40+ TTC this year

I'm just trying to get an idea and a bit of hope in TTC over 40, and for me...mid 40's!
I'm 44 and will soon be 45 🙃
TTC number 2.
Have been trying for over a year.
IVF not an option.
Delayed our TTC number 2 because of Covid.
Anyone in the same boat?

@KoraliaValentine are these all only available on prescription?

No, none of them are on prescription, but I'm not in the UK so I don't know how easily available they are there. I'd imagine you could get them online though?

@KoraliaValentine ah your message has just given me hope. I read recently that a woman who had tried to get pregnant for years and failed actually got pregnant at 51! They think that’s because she was taking a higher dose of HRT.

I agree with you about lifestyle factors. There are so many things that weren’t around all those years ago…wifi, mobile phones, microwaves etc. probably so much in the water we drink too. It’s quite scary and I’m sure in years to come it will be unveiled.

I’m willing to try anything. I’ve just bought some fertility tea. I need to have a period again so I know body and reset and it’s worrying not had one was regular as clockwork before MC. Feel first month after coming of the pill. I knew it was to good to be true though.

I think I'm out again this month!
I didn't use any OPKs this month only Flo app...plus we only DTD on day 10 and 12.
So I'm not holding out.

Anyone have any good news?

im still waiting for period and spoke to doctor who said they will see me in June if nothing has happened but need give body a couple months to recover since MC

All 9 of my embryos are still going on day 3! Two have only 6 cells, so may not make it, but all the rest are 7-9 cells. I know it's normal for the majority to make it to day 3, and that the real test is still to come, so I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, but I'm feeling more positive. This may prove a mistake, but things are moving in the right direction!

I’m willing to try anything. let me know what you think. Actually not to bad to drink I have 1 in the morning 1 in the afternoon and 1 in the evening only been taking it since yesterday.

Yes that’s what it says recommended dose.
