I'm on 1st cycle TTC DC1 💕 Not done anything to track except apps this time but fairly convinced my Flo app was pretty accurate so 🤞

The TWW is enough to drive you crazy. I found this place really helped with my first (we are now trying for DC2). It is great having people to chat to who are also in the same frustrating phase.

according to my predictions I should Ov today so I’ll be with you tomorrow, but my chart is all over the place and the CB Digi is still flashing at me so I might be a little further behind. I didn’t track last time and was incredibly lucky to fall pregnant on my first cycle just from using the predicted fertile window in my Apple health app, so I’m pretty new to the rest of it!

I'm on 3DPO I think! First cycle trying to no2. Last time I was trying I didn't even know there was such a thing as the TWW and now I'm struggling to keep my mind off anything else lol!

@Peony2021 I wonder if it was better or worse before people had access to things like early tests and ovulation tracking apparatus? I sometimes think it’s amazing being able to see so much data but at other times I kind of wish I didn’t have it to fixate on!

Yeah definitely - to be fair I still had access to all of that but was totally naive about it all! Didn't realise there was anything to be done! I think it's good there's a bit more transparency about conceiving and what things can help but it definitely is making me more aware and I don't want to try into obsession with it all!!

I used a clear blue advanced ovulation kit (what a name lol) and it essentially gave me flashing and solid smiley! Think I started testing a little late though, but I THINK we did the deed 3 days in a row including ovulation day so we shall see. How are you feeling?!

I think I ovulated yesterday which was CD12. I had random pains in my lower abdomen twice on CD11 which weren't associated with anything else and then EWCM started CD11 as well.
Managed to DTD on CD6, CD9 and CD12 so not perfect, but managed every 3 days leading up to and during the fertile window so I'm hopeful 🤞 if not I'll have to try and jump DH a bit more next month 😅

How are you feeling? Sounds pretty good for you! Fingers crossed we both managed to catch the window!

Going to try and wait to test til the end of the month as a missed period would coincide nicely with DH's birthday 🤞😁

I'm feeling fine I have to say, not hugely hopeful as my weight is higher than I would like and I'm working on getting that down in any event. Trying to view it as if it works this month great, if it doesn't then I've another few weeks to get even healthier! It's hard with summer holidays coming up 🙈

It took us 3 months for DC1 so I'm not getting too hopeful that I've managed to nail it first time around although wouldn't that be lovely lol!!

@Peony2021 I'd love to catch first time but if I don't we are going away with friends soon so at least I won't have to make an excuse for not drinking 😂 gotta think of the positives haven't we! I keep thinking it's unlikely we will manage first time but then some people do, so we aren't out til we're out!

Hello! Jumping in here as this is my first proper TWW and I’m trying to keep busy/distracted but I think talking to people on here will be really helpful! I’m 3DPO and we dtd on ovulation day and day after, couldn’t manage before as we were both working. Wondering if we’ve done it enough but then it does only take one go I guess? Been ttc on and off since about Feb but this is our first “proper” go as it were!

May I join this thread for 2ww... I'm 6dpo, ovulated 3 days later than usual and had a CP last cycle. We had a 12 week mmc in feb. I have some familiar feelings which is odd, not from the cp but early in the pregnancy. Lower back is very sore, I have disc disease so is usually sore to a level but this is reminding me of week 5 of pregnancy and the usual way I deal with the pain isn't cutting it annoyingly. Leg cramps and extremely bloated 😫. Keeping everything crossed this is it... or I'm just symptom spotting due to wanting it so much.. could be either.

Hoping we all get bfp this cycle 😊

@MrsBP15 I haven't done anything special except not wee immediately 😂 and apparently that doesn't even make a huge difference.

@DarkCrystal85 yeah Friday night I had one too many gins and was hungover yesterday, yesterday I had pizza for dinner and then sweets and crisps during the day. I have a friend staying for the weekend so it's not the usual diet 😂
Was really annoyed with myself for drinking though so I've decided to cut that out completely for now.

So at 3dpo I was feeling quite sick and I don't really get why.
Yesterday (4dpo) I was hungover so possibly masked any symptoms 😂 and then bloated in the evening.
Today at 5dpo I've felt a bit sicky again and was bloated again. And possibly more CM than Im used to in this part of my cycle? 😬 But it's only 5dpo so I can't imagine any of this is anything more than my brain going into overdrive.

Ha I know what you mean. I've spent tww telling myself I must be when I've been negative and positive so I think our bodies like to play tricks on us which is just annoying really lol

Does anyone continue to test ovulation during tww or is that just silly? I said to myself I would test every day other than when I was on my period so that I could compare tests as much as possible and look out for trends etc x

@MrsBP15 I have done cycles where I have continued to test with opk however kept thinking I was having a surge when I wasn't, the closer to AF you get the darker the lines go as they pick up a different hormone but also if pregnant they can sometimes pick that up too so in a way makes it harder to track. I often test opk from day 7 to 2 days after opk peak... the month I tested throughout just made me think I was pregnant when I actually wasn't and gave me false hope. Hope that helps.

How's everyone doing? This particular tww feels like it's lasting a lifetime... I had a CP last month and allowed myself to get super excited after seeing those faint positives only to have AF 3 days later... which you would think would put me off testing early but at 6/7dpo all I wanna do is test haha. When I was pregnant in Nov/December cycle I had faint positive at 8dpo, negative at 9dpo and 10dpo and then from 11dpo stronger positive and they got darker and darker until I was a week late and my gp said I can probably stop testing haha. It was so strange though as fmu was always faint but the evening was always stronger so i decided its cos i pee through the night but forget to go from around lunctime onward so did tests around 7-8pm after putting our 3 year old to bed. I had had a cp in September so wanted to track the lines. Unfortunately ending in mmc in feb. Possibly adding to the desperation to just be pregnant again and get the end result. Tww is a killer lol

Symptoms yesterday were headache and heartburn, today I was super achy this morning and have quite a lot of EWCM which I wouldn't usually still have so keeping my fingers crossed this is all meaning something!

Any symptom spotting from anyone else? 😁
