anxious about it all and worrying if what I have done is enough... maybe this is the pregnancy fear though aaargh I just want to know 😂

Update!

Got my digital BFP at 10dpo.

Very nervous as I had a MMC in March and retained products (RPOC) that didn't pass until June.... so essentially I was "positive" from January until June and this was my first cycle since the MMC - and indeed since giving birth to my daughter in early 2022 because I fell pregnant before my first period in January of this year.

Really hoping this sticks as have been in and out of hospital all year while doctors tried to sort out my RPOC.

Second time around I do not have sore boobs at all - that was my biggest symptom with my daughter. At 6dpo I had one wipe of spotting, around 1-4dpo and then again around 8/9dpo I had lots of twinges and shooting pains / light cramping sensations. I feel a bit of nausea today and have been bloated for a few days but besides that no symptoms.

This is what worked for me but tbh it's all anecdotal... I cut out sugar apart from 90% dark chocolate (good for boosting progesterone) in early June, have been taking FH Pro since the MMC (also took with my daughter who was conceived first cycle), followed an oestrogen friendly diet at the beginning of my cycle and progesterone friendly one after ovulation (literally just googled which foods boost and included them), and use progesterone cream from Now Foods daily.

Here is easy@home progression in case helpful. Still super faint so still worried... tww anxiety is the worst. Saw the tiniest shadow at 8dpo and then some progression at 9dpo and 10dpo. Hopefully will continue

ThelastRolo20 · 20/07/2023 09:21

Hey @thejollytrolleydolly if I'm back to a "normal" cycle I'd be 10dpo so I'd expect it to show on a frer. It's okay, I'm happy to count myself out, got a few meet ups with family over the next couple of weeks where I can now have a drink, and my next ovulation is due around my husband's birthday so good timing there haha :) xx

CatiaR · 20/07/2023 09:23

@MrsB262 It's a great place to work to be fair, I work in the office and from home and Bailey gets to come with me all the time, she's been here from day 1 of getting her home, since she was 10 weeks old and she is 9 months next week!

@fleur89 congrats!

CatiaR · 20/07/2023 09:34

oops tagged the wrong person it should have been for @Myna13

Myna13 · 20/07/2023 10:57

@fleur89 congratulations!! ❤It's so lovely to see your line progression. Hoping this is a sticky one for you!

@CatiaR Aww! Your work place sounds amazing! Where I work used to be pet friendly, but I worked from home through covid and their now not pet-friendly. So looks like I'm not going back to office now :(

@ThelastRolo20 love your positivity. I can't help feeling horrible because I've had all these symptoms that I don't normally have and still not got my BFP. AF due today/tomorrow and it's not here yet. I would like for it to come so I stop thinking about what ifs!

@thejollytrolleydolly what you've done is definitely enough. Unfortunately, we can't control how our bodies work, and a lot of getting pregnant is just the right things happening in our bodies at the right time. Try not to be too anxious. I know it's easier said than done. I'm an anxious wreck myself. Just know that you're not doing this alone! And maybe by Sunday you will get a lovely, clear BFP! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

PS - I've been doing a lot of reading ladies (thanks Google), and statistically (I don't know what stats and who collected them, so don't ask), most people get their BFPs around 14-15dpo. So if AF hasn't arrived, it might be worth just waiting and testing on 15dpo. Maybe this is the bit of hope you needed to read today?

ThelastRolo20 · 20/07/2023 11:10

Hi @Myna13 I know, the extra symptoms are horrible aren't they. And it's absolutely fine to feel rubbish about it all, it really is. I always feel more positive day 1 of AF as it means I've officially moved on. Do you have nice weekend plans to distract you? X

thejollytrolleydolly · 20/07/2023 11:19

@ThelastRolo20 that's a good way to think about it! I was so chilled in my view towards TTC at the beginning of the year but since the mc I feel like I'm just desperate to have a baby back in me 🙈 I love the positivity! Enjoy those drinks!

@Myna13 I know, my test the day before my period last time was so faint and even after my period was due with my daughter the positives weren't particularly dark! I'm terrible for comparing my journey with other peoples though and I need to stop it! I think the anxiety is extra at the minute because I am wondering if I'm pregnant or not and also waiting to hear back about my interview so I'm literally checking my emails every 5 minutes... my head feels like a war zone at the minute 😅 if only I could have wine to sort me out 😂😂 xx
