Starting a thread because I don't see another one yet - I guess it is early for the potential Feb babies!
I'm on CD6 of 2nd cycle post miscarriage/6th month in total, ttc #2, due date would be around 2 February if we're successful this month.
Last month I was way too obsessive about testing, this month I'm really going to try to not let it take over my life - but let's see where I'm at in a few weeks' time. It's a busy month for me with a big work trip just after my fertile window then a family holiday when af is due so at least the tww shouldn't be so much of a drag.
Anyone else early in this cycle who will be trying for a Feb baby?

@Ladyinpink1 Great you caught your positive opk, good luck for this cycle!

I can't believe I'm posting this but I got a positive test this morning at 9dpo. I'm never good at waiting to test and had symptoms the last couple of days, but didn't actually expect a clear line.

This cycle has been such a rollercoaster, it hasn't sunk in yet but I'm happy! I'm sure nerves will kick in soon too after losing my last pregnancy at 8 weeks. Really hope this is the start of our rainbow baby.

Baby dust to those still trying! Anyone else have updates?

@Kiwiburgh Huge congratulations! Wow that line progression is beautiful 😍
How are you feeling?

@Hankthehonk 🎉🎊 congratulations!! I am pleased for you especially after all of the ups and downs and confusion you had this cycle thinking you were out. Thank you for the good wishes, hope to join you over on the pregnancy board before too long 🙂

Kiwiburgh · 13/06/2023 08:08

@Hankthehonk thanks 😊 I'm trying to be excited but I have so much anxiety. 0 symptoms though which is odd.
Are you going to test again for progression or do you have more self control than me? 😂🙈

Hankthehonk · 13/06/2023 08:23

@Kiwiburgh Oh yes I'll be testing every day I can't even pretend I'm not going to obsessively test. Just ordered more frer (can't seem to get them in shops anywhere these days).
I know I shouldn't get my hopes up and it's not that I'm not a bit anxious but I can't help feeling so excited today. My brain is going a hundred miles an hour and I can't help thinking this could be it.

@Ladyinpink1 Thank you!! Very much hoping you get your own bfp soon

@Hankthehonk many congrats!!! That's amazing news 🎉
And bfp at 9dpo too 😀
I'm currently 8dpo and haven't decided what day to test 💭12 months ttc and month after hycosy when supposedly chances are higher.

Thewildthingsarewithme · 13/06/2023 13:09

Can I join? Got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo

Thewildthingsarewithme · 13/06/2023 13:10

24 hours of excessive testing 😂 congratulations to everyone who has got their positive!

Congrats @Hankthehonk and @Thewildthingsarewithme 🤩💖

Hankthehonk · 13/06/2023 13:15

@Thewildthingsarewithme Congratulations!
I've just been to Boots on my lunch break and bought more tests, so I can test daily for the next week or so for progression 💁there's no point pretending I'll do otherwise! Limiting myself to one per day is hard enough

Following as I am cycle 10 ttc baby#1, been reading all of your messages and just wanted to say congrats to all the BFP'S!!! Hoping this is a lucky thread, tomorrow will be 10 days PO so I will test in the morning. Have no symptoms though so not hopeful! Congrats tho guys x x x

Rainyday33 · 13/06/2023 14:41

Huge Congratulations to all who got positive test. Im currently 5+1, got a dye stealer yesterday so no more testing for me. I booked an early scan next week when I will be 6+4. So anxious about it. Hopefully we will all have succesfull pregnancies.

Rainyday33 · 13/06/2023 14:52

OP I hope you dont mind me asking but did you have any symptoms of your misscariage? Did you find out trought the scan or you started bleeding. Im so anxious about it, it seems so common.

Hankthehonk · 13/06/2023 16:27

@Rainyday33 miscarriage experience can be different for everyone but for me it started with bleeding.
The pregnancy seemed to be going fine with strong symptoms. I had a private scan at 7w5d and saw the heartbeat, they said everything was fine. I started bleeding the same evening that I'd had that scan but I didn't worry at first as it was internal and I knew that could cause spotting. However the bleeding got worse and more painful, I'd lost the pregnancy completely 5 days after the scan.
I don't want to scare anyone with this story, it makes me not want to get scans this time as I know I won't get any reassurance now even if there's a heartbeat. I don't think I'll feel totally OK until like a 20 week scan.
I didn't appreciate how common miscarriage was until it happened to me, obviously I'm very scared of it happening again. I've also had one healthy pregnancy though so I need to remind myself that my body can do it.

Nelliepledge · 14/06/2023 06:55

10 days PO and negative FRER this morning. How much can you state at that little window willing it to change 😔

Hankthehonk · 14/06/2023 08:19

@Nelliepledge Oh I know, you're by no means out though! When if af due for you?

jadeyjade8 · 14/06/2023 12:26

hope you dont mind me joining in here! congrats on your BFP's! I am hoping to get mine in the next few days. i am currently 7DPO and i had some cramping really low down in my tummy and on the lower right side too which started Monday morning and stopped last night. i am hoping that might be implantation as i havent had twinges like that before, although is 5DPO too early to start implanting? I am going for a wee every half an hour just so i can wipe and see if i am spotting haha! nothing yet. honestly this TWW drives you crazy doesnt it!😂I havent really had any other symptoms, maybe some slight nausea and slightly sore nipples. really hope i get a BFP like you 2 in the next few days! i have ordered 4 FRER's so i can take one each morning lol!

Aries89 · 14/06/2023 13:26

Congrats on the BFPs! Hoping to join you, I also tested yesterday at 11dpo and today with FMU but it looks lighter today. Has anyone used easy@home? Are they any less sensitive? Hoping to grab a clear blue on the way home from work today. I have had light cramping in the last week and tiny tiny bit of spotting when I wipe yesterday. I also started using progesterone cream this month so not sure if that has anything to do with the symptoms.

Hankthehonk · 14/06/2023 13:34

@Aries89 Congratulations! It might just be to do with the dilution of urine, and not everyone gets strongest test with fmu even though it's meant to be the case. Easy@home are meant to be as sensitive as FRER and Boots early but I'm not sure if that's true, I certainly get clearer lines with the more expensive tests (sadly!) I've found the Boots early response ones to be just as reliable as FRERs and cheaper/easier to get hold of. Got my stash of tests lined up now to keep testing daily through to the end of the week 😖
