Dpo 1, tww keep sane

TTC #2, 36 yo. I should be dpo 1 today, I could feel ovulation yesterday evening, had peak opk yesterday morning.

I will try to test only on day when AF due, so next Sunday, as I've had 2 chemicals so unfortunately not expecting magic.

I’m a day away and all negatives now
sad times but hey ho

if for some sad reason another thread does go up with members let me know ☺️😉

however I hope to see none of you as you’ll all be pregnant of course 🍀✨

@longingtobe23 honestly please don’t count yourself out until AF shows! With my first DC I didn’t get my BFP until I was 4 days late. And that was on a first response, Clearblue didn’t come up positive for me until I was a week late! I was having doctors ringing saying my blood tests were showing as positive but the tests were negative. There’s still hope until AF. I know it’s really hard and so disheartening but sometimes a woman’s body likes to keeps us on our toes!

I felt like the start of this week was dragging and now I can’t believe how quickly it’s gone. I’m either 5/6 dpo today (5 by Flo tracking, 6 by opks). I’m definitely overthinking the gas cramps and thinking they’re implantation but think I might be a bit early for that?

So I had a couple of glasses of Prosecco last night to chill and toast to some big work news and I felt smashed. I had to go to bed at 9pm! Woke up this morning and did a 6am spin class as I felt a big groggy (hungover) but I can normally sink a bottle of bubbles and just feel very merry. 2 glasses and I was giggling, flirting, liking everyone’s Instagram posts 😂

Out of interest, how long has everyone been trying for? This is our first cycle properly trying with opks but I’ve been off contraception since May.

So a weird symptom, but my left nipple is itchy sorry TMI but this a conception chat after all 😂😂

never had before but is it a symptom? Who knows anymore, feel I’m going crazy!

@MrsP20202 how are you? Aww I know when symptoms go, it is worrying, but in my pregnancy they came and went every other day, it seems to be super normal! And every pregnancy is different, but I definitely understand how hard it is to be pregnant after a loss. When are you booking your scan? Keep us updated!

@missmae ohhh I know what you mean, it is hard to manage expectations during tww, so many ups and downs. I also tested negative yesterday and this morning, but don't count yourself out yet! It's the weekend anyway, so the time will hopefully pass easier with more to do.

@Plumsugarlump I had implantation bleeding on day of AF, it's possible!

@HelloMoon87 we’re trying for DC3 and I’ve never had bleeding before but that’s reassuring to hear!

BFN again this morning but no more bleeding, going to try and wait it out until Monday/Tuesday before I test again as I get so disappointed even though I know it’s early to test 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

@Tes004 I'm good! I had a really good night of sleep, so insomnia is gone as of yesterday. I did wake up few times but gone back to sleep right back.
It has been the weirdest tww for me, I've had so many symptoms on and off, I've convinced myself I'm pregnant at times and then other times I know I'm not pregnant 😂
Right now, I'm just taking it day by day, going to try to have a nice weekend with the family.

Btw, those with young kids, how do you manage to dtd on those important days? 😂 I'm so tired after putting my son to sleep that I don't feel like doing anything but netflix haha. Also sometimes stressed trying to finish work after putting him to sleep 😴

@Plumsugarlump how many dpo are you? Disclaimer on implantation bleeding, I had a chemical with that one, but with my first (successful) pregnancy, I had some bleeding on and off throughout the first few weeks. Do you normally spot? I never spot, so if I get some spotting, I know I'm pregnant

@cosymama2020 we've been trying for #2 since December! It took us 9 months with #1, so I'll only start getting worried after that. Also we've had 2 chemicals, so it seems I can get pregnant but the hard part comes after...

@longingtobe23 yes! Even if I'm magically pregnant haha, I'll still create a new thread for us to keep in touch. I am so happy I can talk to people about what's happening, I feel so lonely during tww and the whole TTC in general.

@Tes004 i am 11dpo today and a bfn!! thought I saw a shadow pop up within the time frame but phone can’t pick it up so I am convinced I am now seeing things. I know I’m not out until af arrives but I just have that ‘feeling’ that I am out this month!

@HelloMoon87 yes you are right, I shouldn’t have started testing early! It’s not stopping me tho! 😂 I am working this weekend so yes hopefully it goes by quicker and I am more distracted!

This shadow appeared within the time frame but I’m still not convinced and losing my mind. I have a headache today I’m sure it’s my fault I have one 😂😂😂

@BlossomTree123 noo I don’t! I’m trying not to waste any money on those tests until I actually get a clear line 😭 I feel like my tests keep giving me evaps or just messing with me!!

@missmae I definitely see something! Can you try with frer, though I don't want to be an enabler and get you testing so early.

Every time I'm going to get bfn, I'll do something I like! It's the only way 😁

that’s a good idea! I did go to the cinema last night with my friend which was nice but the film was wank! I do not recommend insidious red door !

@missmae i would try with a FRER if you have them, they are more accurate aren’t they. How many days is AF away?

I tested this morning, BFN! I have one step ones coming too this afternoon. I have a CB but waiting to use it closer to AF as I’m 6 days away

@HelloMoon87 i know it’s so easy to be disheartened isn’t it!! You’re not out yet either, like others have said they didn’t test positive until after AF was due. Maybe we ovulated later we never know!!
