Been testing negative I’m on 14 dpo so just waiting for af to arrive, but gutted but a new month is awaiting for a feb 2024 baby

Today the Premom app says I'm 1DPO predicted but I never saw a peak on my ovulation strips. I suppose it means I'm out this month? First time using those tests and it's been massively stressful. Baby dust to us all ❤️

morning all! Trying not to worry as everyone says but.... is that really possible when TTC 😅

EWM appeared cd16 (as it always does) my general cycles can fluctuate 29-32 days is the norm (have had the odd one up to 34 days)

it's now CD18 and my LH has still not risen and I am getting worried it's not going to peak at all. This is our first month trying but I have been tracking for a while to learn about my body.
I was feeling really positive and now this has thrown a spanner.
have attached my Premom tests from this month compared to last.....

has anyone experienced similar? Do I just need to be more patient?

@Favofit I’d just keep testing if I were you. How long are your cycles usually? Your ovulation might be late or you may have missed it on tests. That’s most likely. Last month my peak was 4 days later than usual. This month back to normal. If I’d not kept testing I would’ve missed it xx

Thank you, I had not appreciated that could happen and there could still be a chance. My cycle is 28-29 typically. I will continue testing and see what happens x

I'm literally the same right now, according to my app I'm 2 days away from ovulation and my LH levels have literally been fluctuating from 0.09-0.17 , I'm having a lot of stress at work atm and I'm hoping its not due to stress 😕. This is only cycle 4 for me TTC! But my cycle is usually like clockwork so I'm panicking! Maybe it's just going to be a later ovulation for you, I've ovulated on CD 22 before!

Just completed our first fertile week - so maybe, maybe not. We’ll have to see. Not using ovulation sticks because I just don’t understand them. Can someone please explain using layman’s terms, please?

Didn’t do it everyday. More like every other. I guess it’s just luck really. I’m trying to take a chilled out approach. We’ll see if I’m still like that if it hasn’t happened in 6 months time!

@Favofit @katie1509 @Mangotango39 I know it’s so hard not to worry, I go through ups and downs with it but after reading a lot of comments on here you start to realise that it’s quite normal for periods and ovulation to fluctuate. Lots of things can impact it. Evidence says that cycles that vary up to 7 days in length are still consider clockwork. Mine tend to be between 29-32 but I had a random 34 length one last month. My surge then ended up being day 21 rather than day 16. It just happens sometimes. If you don’t catch your peak sometimes that’s due to a quick surge rather than it not actually happening. My surge is usually less than 24 hours so if I don’t test twice a day I’d miss it.

@DuchessofSuffolk i use ovulation sticks as after a few months of trying I wanted the reassurance that I was actually having sex at the right time but if you’re having sex every other day anyway then you should catch your peak without testing and tbh I think having a relaxed approach is probably better. Basically around halfway through your cycle your body releases the LH which tells your brain to release an egg for ovulation. Ovulation sticks pick up the LH surge. So if you get a positive ovulation test then you should release an egg in the next 24-48 hours. On an ovulation stock there are 2 lines (a control line and test line). In order to have a positive test your test line should be as dark or darker than the control line. I have started using the Premom app where you take a pic of your test and it works it out for you. You can also get digital tests (but they are expensive). Hope that helps!

Ahhh okay, I see. Perhaps I will try in a few months time.

I’m kind of regular. Last couple of cycles have been every 26 days but there have been a few before then where they’ve been 29. I had a really long one last year of 34 days and at the time was bricking it because I had just lost my job (had been made redundant, no fault of mine)

2 week wait begins tomorrow tho, so we’ll see. I’m due on the 3rd, but am off work on 1st and 2nd so will have to find things to do to keep myself busy…. throw me ideas!!

Thank you @Bluebell0921 I'm trying to stay positive but can't help but feel sad looking at the ovulation tests I've taken so far. To have consistently low levels and have the app suggest I'm 1DPO . Guess all I can do now is keep testing xx

Evening everyone. CD 26 and, despite two sets of positive opks, no temperate shift. I suspect an anovulatory cycle after last month's chemical, and I have period pains now so guessing it'll come in a few days. I'm so gutted.

@Favofit it’s so hard not to get disheartened. I remember feeling exactly the same in the beginning and then worrying that something was wrong. You never know though you could get your pos ovulation test tomorrow and then you’re on cloud nine. It’s literally an emotional rollercoaster! If you don’t get a positive this month it doesn’t mean you’re not ovulating it just means you’ve probably missed the peak. Keep having regular sex anyway 😊

@HelgaPatakisDiary aw I’m sorry lovely. Must be so hard having a chemical. Try not to be hard on your body it’s been through a lot. Look after yourself xx

I know it's super duper early but the past 2 days I've been waking up feeling very nauseous and a bit off. I don't even know if you can get symptoms this early or maybe it's something else. But I'm never ever sick or nauseous!

9DPO for me today. No symptoms so just waiting it out still. Haven't got any tests so going to grab some in a couple of days and maybe test at 12DPO if no AF x
