Please help!!!

Hi all, so I bought 2 first responses off Amazon and these were the 2 from this morning. Then I took a boots test and a digital, see pic for the boots one and the digital was negative. I know people say there’s no such things as a false positive, but could it be an evap and faulty tests? The reviews on Amazon say a few others have had false positives? What do you think? Thanks x

Ughh, ok! If these turn out to be negative, that’s awful. Thought first response tests were supposed to be good?! 🤦🏻‍♀️

It's just the indent line it drys and looks like a line , if it has colour then it's should be a bfp xx

Even when it appears within 5 mins? It’s still wet then 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️ this is another pic of it. Daft that is 🙄

It could be an evap or could be an early line, how many DPO are you?

I think that's a line. The Boots ones are slightly less sensitive - 10miu rather than 6.5miu like FRERs.

Ahhh ok, I thought the first response were around 12miu but I think the early response ones are 6.5 like you said. Ok maybe it’s just a bit early then. I’ll retry tomorrow but I hope people aren’t getting these false positives if it is faulty…especially if they’ve been trying a long time etc x

That's why I bought the ones that literally says pregnant/ not pregnant. Didn't have to decipher any lines 😀

I would say that's a line but I'm new to this 🤷🏻‍♀️ .. but not nice for people that are or have been trying for a long time if it's inaccurate aye 😞 keep us posted please 🙏

For FRER the results come up in 3 minutes not 5mins.

Hopefully you get the result you want though . For what it's worth I see it and though there doesn't look to be colour it's likely because it's a very early test.
When is AF due?

I had 2 clear blue ones that were faulty and had bold lines the wrong way, I thought it was positive and just the wrong way in the test but was negative and caused stress! They did give me new tests to replace them, but I haven't tested since and that was December- just wait for AF now - and she's arrived every month 😂

You always get told “a line is still a line, no matter how faint” don’t you…but how on earth do the lines even appear when the line can’t even be activated without HCG?! Baffles me how you can possibly get a false positive 🤦🏻‍♀️ sorry this has happened to you both ☹️ very cruel xx

That's a positive. I'be never ever had en evap or an indent and I test loads! How many DPo are you? Mine looked like this when I was 10DPO

Fingers crossed for you but I had this and it was a BFN in reality. It came up immediately.

Youre not out of the game but test again tomorrow or in a few days if you can wait 😊
