Starting this thread after an early loss in May. I’m trying to conceive again asap as I feel ready. Would be lovely to have others join for mutual support x

@worldwidetravel2017 good luck for the next few days!
Do you feel your food and vitamins have made a difference?

@worldwidetravel2017 good luck for the next few days!
Do you feel your food and vitamins have made a difference?

Unfortunately i had glandular fever 14 ish months ago

My vit D is currently good - actimel & vit D tablet helps this - deffo - & vit D is important in pregnancy

Zinc yes cuz i have brittle nails & issues with feretin ...

Had iron iv in May - & depending on my aug feretin number - getting iron iv again in Aug or Sept
I get my feretin checked monthly given my bodys past / current - i was a super premature baby - decent feretin levels are vital in pregnancy- if feretin too low - like mine was 8 b4 iron iv - i could not of safely carried a child then
Was252 after iron iv
Its currently 100 - which is ok but needs watching

B12 is also very important in conception and potential pregnancy - im likeky getting injection 4 b12 in august to improve mine - glandular fever wrecked my body basically

Cereal 4 iron & b12
Banana 4 progesterone
2 satsumas a day towards vits etc

Had beetroot lately as gd 4 b12

Hi all - I will probably make a separate thread also about this but just after some advice re SMEP and ovulation tests as it’s driving me around the bend. I had a chemical pregnancy at the start of June (TTC cycle 1) had a cycle (TTC cycle 2) and we have now started SMEP plan this cycle (TTC cycle 3). I have regular cycles between 28-31 days, the previous two cycles I have ovulated around CD18-20 for cycle 1 we used the clear blue pink digital only. For cycle 2 we used Premom easy@home OPKs. This month we are doing SMEP and using Premom easy@home OPKs to track ovulation, I did do a pink clear blue digital which showed a static smiley which I know their threshold is 0.4. I’m just confused/wanted a second opinion if I have missed my surge overnight on CD14-15 (pics attached of cycle 2 and current cycle). Would welcome thoughts about how to go about this with SMEP plan.

Many thanks

H

Hi @CatLadyH i use the strip tests too and I am with you on how they are frustrating at times.
From your pics, I’m not sure the test is as fully dark as the control on cd14 so I would inclined to keep testing and hopefully see a definite positive around cd20 again. For what it’s worth, mine was practically invisible this month in the morning and then an almost positive in the afternoon and positive the next morning so I feel they change so quickly!
In regards to Smep, I’d keen dtd every second day until you see you’re positive. I think it recommends doing that even if you don’t see a positive.
Good luck and hope that helps x

thanks so much that’s really helpful, glad it’s not just me that gets frustrated with these OPKS 😂 xx

@xxcxdonxx I’ll have a look, I’ll try anything 😅 I’m on cd2 too. Looks like we’ll be doing august smep together too then 🤣 I got the tests from: https://homehealth-uk.com/ but I’ll let you know if they arrive and seem legit. I’m on seven seas too, but I was on those great big huge ones from Pregnacare when I conceived DD. I’m also trying ubiquinol and B-complex this time 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Blessedmummytobe good luck to you, I’ve got everything crossed! It would be so wonderful to have one of us have success this month. Really rooting for you! We started trying immediately after having DD, so we’re just going into cycle 9 now, although maybe I shouldn’t count the first one. How about you?

@CatLadyH Have I missed why you think the surge is 14-15 rather than 20? I got my surge on 19 a couple of months ago and 18 last month.

I've now read up on seed cycling thanks to someone suggesting upthread. I have 3 out of 4 of the seeds at home anyway so I might half heartedly try. I've already done it wrong though because I only read you're meant to grind them after I already ate my tablespoon's worth 😬 I also take Pregnacare for conception.

CinderRosie · 26/07/2023 08:30

Finally got my first flashing smiley on CB digital this morning, CD11. Expecting I’ll get my static in 3-4 days. DTD on CD8 and yesterday CD10, will go again tomorrow awaiting that positive OPK…. How is everyone else?

ttcthoughts · 26/07/2023 10:02

@CinderRosie enjoy the next few days!

Currently 8/9DPO and not loving this TWW, I tested this morning and a stark white, I honestly don't know why I do this to myself

CinderRosie · 26/07/2023 10:25

@ttcthoughts you are me in about 10 days time 😂 I’m going to try not to test but I say that every month!

ttcthoughts · 26/07/2023 10:28

@CinderRosie Its soo hard isnt it. I just want to know now :( I have a feeling im out this month if im honest.

Blessedmummytobe · 26/07/2023 15:20

AF is here. So I see it as I get 5 solid nights of good sleep before we go again in August! And go again we shall 💪🏾

Hope everyone is well ❤️ Have a great weekend.

I’ll be back on CD8 roughly 😂x

I’ve been cramping since Saturday and my back was a bit sore. I also had a gut feeling! Other than that, no other symptoms! Still very early days so trying not to get too excited.
