Starting this thread after an early loss in May. I’m trying to conceive again asap as I feel ready. Would be lovely to have others join for mutual support x

@LittleMiss2023 im good thanks. You? So we had our peak on on CD 12 around midday and by the morning of CD 12 (roughly 24 hours later) levels had dropped so I’m hoping that means ovulation happened. I didn’t manage to check my cm though so can’t be sure when I had ewcm. We have managed CD 7,10,11,13 OD and 14. I had some odd cramps on CD 14 almost as if my period was about to show up. Today is CD 15 for me and I’m taking a break. He was just rubbing my leg I had to play dead lol. Knackered but hopeful x

Last month I had a a static on CD13 so hopefully not far away!

Ok so I got my peak this morning on CD14!

So far we have BD
CD8
CD10
CD12
CD13

so as I got my peak this morning (CD14), so do I go another 3 days in a row? That would mean 5 days in a row and not sure we could keep that up. Or should I skip today and do tomorrow and Tuesday, assuming tomorrow is Ov day. Or should we really aim for today, tomorrow and Tuesday?

If you were being super strict about it, I think you would need to go today, tomorrow and Tuesday after getting your peak. This month, I got my peak on cd17 but as we had dtd on cd 16 (when it was a very strong test line) I took cd17 to be the second day so we did cd16, cd17 and then cd19. Not full Smep rules but hopefully done the job!

Yeah I think I am going to be ok with giving tonight a miss because I think DH is exhausted! So will try again tomorrow night! 🤞🏼

Ok so I think O day is here (CD15) and we have managed the following BD days:
CD7
CD8
CD10
CD12
CD13
CD14

I know today would be an important one but after 3 days in a row, not sure how we will go today! But I think i’m happy with our efforts and if it doesn’t work this month, next month I will focus on O day!

Now the Tww begins! I want to try and hold off testing until 10 or 11DPO!

But, I think these print screens are referring to the surge, not the peak. I’ve read that once you’ve detected a peak, ovulation is likely to be 12-24 hours away. Whereas, the start of a surge could still be days away from ovulation.

I’ve also read that the egg hangs around for 12-24 hours, and sperm can get to your tubes in as little as ten mins. So, if you’ve got a morning peak, don’t worry if you can’t get to business til the evening.

At least… this is what I’m telling myself as I eagerly await a loooooong TWW from DTD on day of peak 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻

True. For me once I see a surge I take it as a peak as I know my “real peak” will be soon though it isn’t the same for everyone x

I’m feeling so crampy today! Back ache, leg ache. Feels like I’m about to come on 😟

@Blessedmummytobe was just about to post and say I'm really cramps but only CD 12 and faint line on opk this morning.

Hey @Blessedmummytobe I’m alright thanks, having a super busy stressful day trying to arrange childcare for when my mat leave ends. Interviewed three nannies today and then had a call from estate agents: ‘surprise can we squeeze someone in to view your house in an hour?!’ At baby’s bedtime 😅🙃 ahhhhhh is it the weekend yet?! I swear I’m busier on mat leave than I was when I was working!

How are you? Sorry to hear you’re cramping… but you never know, could it be implantation? I had period pains when I was expecting my first DD.

I’m 7DPO (I think 🤷🏼‍♀️), so still got a week to go til I know for sure. How early can you take a pregnancy test?

Wait… I’ve suddenly got milky discharge. Is that an early pregnancy symptom?! The slightest suggestion I could be, and I’m all butterflies and excitement 🤣 you’d have thought I’d learn by now

it could be implantation but it’s probably too early as I’m only 4 dpo. Fingers crossed either way. So easy to start spotting symptoms when you want it so badly.

Haven’t noticed my discharge tbh.

Do you mind if I also join? We have also had a couple of losses since TTC number 2. I had never heard of SMEP before until I think it was @CinderRosie saying on another post so i thought we would give it a go. I think I got my peak yesterday so do i BD the next 2 days? or is it from when I started getting high tests?

I hate the TWW part, I always end up testing at 10DPO and being disappointed.
