Dpo 1, tww keep sane

Hello!

TTC #2, 36 yo. I should be dpo 1 today, I could feel ovulation yesterday evening, had peak opk yesterday morning.

I will try to test only on day when AF due, so next Sunday, as I've had 2 chemicals so unfortunately not expecting magic.

@BlossomTree123 that definitely looks positive. Do you have any brand tests? My cheap strips and still relatively faint but I have pretty good lines on everything else now!

So did another one step test and can see the faintest line (on the one I peed on) and then dipped the other from urine in a pot, and the one I dipped in a pot is negative. Including a easy@home and CB test.

so I’m thinking the one step ones are faulty and giving false positives. Ok just going to wait to see if AF arrives now

Another bfn for me this morning and now cramps so I guess I’ll start looking ahead to the next cycle now. I’ve just read about SMEP so I’ll try that next cycle. Does anyone know if you have to wait exactly a year to go to the doctor about fertility or is 12 cycles enough?

AF is due today and after the CB confusion I wont test again unless shes not here by tomorrow.

I am so so sorry for those who have just got AF and huge congrats to those who have got their bfps!!!!

I have a tmi question. So normally my cervix is really low about a week before AF and stays that way until she arrives. It's not come down yet and is really high, but still really firm. Did anyone with a bfp have a really hard high cervix??

@BlossomTree123 that line is looking promising?! How many dpo now?🤞🏼I would say the start of your bfp..!!
i’m alright, I’m putting it down as a chemical… I am bleeding now much heavier than usual. I’m normally a very light bleeder but this is much more! Hey ho, try again in 2 weeks lol!

@BlossomTree123 if they are giving false positives would maybe explain my tests too… wouldn’t explain why I came on earlier than expected tho as that really is unusual for me. But maybe I was stressing too much about this cycle 🤷🏼‍♀️hmmm

@missmae i think mine was def a false positive as BFN on all since! I’ve read the reviews online about them and loads get false positives. So maybe yours is AF earlier than normal??

@BlossomTree123 yeah I was thinking this too! maybe it is early, maybe my fault from all the obsessing I’ve done this month 😂 I’ve also done a lottt of exercise and yoga this month too, so possibly!! X

I’m 8 dpo today and I feel like I’ve lost all symptoms 😩 I know it’s probably too early to use an early detection CB but I’m itching to see whether it could be there. My common sense is saying to wait - what would you ladies do?

Did another one step, the one I did is positive the one above I did with water and negative. But negative on other brands. So had to be a false

Hi everyone. Ever had a water mark on a Boots test? I'm not sure it's visible on here but I see something reaaaally faint on my test that looks like a water mark.

@cth96 possibly evap of some sort - wait and retest on a couple of days -
13-14dpo atm and bfn x2 today ! 😢 of course I have gone through old posts to see how late ppl can switch from bfn to bfp - I do have pcos but was sure I ovulated around the 2nd due to cm and smiley - I had a little spotting a few days later which I thought was odd so maybe I could have ovulated a little later but breasts are super sore today and HUGE ! Feel exhausted and mind is busy with thinking about all if this now - af due in the next few days but I always count from ov date +14-17 rather than a cycle day as mine vary so much - but if I’m out I just want to move on to the next one .. any more ppl testing and still hoping for bfp this cycle ?

@BlossomTree123 It depends on which other tests you tried, but I am so surprised about an evap that looks like that. Sorry no help here

@Tes004 urgh sorry you had bfns today. I have heard stories of ovulation few days later and getting bfps later, but if you're sure of ovulation, the chances are slimmer beyond dpo 13... Hope you get some answers soon.

@Maybebaby12345 I've not actually checked cervix. The times I did and was pregnant it seemed low and soft, but I stopped checking after reading that it might lead to infection. Also I feel like I'm never sure if it's really my cervix 😂

@PuddleSplosher I think if you want you can just tell your doctor you tried a year (12 cycles sounds it was almost a year?) And get started on tests if you want? Do you feel confident you ovulate? Even a simple test like hormones on certain cycle days can put your mind at ease. Feel free to join us next cycle anyway!

@cosymama2020 I would probably wait to test at least until dpo 10. Dpo 10 is my weak point, I start getting really anxious to test especially if I see others testing and getting bfps haha. But it seems dpo 12 is a good starting point, and I'll try to wait till then next cycle. Fingers crossed for you!

@missmae I also got AF 1 day earlier which happens rarely. It seems more likely that it was an evap than chemical because usually you'd see quite a few bfps before chemical, and from my experience bleeding starts after AF.

I'm also 13DPO today (by opks, CM and pain) but still holding out hope and googling like mad haha. Period due on Wednesday. Will keep you posted!

I'm 11DPO by temp rise, but I'm sure I ovulated earlier than that because of everything else x

@bookworm100 what do you mean by temp rise ? Do you count differently vs a peak test ? This confuses me - I’m now wondering if I ov later than what I thought - but I had static smile and ewcm then 4 days later temp went up slightly - but had another cheap positive lh test 5 days after with some ewcm with slight brown tinge - like ov bleed - I have pcos sooo never really sure if lh surge is the right one for ovulation x
