I’m currently 3/4dpo and driving myself insane, first month TTC our second, bigger age gap as my DD is currently 4.5!

trying very very hard not to symptom spot as well, I know it’s waaay to early for me to experience anything but hey… doesn’t stop me thinking about it 🤣🤣

I have a couple of cheapies tucked away in a drawer which means I'll make it to 8dpo max before I start testing. I'll be 8dpo on july 9th which is our wedding anniversary so it would be great to get a bfp but I've never had one that early before with my previous pregnancies.

@Hmeeg wouldn't that be lovely if it did time with the anniversary!! What day have you historically got your BFP? I'm 11 DPO today and not even a whiff of a line so I think I'm out :(

I'm 11 DPO and it's a huge BFN for me today :( sob sob. Thinking we're probably out now! AF due on Saturday but I won't get it until I stop taking my progesterone pessaries.

@lisbeth1 I have 4 children and the first 3 never had more than a vvvvvfl before missed period. My 4th I did start getting faint positives from about 10 dpo but I also wasnt sure of ovulation that month so was only going by my app predictions. But I've never had a standard bfp until around 15 or 15 dpo and my due stealers are about a week after that

@Hmeeg thanks for sharing - most people on here get BFP (even light) around 8/9 dpo so I can't even have wishful thinking lol. So lovely about your 4 kids - do you know how many more you want (if that's not too personal to ask)? One of my aunts and uncle had six kids so I had the benefit of loads of cousins which was lovely :)

@lisbeth1 this will be my last baby. I was 23 when we had our first, 26 when we had our second and 29 when we had our third. Then our fourth was born when I was 32 and there was a noticable difference physically speaking between my pregnancies in my 20s and the one in my 30s. I'm now 35 and I'm looking forward to hopefully having one more and then being done. As my 4th was an emergency c section and my hospital doesn't do vbac, I'll be having a c section again so will get my tubes cut/tied then.

@Hmeeg my sis had an emergency c sec which I know she found very scary with her first baby so she had an elective c-sec for her second, I think it made her feel more in control :)

@lisbeth1 it was very difficult and the recovery is hard as well, but I would still love one more even tho I know it will be hard. I really really hope you're not out yet and get a bfp this month x

Hey all! Hoping to join.. currently 2po for #1.
Haven't been very strict in terms of OPK testing etc, however did DTD around when I usually ovulate so I guess we're in the race!

My test was still on the side in the bathroom from this morning. I thought I saw a shadow but no definable line when I first took it, now it’s dry with a squinter.

I know it’s out of the timeframe so it’s probably an evap line, I had awful evap lines on frer last month that came up in the timeframe that got my hopes up so bad. All my previous negative tests were always still stark white even after drying on easy@home but I know I’m being silly I just want it so bad!

Would someone be able to help me? Is this positive? I’m currently 12dpo and took a boots early response test. The line didn’t come up straight away so I thought it was negative. Was going to bin it and then looked again within 5 mins and there was a faint line. Low key freaking out as it was our first cycle ttc baby no2 and I didn’t expect it to happen so quick! The line is pink, I’m not sure if that shows on the photo. Thanks in advance

@Laylattc I can see something too! But I think you need to test again tomorrow and next day because it was outside the timeframe. aaaghhh it's so tough isn't it!

@katieelizabeth34 definitely a line there but I think you need to keep testing so no horrid surprises - only because you said it was outside of the timeframe. Have you any other tests you can use at the same time?

@lisbeth1 Thank you. I’ll test again tomorrow first thing. I’ve just thought could be that ovulation was later than I thought. My cycles tend to vary by a day or two. I only have the basic strip tests but can try one of those at the same time as the boots first response.

Still having the brownish spotting that has been going on since Thursday but now I just have in and tested and this looks like a BFP to me?
