Pregnancy symptoms after miscarriage?

Hello!

I recently had a MMC at 10 weeks, baby had stopped growing at 5 weeks. The bleeding stopped 4 weeks ago and myself and my partner have done a fair amount of BD in the interim. I already have one 2 year old daughter and the pregnancy symptoms I had with her were pretty similar to the ones I had before the MC. I have had back ache and light cramping for a few days now and assumed AF was on the way but they keep coming and going and I haven't had anything yet. Cervix isn't very low either and I'm wondering if it's AF or potentially early pregnancy. My question is, for those who conceived straight after MC or the next month after MC what were your symptoms like? Were they the same as any other pregnancies or different? I'm always curious to hear about others experiences Smile

Well wow.... This is exactly my situation!! Following to hear the same too!!

I had my mmc beginning if may.... Long drawn out due to rpoc finally stopped bleeding 6th june... Ovulated 18th June... I'm now 9dpo and have MEGA bad symptoms.... But they've been intense since 3dpo...so I don't know if it means I'm going to get my AF early and a horrid one with it being the first one... Or if its early pregnancy 🤷‍♀️

I also have a 2 year old girl 😅

High cervix
AF style cramps
Back ache
Leg pain
Dizziness
Insomnia
Sweats
I had a spot of blood yesterday am nothing since
Now I have yellow tinted cm

Oh hey! Goodness me that must have been awful bleeding for so long after your MC!

I'm in the same boat, been having backache for what seems like forever! Flo app seems to think I will have AF this weekend. On a normal cycle I would have backache and cramps the day before AF, 2 days at most but I've been having cramps for days and nothing yet. I did a cheapie today which was negative but I'm not sure when I ovulated so I have no idea what dpo I am 🙈 I've ordered some FRER's to do in the next few days if nothing had happened but I don't really have any other symptoms to suggest I'm pregnant so who knows... this is why I was wondering if symptoms were different after a MC because I'm living in hope 😂

How did you know when you were ovulating? Did you use the strips? I might try them next month if this month is a bust x

@thejollytrolleydolly well I'm the same, flo app says this weekend and I've had cramping and back pain for 5 days now 🤷‍♀️ I've no idea what's normal or what's not that was my first MC so I'm stuck really

Yes I get OV pain too so I depend on the tests and the pain to tell me when I ovulated and that's how I feel pregnanct first cycle with my MC.

And I've no idea actually never thought of bv 😂😂😂

Actually no.... BV is usually grey/white watery and it has a fishy odour apparently....

I've read a few women on here have yellow tinted cm then a bfp 🤞

I've seen watery yellow tinted cm mentioned before af on Google this afternoon but never experienced that before... Wonder if that's possible for first period after MMC 🤔

So I've done some digging and talking on other forums etc...

People are saying this could well be our first period coming, the cramping discharge etc can be longer and worse 🤦‍♀️ obviously we've never had a miscarriage before to have anything to compare it to...

I was hopeful I was preg but now I'm a bit down n if it is period it better just hurry up and come coz I'm sick of waiting n being in pain 😪

No idea of the answers to your questions but interested to hear your experiences as I had a MMC at the end of April (found at 12 weeks, measuring around 9) and keen for all the information I can get about what’s ahead. My MC has been complicated (RPOC, still bleeding…) but I’m hoping it’ll sort out soon so I can feel better and get back to TTC. Good luck to you both!

I also had rpoc and needed antibiotics for an infection 😪 nightmare isn't it

Yes mine feel like full on period is about to burst through any second I'm nearly certain it will be here by tomorrow... Tbh I can't wait I feel like I need a good clear out 😪

Same!! I've been carrying emergency pads and tampons everywhere because I was adamant it would come but still no sign... I hate this take every day as it comes rubbish! I need some structure 😂 x

Omg same I am the most impatient, structured person ever 😅 I've been wearing a pad for 2 days now just in case cos I feel like I'm gonna burst 🤷‍♀️😅

Any changes today @Kellyaust? My bloating and cramps had completely gone this morning and I would have bet money that AF was coming today. I've just started having very gentle cramps again just now and have had a few shooting pains and a couple bouts of nausea throughout the day. I think I might do a HPT tomorrow if still nothing. X

@thejollytrolleydolly well I did a test again bfn.... Tbh I think I've got a yeast infection from the antibiotics after the mmc 😪 just been to get some meds now. Really don't think I'm preg I think my symptoms are all down to an infection!!

Fingers crossed for you and plz update me if you do a hpt 🤞🤞

Oh no! That sucks! Fingers crossed that clears up for you quickly! I'll let you know what the test says tomorrow, I reckon it will be negative but you never know!! Been having some more nausea this evening so I just don't know. I hate all of this symptom spotting rubbish. Can they just invent something so that we know straight away 😅 x

We should invent a gps tracking system for our ovaries that attaches to each released egg 😅 now that would be amazing! Hopefully it's a bfp for you I'll keep my fingers crossed 🤞

@Kellyaust yes did the CB and a bfn unfortunately but still not a smidge of red! Got some frers delivered today so I'll probably do that tomorrow and if still negative I think I'll count myself out this cycle! How are you doing? Xx
